There isn't that much Ninjutsu actually in the deck as you're only Ninjutsu'ing Thousand Face Shadow when you're super far ahead. It's more a Kaito aggro-midrange deck, and 3 of the Kaitos care about dealing combat damage, which Ornithopter can't do.
You can respond to an annex trigger and bounce the demon if they don’t control one they lose too life. No need to second main phase and risk then having another. Given it’s a n if then clause
24:20 this is just gives your opponent a chance to have an out. If you bounce the demon with the annex trigger on the stack then they lose the life because when the ability resolves they do not have a demon.

I've been playing a "kaito" tribal deck in standard it mostly plays the 3 mana kaito but I have 2 copies of dancing shadows and one copy of bane of nightmare. Then I threw in mischievous mystic and the annex archfiend combo with some removal and 2 puppeteers. It's been doing really well.
I had this idea for standard but pioneer might be the place where this deck can shine because there’s barely any ninja in standard rn. I will definitely enjoy this video

I'm not sure if thoughtseize makes sense in the mainboard here. It's competing too much with your early drops, maybe deep cavern bat would be better to run double duty as an evasive threat and hand hate?
@mattm7798 they're not all ninjas though, there's the spyglass siren as well. And thoughtseize isn't a ninja, it's a 1-for-1 that is often not a good topdeck, in a deck that already has a few bad topdecks

This might be my favorite ATO deck ever. This deck does everything I want to do in MTG. Dancing Shadow is pretty meh and mono blue kaito is also meh, but i guess if the idea is play all the Kaitos, you have to play them. I really hope WotC puts either Ingenious Infiltrator or Ninja of the Deep Hours in Pioneer so you can play a really good ninja deck.
You should play a Planeswalker tribal match on commander clash if you haven't and if you have do it again where you have to play every single version of one planeswalker

I don't know where, but I want some kind of maindeck counter spell. Even if it's like phantom interference, so we can play tempo early and late gam3 make a flyer. Maybe single use, but I think it's the kind of flexibility you want.
Man this makes me want to try pioneer again. It used to be my favorite format but I'm just too tilted by Thoughtseize. That first match vs demons brought me right back to what made me quit.
I'm disappointed that you didn't include Kaito's Pursuit. You'd have every card in MtG with Kaito's name in it, and it would actually kinda work in this deck.

Aah. The game against phoenix is exactly why I can't bring myself to play Bo3. Like I've spent all this time to create a cool Kaito centric deck and I win because... I have a 2 mana artifact... It doesn't really matter what the rest of my deck is as long as it's functional. Just find your 2 mana artifact and you'll win the game.
I mean... graveyard decks are always super powerful if you don't bring in graveyard hate. So it's either win with the 2 mana artifact, or lose because your opponent has a second, more mana efficient hand to play with.
This is not against the odds pfft. This is similar to my deck. I have ornithopters with satoru for card draw and evasive creature and palm biting ninja that can repeatably attack enemy hand!

I've found that Ornithopter is far better than Siren in Ninjas because you can redeploy it after ninjutsu, meaning you can ninjutsu again next turn.
This is exactly what I was thinking, Ornithopter has been the default as far back as Legacy Ninjas
I think he was valuing the map which can trigger revolt. I don't know if it's correct but it makes sense.

Problem is this is a ninja deck...you really don't want to pick up the bat. Honestly, thoughtseize is a near auto include in any deck that can run it.

The last 3 Foundations drafts I played on Arena, I pulled a Kaito, so I just went U/W flyers, U/B flying mostly, and an esper deck. I almost won all 3
