Step 1: Beef Jerky Ragu & Nut Cream
Ingredients
Bunch of assorted beef jerky/smoked snack sausages
4 cans crushed tomatoes
Lots of pico de gallo
Some sort of flavored almonds
5 Pepper jack sticks/any shelf-stable cheese stick
1) Blanche the almonds in water then throw into the vitamix until creamy and whipped. Add pepper jack sticks and continue to blend.
2) Add the pico de gallo and snack sausages to the food processor and pulse until a fine paste. Add to a hot pan and cook down until pasty and sludgy.
3) Add crushed tomatoes and let simmer until it looks like a sauce.

Large sauce pot

Step 2: Funyun Pasta Dough
Ingredients
3 little bags of Funyuns
Flour
Eggs
1) Blend chips with flour in the Vitamix then pour out onto the counter. Add eggs to the center of the well and use a fork to gradually mix and knead by hand.
2) Wrap in plastic and let rest in the fridge for half an hour. Roll the pasta out in a pasta roller then cut into lasagna sheets.

Step 3: Assemble & Garnish
Ingredients
1 portion snack meat ragu
1 portion nut cheese cream
Lots of snack chip lasagna noodles
15 string cheeses, cut into small slices
3 big bite hot dogs
Small pot of hot oil
1) Layer snack meat ragu on the bottom of a large baking dish. Add noodles, then cheese, then snack meat ragu, then noodles, etc, until it looks like lasagna.
2) Throw sliced string cheeses on top and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
3) Cut slices into a hot dog and deep fry it so it looks like an octopus.
4) Remove a slice of lasagna, and top it with an octopus hot dog.

I've been working with kids with various attention deficits for a few years now and this...is a pretty accurate depiction of why I'm so tired when I get home. And why sometimes my ears/head ring long after they're out of the room hahaha. I love them but I did need to eat 3-4 hi chew candies immediately before seeing them for the sugar confidence.

I've been subscribed to Matty (my fellow Canadian) for years. Trust me he's crazier than Josh and cusses like a sailor on his channel. He's worth the follow and going through his back catalogue of vids. I was amused by how tame he was in this video with Josh.

I've been showing my mum, who used to be a chef and own a restaurant, your videos. She made it about 3 minutes into this one because she couldn't handle the raw power the two of you produce when combined 😂

It's so nice having two extremely knowledgeable people cooking who know SO much about food, and are just normal people. Most chefs have this snooty, calm, almost boring vibe..and it's amazing to just see two passionate, AMAZING chefs working together! loved this!
Matty asked Josh if he had formal culinary training because Josh kept adding flour to the dough, when it didn't need any, it just needed to be kneaded.

Canadians officially use metric but tend to colloquially use imperial, especially when given an estimate. What really gets confusing is when cooking everything's in ferenheit because all our ovens default to ferenheit and its too much work to change them, but when you talk about the weather it's always celcius.

This is painfully accurate lol. Also I tend to use inches and feet even though it's supposed to be cm and metres here, and I've started mixing up my Canadian vs American English spelling because of the internet and being excluded to USA friends posts too often lol

I had not heard of Matty before today, but my god he was delightful to watch, so much sass and joy/positivity rolled into one person, and he makes me think if you took the iconic traits of Rip Taylor and Dom DeLuise and combined them, this is what you would get. Definitely will check out more of his stuff, and hope he'll be back to join Josh and maybe the Myth Muncher gang someday soon again.
