Hello, I'm starting my preparation for CAE exam and I was wondering what kind of resources could you recommend me using. I'd be really greatful with your response :)
After 2 years I got my C1 certificate, it's grade C but I'm proud of myself. I wanted to let you know because you've been inspiring me even we don't know each other. Gracias por tus consejos y los materiales 😊 ¡nadie da tan buenas vibras como tú!
Your English is definitely proficient. Congrats :-) It's balm to the soul and ears just to listen to your smooth and brilliant English :-) Thanks for sharing.
No wonder you got such a high grade by the way you speak. Indeed, I think you could've rather tried the CPE instead. I got a 199 pts in the CAE and my speaking level is not in the least comparable to yours. Congratulations!
Kate, I don't really know what to say, thanks a lot for the materials and your advice! I've aced the exam and got an A with an overall score of 202! Very much appreciated, indeed!
It makes me smile when I see you almost laughing when you say "with grade AAAA". The happiness on your face is just enviable. Congratulation on passing your exam ... with grade A :)
Thank you so much for the material, I have only a month to prepare for the CAE, and you are totally right, I´ve been studying English pretty much my whole life and I didn´t do well at all in the practice exam they provide, you absolutely need to know every section of the exam to perform well, knowing the language is not enough.
Dear Katerina, Your video with all the shared resources was such a great help during my preparation for CAE! I passed my exam with grade B and even on the morning of the exam I was listening to your tips. :) You are wonderful, I will be grateful for you forever! Thank you for sharing this with us!
In 2018, thanks for your videos and materials, these are helpful not only for the CAE exam, but also to have a better knowledge of spoken English, I study English on my own so you are a very motivate person. If you could I think I can do this too. I'm getting ready to take TOEFL test. You have a great level of English and your accent is great too.
Congratulations! Your video really inspired me before my exam. I received my results yesterday, an overall of 207, just like yours! Thank you so much for this astonishing video ❤️
Hello Katerina, I'd like to thank you very much. Your pieces of advice and resources turned out to be absolutely essential. I did the test a couple of months ago, and I have passed at Grade A (208/210). :) THANK YOU AGAIN!

I concur with your view that an additional benefit of the preparation is that it gives you the opportunity to learn new words that you may not otherwise have got acquainted with. I am currently toying with the idea of doing the C2 (CPE) in English. I have previously lived in the UK and also studied English literature there. My vocabulary size is approximately 25,000 words. Hi! Thank you very much for this compliment. Truth be told, I've never been to the US or anywhere abroad for that matter, my accent is the result of listening to a huge amount of content and trying to imitate the sounds I hear. Hello Katerina. I´m from Bazil and i'm taking classes to do the CAE in the next year. I've have already taken the others Cambridge test and have pass with best marks. However as you, at first I though The CAE Was really difficult, but in the end I noticed that it not actually hard, but it has a lot of tricks there. I'm studying at home too, so I thank you so much for your files and the dictionary which it will be handy for me, especially for word formation, because it gives you the word family of the word you a searching for. Thanks a lot!
Hi katerina, I really appreciate you shared the material you used in your own preparation and on top of that your tips that will help me to get ready to the test. Greetings
I found your video two days ago and your tips are awesome, not to mention super helpful! Thanks for sharing this valuable information! I'll let you know my score! :)
Hello, Katerina! Thank you for sharing your experience on the CAE exam. You did very well on this test, and it seems that you really cracked the exam format. Your English is proper. Your speech is very logical and straightforward. Your vocab is rich and versatile. In 2016, I took the CAE test and I achieved Grade B (C1 level). I did not prepare anyhow for this test, except I watched a couple of example speaking tests from this test on TH-cam. My overall score is 193 (Reading /Use of English/ Writing/Listening / Speaking: 175/205/200/ 187/196). So, I barely passed the exam at C1 level. Even though I am at the lower bound of this C1 level, I am happy with my result. Reading section I found the most difficult, perhaps as an unprepared reader I was not ready for the distractions.
Hello Valeriy! Thanks for sharing your experience, think you did great considering you hadn't had any preparation. I took my time getting ready for the exam. Has the certificate proven to be of use to you in real life?
:) This test certificate I am going to use to apply for studying a university degree. My English skills helped me in real life before. I studied in English my master's degree in mechanical engineering in Stockholm, Sweden and I worked in the oil and gas industry in Norway where the work language was English. I am using English from time to time these days. I never stop learning English and plan to take CAE and CPE in the future to monitor my skills. By the means of taking CAE test I sort of did a SWOT analysis (SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) of my English. I found out that there is a lot space for improvements. Especially, I did relatively poorly on the reading paper. Your advices on how to crack the reading paper are very to the point. I will try to use those in my CAE /CPE reading skills honing.
First of all, congrats for the grade you got. Secondly, your accent and vocabulary are definitely highly advanced, I loved them both... Thank so so so much for the Google drive files! :)!!! Now I am going to start studying to get mine as well. Best regards from Chile.
As long as you practice every single day ,you will be improving a lot because you can "measure"" your progress although it's not easy to know if you're improving !
Hello! Thank you so much for the video, it really helped me. I only wanted to say that my teacher told me that in writing part 2 "email" is not necessary to put "FROM, TO & SUBJECT" in the beggining, so you did right =D

Thank you) Very useful. I'm planning to pass the exam next year and really have to get my act together, especially when it comes to those huge texts you've mentioned)
Thank you for all the tips, advice and also the preparation materials for the test. I'm going to take the test at the end of this year. I have 8 more months to go, hopefully I can get grade A like you do! ^.^

Hi Katerina, I must say that your English is amazing, I had the opportunity to live in the us where I've met lots of Russians and could say no one I've ever met spoke with your vocabulary, your grammar and specially your accent. Congrats to a devoted English language studious (not student). Thanks for this great piece of advice. Greetings from the other end of the world, Argentina.
Hi! Thank you very much for this compliment. Truth be told, I've never been to the US or anywhere abroad for that matter, my accent is the result of listening to a huge amount of content and trying to imitate the sounds I hear. There's also a couple of American TH-cam channels that helped me hone my pronunciation skills.
Saludos a vos, tambien! Hay tanta gente que me vea desde países hispanohablantes, es increíble :)
Have you already taken the exam?
I'm taking the CAE exam in the following months and I'm quite intimidated by the amount of preparation materials you've shared (which btw, THANK YOU!!!). Now, let's do this! :D

THANK U VERY MUCH, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. HOPE U HAVE THE BEST DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS AND LIFE.
I have sincerelly appreciated your help on this video!
Hi Katerina, I'm taking this exam next week so thank you for these very good tips. Best wishes from Santiago de Chile.
I can´t believe that you´ve shared all these materials with all of us. In 2020 I really thank you from Argentina.
Hi there!
I'm from Argentina too. Are you thinking about taking the exam soon? I'll take it as soon as this lockdown is over.
@@camilaarrechea2302 Hi Camila! Nowadays I´m preparing the exam but I´ll be sitting up next year though. I wish you all the best :)

Hi katerina, I really appreciate you shared the material you used in your own preparation and on top of that your tips that will help me to get ready to the test. Greetings
Thank you so much for all of this material. It is really useful for me!! I am sitting for the exam in November and I needed practice.
you´re very kind for sharing with us your personal experience, also thanks for the CAE preparation materials.
Hi there!! I am preparing for CAE. I really appreciate your tips and materials. They are really helpful :)
What a great result ! congratulations
First of all, congrats for the grade you got. Secondly, your accent and vocabulary are definitely highly advanced, I loved them both...
Thank so so so much for the Google drive files! :)!!! Now I am going to start studying to get mine as well.
Best regards from Chile.
Good luck with preparation, I hope you get the grade you're wishing for. Saludos desde Rusia ;)
As long as you practice every single day ,you will be improving a lot because you can "measure"" your progress although it's not easy to know if you're improving !
Can`t thank you enough for the video and materials, you are the best! ❤️❤️❤️
wow, I'm amazed! I'm doing my exam in July and this is very helpful. Thank you!
Hello! Thank you so much for the video, it really helped me. I only wanted to say that my teacher told me that in writing part 2 "email" is not necessary to put "FROM, TO & SUBJECT" in the beggining, so you did right =D
Hi! I'm not entirely sure about this issue, I've definitely seen them written in sample emails...
thank you so much for the tips, these helped me get an A at the exam and i am really happy that i found your video right on time✨
Hi! How are you? Could you share some materials with me by email please? Thanks in advance!!
Thanks for sharing! Your English is absolutely impressive! Thank you for the resources and tips! I'm planning to take CAE in May 2017. High time to start preparing!
You're welcome! Wish you lots of determination and patience to achieve your goal :)
Thank you!!!
That was a very serious experience to share! Thanks a lot . I'm gonna pass this exam soon.
Hello Katerina: I watched your nice video a couple of days before my CAE, and .. was it useful! Wow, I am indebted. Very good advice.

Bernardo Torres My test is on June 24th too!! Good luck to us!!
How was the result
I just failed at my reading test ,again :(
Noo Noo I am going to receive my results in august.. Ugh, I know, It's soo late😕 I found the listening part pretty difficult 😥 I really hope I pass It..
Noo Noo Did you pass It overall?
nah ,just a reading test in my college , i practise for months but still fail with all the stupid qustions
I love that you explain things in a very organized and detailed way..my exam is next week on Saturday (12 days left) and I am sooo nervous..I didn't practise as much as I wanted to, and now I don't really know what to start with
Since you're short of time, do some practice tests, revise the layout and patterns of all types of writing (letter, report, etc.) and practise speaking on popular topics.
Katerina sooo I passed it :) thank you for your tips
Great! Congrats ;)
really helpful video! Thanks! And congrats on the exam!
I'm taking the test next weekend, very useful information thanks. I'll tell you later my results
Thank you so so freaking much for all the material and tips! Absolutely amazing! Great help :)
Katerina, in 10:00 I really agree with you. My English teacher online emphasize to me not to use boring words and I notice that Cambridge videos generally show CAE aspirants who use words and phrases which are B1 level. It's so strange!!
I find your tips really interesting so I am thinking on take the exam next june.such a good materials thanks
I'm not native speaker but I can say that your speaking is considered be a high level. Well done darling and wish you all the best.
