"What should I do next. Should I get ghosts? I should get ghosts. Why did I not get ghosts? If I had ghosts this lack of marines would not have mattered. This game is really close! I really hate losing a long game!" - Harstems Seven Stages of Grief.

I just have to say it, I played a little bit of sc2 like well over a year and half ago, and that very casual stint of sc2 has led me to religiously watch Harstem and his antics of sc2 for the entire time and I see no end in sight unless he stopped uploading tomorrow. I love all these series and Harstem, you've just that entertaining and genuine. Love your game and vibe.

I definitely think the version where the proxy factory builds tanks and the factory from home builds cyclones is better. At 3 tanks you force the Protoss player to react because he can't sit back with batteries anymore. You get to that 3 tank number faster if the tech lab is proxied. The only benefit to proxying the cyclones is more cyclones, which doesn't really help you siege against shield batteries. It feels like you get enough cyclones from home to prevent the Protoss from walking up to your tanks already and that seems to be all you really need the cyclones for. You can even split the difference by building the factory at home first and then proxying the tank factory after so you get cyclones out on the map fast enough to respond to the Protoss' early units. This also has the added benefit of mind gaming the Protoss more. If I saw no barracks and then a normally timed factory in the main I would assume you either proxied the first barracks to get some early damage with a fast reaper, or you're trying to trick me with a fake proxy and your barracks is nearby and you're just going to fly it back after you build your reaper. I would not guess you're about to double factory all-in me. TL;DR: The tanks win the game while the cyclones just protect the tanks. Building the first factory at home=mind games and map control. Proxying the tank producing factory=faster tanks. Mind games+map control+faster tanks=more wins. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Edit: If you can't get enough cyclones this way to prevent the Protoss from eventually overwhelming your tanks, you can also try cutting workers after you saturate your main, building a 2nd proxied barracks after the proxied factory, and producing more marines. Marines without stim are actually really good early game when the Protoss has to attack into you and can't kite you which the tanks force him to do. Not sure if this is worth the minerals though or if it's just better to produce workers and eventually expand while attacking like you have been.
I am always impressed with Harstem's ability to remain optimistic in the face of obvious defeat. That last ZvT was done as soon as he didn't win with the tank push thru the middle and the first Ultra arrived.
the 2nd opponent scouted but i dont think he actually saw your factory because it was behind the bushes which couldve been why his response was a bit off
Played that whole damn game without concussive shells. It's 50 minerals and 50 gas. So many retreating ultras could have been sniped. Banelings could have been slowed down. It's totally worth the money.
Comment from the metal leagues: 31:16 looks like you have 7/8 libs, if in air attack, could that fight his clumped up 12 corrupters or still get deleted?
The 2 base armour of corruptors completely ruins the liberators damage. It's not like with phoenixes or mutas where an even amount of libs can trade decent, no reasonable amount of libs will beat corruptors.
In the first two games, why not just build the barracks in the wall, so it all looks fairly standard. The reaper will be a little late, but I think it’s worth it.
I believe that you get bored in a long game and start to think you shall lose. Just when opponent is in a just as bad position as you are after a battle.
That TvZ really demonstrates why I watch SC2, but don't play it anymore. Having adepts, oracles, reapers, liberators, banshees, phoenixes, medivac drops, and warp prisms as a threat at every single moment of the game makes it so tedious and annoying to play the game in anything but a mirror matchup.
Clickbait title... He proxy tank 1 of 3 games... I mean, I like watching harstem.... but this title is really clickbait if you are looking for new builds...

@@calvinc5770 It's from a game he played where his opponent proxied tanks against him. Very very old video.

Keep repair on autocast while you are pushing. It helps.
I haven't lost a SC game in the past decade as well.
"This game is chaotic and I kinda dig it. Oh I definitely dig it." Hard agree!
Watching those 3 oracles run into all the cyclones instead of just going across the map to kill Harstems mineral line was quite the surprise.
oracles don't win base trades
Oracles, notoriously good against cyclones

Harstem coming in with that radio baritone
he actually reminded me a little bit of bob ross until he started losing :D

For sure and cyclones get across the map faster than tanks do

Impeccable timing to have some cheese with my lunch. Cheers, mate.
I think the build order in the first game is better than the other one because cyclones are faster, they can regroup to your army quicker
You truly are the cheesiest of geniuses.
At the late game u can add hellbats, if they have +3 weapon, Coz they rly helps vs lings
That last game was an early quit.
ANOTHER great VIDEO, keep EM coming
Respect for a random Beatles soundtrack in the middle of a fight.

Agreed, but Ultras aren't affected by Concussive.

@Harstem What graphics settings is this exactly please?
Comment from the metal leagues: 31:16 looks like you have 7/8 libs, if in air attack, could that fight his clumped up 12 corrupters or still get deleted?
gets absolutely deleted, corruptor is the de-facto antiair and libs do almost no dmg
+ there's 16

You need something like 60 supplies before libs starts getting any headway in beating corruptors at similar supply.
Harstem is getting kinda good at terran. Lets go captain
Theres a high masters guy on EU named Hit who plays this crap a lot.. Very difficult to defend this

Does anyone know how Harstem usually figures out who these barcodes are? I’ve seen him do it before, I just don’t get it.

it IS getting more depressing per each episode of the CHEESIEST MAN ALIVE 😂
Don´t get high on your own supply harstem
So how is protoss supposed to stop this? Every Terran is doing this more, and no chance at stopping it
Either Terran is imba or harstem is imba

You don't GG back 😢
Put the name of the episode in the title PLEASE... Why did you stop? :(
Can someone link me a game over 20 mins that Harstem wins? 😏
