- This video is about comparing the GoPro Hero 9 vs other cameras that I own. I will be comparing it against the DJI Osmo Pocket gimbal, the Samsung S20 Ultra and for reference, a full-frame mirrorless camera - the Panasonic S1.
The comparison will be based on 3 criteria
1) Image Quality
2) Stabilisation
3) Low light performance.

Just note that the gopro and S20 also have electronic image stabilization, which could be added to the osmo+Mirrorless in post
Very good point. In this video i was trying to see which one has the best 'out of the box' stabilisation.
I'm with you... 9 will be my first gopro. Liked your comparation throught both models action cam and phone cam, as DSLR are other stuff! Nice... You'll have great views on this. Cheers...

Ultra won??
No clear winners. All depends on what you requre the camea for. If you have the money and are happy with the weight, go for the mirrorless camera, but the Ultra does a great job for what it is.
Osmo pocket and s20 ultra which better for cinematic(Taekwondo move and martial arts)/vlog/webcams
The osmo pocket 2 has been released, that may be a great choice for you. Although it all depends on where you want to place the camera. If you want it on your body during martial arts then the osmo pocket is too fragile and the S20 Ultra is too big. The GoPro is better suited for this use. The GoPro can be used as a webcam, not sure if the osmo can be used as a webcam yet. In terms of cinematic, if you set your shutter speed at twice the number of your frame rate (for example, 24fps = 1/50 shutter) then you have a great base for cinematic.

Why didn't you test at the highest resolution these devices are capable of?
4k 25/30? The hero 9 can do 5k and the ultra 20 can do 8k 24..
This was to get the fairest test. If I did different resolutions then there wouldnt be any consistency to the result. It would be like comparing apples to oranges.
@@BallysRealm I was thinking best of what they can be. Like doing speed tests on phones or cpus and lowering clock speeds. But I gotcha. Appreciate your videos.
