Just a bit of a tip, the black plastic clips that run the wires down the side of the case lock into place. I see in your vid highlighting the cable channels that you have them un-clipped as they would be when you place the wire. Just push the black end of the clip past the inside of the case and it will lock right into place.
I tried every fan orientation possible. When I say everyone possible, i literally spent hours changing and testing until I got the best setup. I also tried 3 different cpu coolers on my 7800X3D and there is one clear winner. The position of the Tower is in the upright position. Motherboard is an Asus B650E-I Rog Strix gaming Wifi ITX. My GPU is a Noctua edition 4080 Super. The coolers tested are the Noctua NH-12UA Air cooler, the Kraken 240 AIO, and the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360. The best orientation and cooler to use for myself is the top fans that come with it used as intakes. The two rear 120’s intake. The lower chamber above PSU is intake. The Arctic liquid freezer was the best at cooling the CPU and the fans are used as exhaust fans. Temps at idle are 39C on average. Under full load testing with cinebench 23,24 and prime 95, max temps reach 79C. With the Noctua NH12-UA idle averages were around 43C With a max temp of 84C under full load testing. With the Kraken 240 AIO idle was averaging 44-45C with a max of 81C. Room temp was 73F or 22.7C.

I wonder what your gpu temps are when the case is in the upright position. It is still the reason i have not pulled the trigger on this case because if i put a 7900 xtx in it the gpu will reach close to max temps the same could apply for the possibility of other GPUs.
I did a complete iCue Link build in my Hyte Y60. Had to buy extra cables from Corsair to get enough 90° connections. The extra cost for that was stupid annoying and won't ever use that system again. I just bought a Tower 300 for a new build for my wife. Thinking of doing a Lian Li cooling build this time. Reversible LCD fans are cheaper than iCue.
I added 2 120 slim fans on the side where the GPU is and mine is also vertical so I added 2 120mm fans on the right end where the stand would be and looks clean. I put the those small triangle Corsair led in the inside of the case where the LCD would go and looks clean
Hi t00hrd64, that's awesome to hear, did you purchase a second fan/aio bracket to use on the left side? I hadn't considered using those triangles, I still have some in the closet! good video. I been thinking about picking up the new Tower 600 they announced at computex a couple weeks ago when it comes out later this month/august and they are pretty much same type layout only more room etc and you can do fans on both sides. was trying to plan ahead for fans and stuff and wasnt sure exactly how the towers worked airflow-wise so this helped answer a couple of questions.

Just finished up a build in this case a few weeks ago, overall i really like it, it is large for an itx build but it does fit a corsair h170i 420mm rad. I like vertical positioning but it wont fit under my desk hutch so i got the stand but im conflicted with it, i feel like it should be more upright and being sideways you lose a bit of access, only thing i feel they missed out on is fan mount rail on the left side by gpu but you can kinda mount fans to the cover.
On remvable doors or panels like that, i likenusing extensions thatbrun up to the door so i can disconnect the fan at the extenderand fully remove thebdoor when servicing anything behind the door
How noisy is that setup for you? I have to tone down fans quite a bit because it creates extreme levels of noise. Did you notice anything regarding GPU temperatures when having it upright or on the side?
Hi doCtorBlahMan, I didn't see any massive difference when using the AIO fans as exhaust, I recorded a MAX cpu temp of 72.5 during cinebench on both setups, but your mileage will vary based on your configuration and setup. @@cloudboogie A total failure to make a case the size of a double chamber but with the power going down instead of being as wide as regular cases where the power is on the bottom. Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini-Tower, Lian Li Q58W3, zalman p 30 for example are nice cases and still smaller than this one. I don't see the point of going for a micro ATX board and then putting it in a case bigger than some mid tower cases. That's why would you want a smaller case.
no, here it makes no sense to have a case that large for only micro-atx! Is it possible to fit an ATX motherboard in that? If so, then I've nothing to complain about.@@cloudboogie
If someone here is considering getting the Lian Li TL or SL series setup, there would be clearance issue with the Hub and it will take a lot of wiring and finessing if you were to place the Hub on the top shroud of 3.5 ssd mount. So had to mount the fans in the back making it look like a backpack.
Did you ever come up with some creative solutions to hide the I/O inside the case? I love the aesthetic of this Tower 300 but don't like the idea of having to see all my ugly USB plugs etc up top (especially if I use a BTF or Project Zero board....)
Hi Boombocks_Studio, I was not able to come up with anything that I though would look good. Anything 3D Printed just looks dumb IMO. but, i'm an amateur 3D designer....so it's possible something else could be out there. I found that I didn't actually mind it the way it looked, it looked ok to me the way it was.....surprisingly. I just did a video on the Tower 600 and they have not done it this way, they have covered this area in the normal way. So consider looking at the Tower 600 as it has a similar design....spoiler though, I prefer the 300 over the 600, only because I don't absolutely love how wide the 600 is....but thats a personal preference, it's still a good looking case. @@HardwareArtisan thanks for the reply! I'm tight on space unfortunately and the 300 fits my needs just right. That Tower 600 is pretty large compared to the 300 so it just won't fit

Maybe if your using huge GPUS and huge AIOs. But i have a 240 AIO and a 2 fan 4070 so the case just looked depresingly empty.
What is the quality of the power switch? as I'm thinking of getting this case, to replace my Fractal Design Define 7 Nano because the power switch on my Nano has failed and been replaced by Fractal twice in less than year.

Hi dbnpoldermans4120, I can't thing of any USB drives like that off hand. Another viewer mentioned they used the LC100 Triangles from Corsair. I have some those and don't know why it didn't try using them to spice up the look. But, check out the LC100 triangles from Corsair, those would surely be unique and look good I think. Thanks for watching!!!
it's just the AIO position that bothered me. i've watch this video of steve burke from gamer nexus about what's the best position of AIO, could it be plug upside down with 360 AIO ? some ppl install a 240 AIO so it can fit in proper size and position. but may be i can maximise it with 360 what do you think ?
Hi maruu.gaming, you will be fine with a 360mm aio in this case. As long as your pump isn't the highest part of the loop, it will be fine. I pointed out that it would be possible to get your aio on the bottom, which is not what you want. So just keep the tower 300 rotated so your aio is in the top position and you will be in good shape. ..good luck and have fun! Thanks for watching.
Hi Kawnersaur, I'm assuming you meant to say the NH-D15 CPU cooler. In that case, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. The height of that cooler is 165mm, the case supports 210mm high coolers. As far as the other dimensions, it should work with any of the following sockets, assuming you bought it after Q2 2022. Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150 and AMD AM5, AM4 I can't see any reason why this wouldn't work. Good Luck and Have Fun!!! Thanks for watching!
Can you see the two fans on the back when looking at the case head on? I'm looking to build in this tower and wondering if I need to splurge for the two extra RGB fans on the back or can I put standard fans back there as they might not be seen.
I thnk the 600 will generally be the same experience, but I haven't had a chance to look at the 600 yet. the 600 is a larger case obviously and has some additional capabilities. I've ordered it and plan to do a video. Good Luck and thanks for watching!
@@HardwareArtisan alright I had one last question for my build is there a cpu air cooler good enough to cool an i9 13900k because I m terrified of using liquid coolers what if one day it leaks
You can have the pipes configuration that way. As long as the highest point of the AIO is NOT the water pump block, you're gucci. Personally, don't do AIO's at all unless you are absolutely getting thermal throttling because they're only a few degrees more effective than an air cooler. You can get more bang for your buck with just more case fans tbh.
Hi abdulhadialthaibi7475, that's a great question. Lenghwise it's ok, but Width, although technically it fits, i'm not certain it will line up properly. You would have to use this on the right side. It does look like you can remove the side cover on the AIO and free up the water hoses if necessary. But, the fact is, I have not tried and I'm not 100 percent certain this would fit. It might fit, but it would be just barely and might require some tweaking. If you do try it, let me know if it works, I don't have one of those AIO's around or I would be happy to check it. Thanks for watching!!
thank you for responding and yeah since the aio with the tubes on the side it’s gonna be 143mm you would think it may fit with the tubes facing the glass
What are the odds of being able to squeeze an ATX motherboard in there? I realize I would have to make an adapter out of plastic for the standoffs and probably rotate it and use a GPU ribbon wire to connect the GPU stuff like that, but dimension wise, think it's possible?
Did I say 9? Oh man, I try to catch mistakes, but i'll have to rewatch it. It's 8....2 in top, 2 in rear, 3 on the right side and a single on PSU cover......Ok, you could also get fans on the left side, but thats not by design. Thanks for clarifying! Thanks for watching!!

People keep jabbering on about the USB slots and moan about connecting to them in this case. There's 2 right on the front plus a type c, there is literally NO reason to cry about the USB on the back of the motherboard. If you need constant access to the back USB then obviously this case isn't for you. The 3 up front are perfectly fine for 99% of users. Not sure why the tears but every reviewer is moaning about this single NON point.
Hi defaul_tm4886, I would totally agree with that point that if you need constant access to the rear USB ports, this isn't a great fit. No tears here, just when reviewing this particular case, it is of importance that users understand that may be a point of frustration depending on your desires. It's also an unusual look, one that which I actually find I liked, I'm a fan of it! But, for most of use, it is a NON point for sure. Great feedback! Thanks for watching!

Idk, it looks cool. Thatsbreason enough for me, and arguably looks as cool as the tower 500
If someone here is considering getting the Lian Li TL or SL series setup, there would be clearance issue with the Hub and it will take a lot of wiring and finessing if you were to place the Hub on the top shroud of 3.5 ssd mount. So had to mount the fans in the back making it look like a backpack.
Thanks for the excellent video.
Good Luck, have fun, and thanks for watching!!
@@HardwareArtisan thanks for the reply! I'm tight on space unfortunately and the 300 fits my needs just right. That Tower 600 is pretty large compared to the 300 so it just won't fit
I really liked the look of it. BUT personally i already got rid of mine because i went microATX to have a more compact system and this case ended up being bigger then my old ATX case.
Looking for products similar to that Flashotron 3000 USB Drive
Any suggestions? Preferably I would like a white usb stick with those lights to go with my snow white build. Thanks!
Is there room for wifi antennas to stick out the back?
it's just the AIO position that bothered me.
i've watch this video of steve burke from gamer nexus about what's the best position of AIO,
could it be plug upside down with 360 AIO ?
some ppl install a 240 AIO so it can fit in proper size and position. but may be i can maximise it with 360
what do you think ?
Hi maruu.gaming, you will be fine with a 360mm aio in this case. As long as your pump isn't the highest part of the loop, it will be fine. I pointed out that it would be possible to get your aio on the bottom, which is not what you want. So just keep the tower 300 rotated so your aio is in the top position and you will be in good shape. ..good luck and have fun! Thanks for watching.
I’m considering doing a build with this case. Would the noctua nh-215 work?
Hi Kawnersaur, I'm assuming you meant to say the NH-D15 CPU cooler. In that case, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. The height of that cooler is 165mm, the case supports 210mm high coolers. As far as the other dimensions, it should work with any of the following sockets, assuming you bought it after Q2 2022.
Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150 and AMD AM5, AM4
I can't see any reason why this wouldn't work. Good Luck and Have Fun!!! Thanks for watching!
Can you see the two fans on the back when looking at the case head on? I'm looking to build in this tower and wondering if I need to splurge for the two extra RGB fans on the back or can I put standard fans back there as they might not be seen.
theyre not seen tbh, i put 2 standard 140mms but if you have 2 rbg ones, why not.
Does it apply for the 600 series because that's what I'm planning on
I thnk the 600 will generally be the same experience, but I haven't had a chance to look at the 600 yet. the 600 is a larger case obviously and has some additional capabilities. I've ordered it and plan to do a video. Good Luck and thanks for watching!
@@HardwareArtisan alright I had one last question for my build is there a cpu air cooler good enough to cool an i9 13900k because I m terrified of using liquid coolers what if one day it leaks
Does the mobo wifi work without antennas?
Curious the side mount 360 AIO, I was taught not to have the pipes at the top like that.
@@scottwpilgrim I did as much for form as for function. I actually went with the tower 200 and did mount the pipes at the top above the AIO.
Glad I saw this, trying to downsize and this is not a micro solution, deceivingly big.
would the lian li Hydroshift AIO fits in there ?
I can’t believe such a HUGE case doesn’t support ATX mb
I'm disappointed too. Really wanted to build this one. I guess it's 500 then...
What are the odds of being able to squeeze an ATX motherboard in there? I realize I would have to make an adapter out of plastic for the standoffs and probably rotate it and use a GPU ribbon wire to connect the GPU stuff like that, but dimension wise, think it's possible?
You said 9 fans. Is it 9 or 8?
Did I say 9? Oh man, I try to catch mistakes, but i'll have to rewatch it. It's 8....2 in top, 2 in rear, 3 on the right side and a single on PSU cover......Ok, you could also get fans on the left side, but thats not by design.
Thanks for clarifying! Thanks for watching!!
@@HardwareArtisan it happens to the best of us lol. You have it right at the end it’s at the beginning. Love your channel by the way!
According to thermaltake themselves the project zero board won't work.....
Hi Dakota2146, thanks for information. I might have to just try it....I've been looking for a reason to give one a shot! I'm not sure there is much interest in using Project Zero boards, but fun is fun!
Thanks for the info and for watching!!!
i can garanty, that plastic on any computer-enclosure will over time become a problem.
A GeForce GTX card? The video is 4 mo old not 4 years old
People keep jabbering on about the USB slots and moan about connecting to them in this case.
I hate small cases. built one itx and that was enough.
Not looking at a micro atx or a mini itx build in a case that's as big as a midtower. LAME!
Air coolers look ugly, this case looks better with an aio
Hi jasunlg, that's a fair point for sure. I personally did like the Air Cooler in this, but it's hard to beat the AIO with LCD screen. Thanks for watching!!!
