@tarvoc746 That game looked super sus 🤨 I wish he had watched the replay, removed vision from himself, and watched the game from his opponent POV to see if his opponent was clicking into what should have been fog of war.
idk what harstem was doing he usually has such good calls. but he kept massing bc into mass stalker, he had so many of those bcs and they just sat at home while his opponent took free bases. his opponent literally built like 6 stargates to transition and harstem never saw them. he was harassing with teleport, instead of flying over and teleporting out. it's been a while since I saw a game this bad from him

25:24 what is the EXACT counter to that many end game air from protoss (i can't think of the name of that air unit but its basically air siege) expensive, slow, but LOOONG range and obliterates buildings. what is the precise counter to them other than making a ton of vikings? is it a combo of ghosts for EMP and BC or do Ravens counter them with that ability that disrupts them? idk. terran is my least played out of all 3 races. i played toss during BETA only and then most of WoL until I switched to Random due to the fact playing Random would give you icons (if you won) in the race you got PLUS random race. so you were playing for 2 icons instead of just one. i ended up in top division on beta as protoss since most maps were super small except maybe one or two which could easily be veto'd cept i left one open (the OG version of lost temple - i guess SC2's nod to wc3's lost temple idk) but they remade it a couple times in WoL. then there was that map that IdrA is FAMOUSLY trolled for leaving in a BIG TOURNAMENT because his enemy made mass hallucinated voidrays and instead of fighting it or just backing up until it ran out, he just left game and people trolled him for years - hell i think they still do. forgot name of map but i had SO MANY games on that map and I lost a LOT to proxy terran marauder + marauder slow upgrade as protoss. this was also back in WoL. tbh that was my favorite of the 3 simply due to how simple the match ups were... mirror match ups, map match ups, etc. and it took FOREVER for people to have a consistent answer for the protoss beta proxy 2 gate zealot rush that literally gave me rank 1 top division in beta with 80+ wins and maybe 9 losses or 11 losses max before retail released. and instantly got to top division using that strat as well as the 4 gate strat and the 3gate/immortal rush. since expo's were not practically REQUIRED every game. you had your one-base players or you had the people who began the "macro" play by expanding. if i recall, zergs did this the most in the beginning of WoL since zerg was weaker in a 1:1 base match up so they essentially HAD to have an expo to compete against the other 2 races. really disliked the zvz cuz if you tried to 10 pool back then and they held it, or if they blind countered it with banes, you were just boned.
tempest moves very slowly so it's weak to attacking in multiple places at once, or having counter attacks setup that you send in when the tempest ball shows up on your side of the map
hindsight and backseat gaming aside, imo Harstem needed to be more aggressive with his BCs to harass workers, and once the tempests started engaging near the end he really should've jumped into them, he was getting kited hard af while trying to get yamatos off. I still don't think he would've won that fight but he might've at least held it off. A bio ball with stim might've been better for dealing with the stalkers and later tempests than the tanks since there weren't all that many, but I donno.
Love how Harstem stayed committed to the all-in after defeating the other guy's proxy without taking damage, and seeing batteries in both bases. Felt like they were both trying hard to throw the game away for a bit there.
At 18:00 You worry what your response should be when they turtle against battlecruisers. I am nowhere near your level, but I think you sat your BCs at home doing nothing the whole game when their whole strong point is doing damage and teleporting out of danger/back home to defend. Even just yamato'ing stalkers whenever he's close
