- in todays video, we got a question saying what do I do if my bjj coach does not notice me or give me much attention. Well this is a very common feeling in the gym where some people are not sure if their coach likes them or not. This is what you should do and how you should deal with it. Two sides of this. As a coach I straight up tell new students that I will not commit their name to memory for at least 6 weeks. Just because of the 95% turnover. On the other side I left a school I had trained at for about 3 years simply because the instructor was a dick and we didn't like each other. He finally made it clear I wasn't going anywhere training there. So I made it clear I was done giving him $$$.
Thats crazy, seems like a bad coach.

I would've took that as a major form of disrespect if you told that to me while paying you to take lessons. You are basically telling them they are just numbers to u. How arrogant it must suck to be your student good grief
@@sliderx1897 I'm not telling them they are just numbers. I'm telling them if they wanna stand out they need to show the fuck up and be regular. Why do I want to waste my time learning who someone is for them to come to 3 classes in a month and a half and leave? I have dozens of people come try the classes out per month. Just because you pays you money does not make you special.
Go run an academy for a few years then come back and tell me about how you commit each person who walks in the door for their free class to memory.

Just leave and find another gym, its not school or uni, you don't have to be there. If you are paying for something and not enjoying it, just quit, no one is forcing you to be there.

I had a coach that clearly didn’t like/ got annoyed by white belts wich I could understand imagine how many he trained and they left. Idk if most people noticed it but I did.

What are the things only reason that I coach with you is if you’re doing things that you shouldn’t be doing like hurting other students. You might be disrespecting him in someway but it’s kind of important that that coach or that professor pulled you aside and explained to you what problems he’s having so that you both can see Eye 2 Eye and there wouldn’t be any problems. That way it’ll get worked out
What better motivation and realization at early stage...people aren't going to like you so what!
Be the best...let it drive you...strive. the haters and the gossipers...every gym has them...smash them.
The best way to get his attention is joining the tournaments and get a medal.
Fuk his attention...do it for you...make his mistake his, not yours by trying to live up to his ego
