one qestion, i has a light setup done thank your for help, however, my underglow, can't be plugged up at same time, is there some adaptor so botht he lil quick releases can go into the power source, or do i need to figure out how to wire them all together?
I get most of my 1/10 bodies from cheap toysRus style cars. They often have light holes and even have lights in them. A good place look for cheap bodies is goowill thrift stores and yard sales. You can get them for $2-$5 bucks.
Good job I did the same on my car but i used a cellphone battery. idk if at that date buying a led system was more expensive than doing this, but now you can get a led system by 7$
enigmacstrike - FOR SURE! And with working turn signals, brake lights when you apply the brakes, and reverse lights when you go in reverse!! 👍👍 And for $7-10 if you can wait a month to 7 weeks to arrive from China, or $12-17 if you want it in a few days.
Is it named 7.4v and fully Charged more or is it all time 7,4v (bec) Up there i leave a comend for calculation. But If its 7,4v i would recommend 200 for White and 280 for Red or more.
500ohm are to high but save for your Led Take the max Volltage U can expect an minus 3,4 for White Led or minus 1,8 for Red. So usealy 6v bec - 3,4 = 2,6 : 0.02a = 130 Ohm or more For Red 210 or more 👍
Seriously - use shrink wrap! Seriously, WAAAAAAY back in 2011 (some people act like it's ancient history), there was STILL a better, safer way to do that. Seriously.
Hmm, Strange Video.. WTF is that Musik Playing in the backround? Why the Hell are you using 500ohm ? Just solder 2 LEDs in line and with most LEDs you are fine with a 7,2V NiMh or even a 2S Lipo. Why are you using a cheap Plastic Body? The way you did your lightning isn't a good way to do it. And PLEASE leave the Wire from the ESC alone! Your Resiver should have a third spot to connect a Bat-Pack. Just use a JST Male Plug there and you've got your power (5v or 6v, depending on your ESC).
Thanks for the tips! I would always use the female quick-disconnect on the power/ESC/receiver side so to not accidentally cause a short.
Thank you for making this video, very helpful
If you have a spare slot on your receiver i.e channel 3 just buy a jst connector and plug it in.....saves splicing into the wire.
Helps me out: www.amazon.com/shop/justvlad
Very detail way that beginners can also easily understand
