  • In a time of self-isolation, Sifu Steven Burton teaches you how to develop destructive power using items that can be improvised from your own home or easily purchased online. Utilising traditional conditioning to develop muscle tendon and ligament strength followed by basic iron palm training, you too can develop the devastating power you would want for self protection.

    Thanks very much! These are invaluable tips for me in my Goju-ryu practice. I see very little emphasis placed on conditioning and grappling skills in martial arts schools these days, and that is a shame. Cheers!

    Hello, The exercises for the forearms you have shown strengthens them but how would you safely train them to take strikes or to strike with them.
    And is there specific Qigong for each body part that needs to be trained along side it. Hope you can help.

      Hi, please review my other clip to train beginners arm conditioning. HARDCORE IRON ARM TRAINING | Sifu Steven Burton , this will give you good, traditional arm conditioning. Yes there are specific Qi gong which can be trained to assist with successful training.

    Aren't you worried that damage to the fingertips is related to eyesight

    • @IronFist108
      @IronFist108  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Sadly there are many misconceptions about this. There is no proven evidence both in western science or Tcm where training fingertips damages the eyesight. We use our fingers everyday for various tasks, this does not affect our eyes. However training any body part should always be combined with correct application of Dit Da Jow. See one of my other videos for details. My Master in China is over 70 yrs old and has perfect eyesight and has been training these skills since his childhood. I myself have trained these skills for many years and I have 20/20 vision. So in answer to your question No I’m not worried at all. Masters on Wudang and Shaolin do finger press-ups and even finger handstands, no issue with their eyesight, just vary powerful fingers for striking.
