I love the colour you chose for the bike! Well wear
Thanks!!
Absolutely love that bike
But - if I was to get one, I’d upgrade to XO mechanical with some massive 220mm Megura brakes
Regardless though it’s beautifully done for Gen 3 - glad you have one and glad you’re proud of it!! 🤙
Those would be some insane upgrades for sure! And thank you :) I'm glad to have it as well!
Sick bike, What size did you get?
Nice bike! Congratulations
Thank you!!
Damn that's sick man very nice ride the color it's so good
Yess!
Looks sick 🔥
Yess!
Nice! I just got the marlin 7 gen 3 medium size in azure blue, its really nice
Congrats! That’s a sick bike
I love it❤
:D
Ordered one, waiting for it to come in
Nice!
Same here. Olive
I own this exact bike also in this colour and she is my pride and joy the colour pops in the summer and it’s an all round bike. The lowest gear is ideal for dog walking
Si la hubieran montado con Shimano Deore en vez de Sram SX, sería una MUY BUENA opción de compra.
Totally agree!
❤❤❤
:D
is it a nice bike i'll buy to build one wheel?
I'm thinking about getting this bike but rebranded to Marlin 7 gen 3 2024 model in beautiful Keswick color! Sram SX Eagle is making me question my choice, is it a bad drivetrain and derailleur? Or will I make use of it as a casual XC biker? The other option I'm considering is X-Caliber 8. Thanks for the reply!
Yeah that marlin 7 in the keswick looks amazing! SX isn’t the best but for casual XC riding you can make do with it. It’s really the derailleur as the weak point and the shifter isn’t the greatest but it can work. I’d say just get it and upgrade the derailleur and other little parts as necessary
@@TalalipopMTB thanks a lot! My bike's getting delivered tomorrow and if needed I'll be replacing the derailleur and the shifter along the way! In the end, it's all about getting out there and enjoying the outdoors. Can't wait! :)
Congrats!! I’d recommend riding it as much as you can stock and just replace parts as they wear out. No reason to get rid of the derailleur or shifter right away if they works for a bit :D but up to you!
😎
What would you choose between this and the roscoe 6? And why? 🤔
They’re both great bikes, but I’d choose Roscoe 6 since it has a much better frame, and it’s actually a really good value for the money
Sweet! Thinking about trading in my Marlin 6 for this.
Nice!! The new frame is definitely a good upgrade
Nice how's the marlin 6? I'm thinking of buying it as my first mountain bike!
@@whyyouhaden1320 love it! Great for trails and as my (back) road trainer also.
Belki günün birinde ben de paramı denkleştirebilirsem ben de bu Marlin serisinin 5. Versiyonundan almak istiyorum. Ama çok pahalı. 😢😢😢
This for bahrain?
It's king 😂 I also have
Nice!!
Have you tested the x-caliber 9 or somebody here had it?Is there a difference on driving between this and the x-caliber 9? Aside from the components. Im considering the x-caliber 9 it cost 200€ more. What are your advice? Thanks
I’ve ridden both, the x cal is quicker and lighter (by around 3 pounds) so it’s better for going faster on the road or lighter trails, while the marlin is a bit more capable on rough stuff because of the more trail oriented geometry when compared to the cross country geometry of the x caliber. The components feel a lot nicer on the xcal for sure, but if we’re not considering those, then the frame on the marlin is better for mountain biking overall in my opinion.
When can we expect Procaliber 9.6 latest model to be released this year?
Not sure about that one, haven’t heard anything yet
@@TalalipopMTB if i am not wrong they were released in Aug last year, right?
Sweeeet
SIK..BRO..
What dropper post is that ??
TransX JD Dropper
Are these good bikes? I'm looking to get one
I’ve had my marlin8 a while now and it is a really good bike well made. but it does scratch easy with this colour scheme.
I’ve had this exact bike before and let’s just say it’s got a broken heart (I snapped it)
Did you send it in to trek they have a lifetime warrenty frame
@@0utdoorsae yeah but I bought a new bike so I wouldn’t break the other one and sold it it worked quite well actually
Lifetime warranty on the frame. Or did you drive over it?
Man I'm bummed! Just bought the Gen 2 like 2 weeks ago😢
It'll still be great
You probably at least got it on sale then!
@@mrdogz4380 For sure!
@@TalalipopMTB originally I didn't then when it did go on sale I reached out to them to price match the sale price!
Ok that’s good for sure. Would’ve been worse if you had to pay full since those gen 2 bikes feel overpriced now at the retail
What color is the trek letters? White or silver?
silver
Awesome. I just ordered the same bike!
Is it tubeless tires gna buy one today or tomorrow
Yeah it has tubeless tires and rims, comes with the inner tubes installed though so you would need to get tubeless sealant, tubeless valves, and rim tape to convert
@TalalipopMTB cheers any recommendations for where and which brand can pick them up, from my research iv been told its a really good bike
How tall are you in cm? Asking cuz i need to decide my size
Around 170cm
@@TalalipopMTB im 165cm and my inseam is about 70cm, what would be the right size for me (talking about marlin 6 gen 3)
I would honestly invest if they upped the travel to 120 mm and got ride of those shit ardent tires for Rekons
Luckily you are able to put a 120mm fork on the bike since Trek tested it with a 120mm to make sure it still rides well, but yeah getting it from the factory would be less of a hassle
Rich boy 😂
hpw did it cost ?
$1000
How much?
$1,299
Is it just size m or ml?
Medium
Price
Currently $1,299.99 USD!
27.5?
29” actually!
If u was to change something if change the colour
Still disappointed in the non boost front and rear hubs and the non tapered headtube. It heavily limits your upgrade options. Other brands have similarly priced bike with those simple features. At least this one has a dropper post I guess. I know you work at Trek but watch those seat stay welds, I just warrantied my 2021 marlin for those.
Ultimately the bike would cost more so for the beginners buying these bikes it's perfect for their abilities.
@@nyreppin1 well, if it's a true gen3, it shouldnt cost any more, Scott and other brands manage to do it for the same price.
@@AG-Consulting I guess you need to also take into consideration the lifetime warranty. Scott doesn't have one and the 970 is still $100 more expensive with its taper and boost.
a modern bike with such antiquated shit is comical lmao, trek isnt worth it unless you spend alot.
Buy me 1
My Marlin is way better than that😅
Dude why do you have so many bikes for?
Que linda unidad, lastima el equipamiento básico sram
