    I cannot comprehend the stupidity of some who downvote videos like these. I guess they just don't know how difficult and time consuming it is just to make a video, lest the skill and craftsmanship of the person onscreen. He explains everything like he's your best friend.

      Thanks James, we do put a lot of work into these videos. We hope they benefit most people, but obviously not all.

    After this video we had customers show us front light buckets using the same method. Actually they came out quite good.

    Actually since posting this, we've had customers follow this video to make front buckets also, and actually they've come out quite well. So with some effort, you can pull off front buckets also.

    Are the decals still applied? Do the lights shine through them or is it translucent red paint?

    • @MyTrickRC
      @MyTrickRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The LEDs will shin through the stickers. Be sure there is minimal, or no, pain behind the stickers.

    • @MyTrickRC
      @MyTrickRC  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's lexan. Left over from painting the clear body.

  • @johnsalt19

    What was that that u used to make the buckets from

    • @MyTrickRC

      When we painted the clear body, there was left over plastic. We used that to build the parts. You could use other cut sheet material. Even cardboard covered in tape can work.

      Hi Craig, sorry for the late replay. Yes, it's lexan left over from the body.

      No problem. This technique (in our video) works pretty good, I've seen quite a few people do it successfully.

    My only problem is that my rc shell is already painted and has decals on it.

      Sorry for late reply. Depends on what vehicle you're putting this into (car or truck). Our Off Road Attack Headlights will work and look good even if you'r body is pre-painted.
