Front Squats 303lb for reps, Karlsen Squats 485lb, Axle Overhead Press 265lb, Press Behind the neck

  • A so so workout today.
    Started with front squats with harness up to 137.5kg or 303lb for 5 reps, quite easy.
    Then Karlsen Squats up to 220kg or 485lb for 8 reps and was very hard.
    Axle Overhead Push Press emom style then finished with 120kg or 265lb
    Then seated barbell presses behind the neck.
    Then trap 3 raises for shoulder stab (not filmed)
    Then finished up with 4 rounds of 500 metres on the concept 2 rowing machine. Nearly killed me.

    I find 5kg in overhead press is like adding 50kg to a deadlift its crazy how different it can feel especially on less sleep than normal :p

    Hey Glenn, what would a good training cycle look like if it only consisted of deadlifting once a week?

      Well you Coukd have different weeks where you do maybe volume one week, then a light speed week then a heavy rep week.
