    4 days post-op today and just doing the neck exercises to try to stay loose. I’m so happy to see that this content exists at all. Trans folks are so often overlooked, it feels really nice to be seen and cared for

    I'm 1 week after surgery and I felt immediate relief when I finished the first set of neck exercises. Thank you so much!

    thank you for this! i've found exercises that will be helpful further down the line with recovery but haven't found much i can do in the first couple of weeks. i'm in my 2nd week of recovery and these stretches feel comfortable and safe to do without putting too much strain on my incisions

    I’ve definitely begun experiencing soreness from sleeping sitting exclusively-only a few days post op. Thank you for this resource! Doing the neck exercises, feels incredible.

    Thank you so much for this video! I’m only a week out of surgery and I could feel my neck getting tighter by the day. The neck stretches are helping so much even after just doing a few reps of each.

    4:08 6 months or 6 weeks? my surgeon and the sources I read said 6-8 weeks

      @Riverstonechiropractic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm seeing a trend towards 6 weeks. But for the past twenty or so years, it's been 6 months. 6 months is still posted on several prominent surgeon's websites (though one has a separate page for "people over 40 or with history of shoulder injury/stiffness" that explains the risks/benefits or restoring that full shoulder ROM sooner than later. Definitely go with what your own surgeon tells you though, since they know your medical history, injury history, and healing goals and they can advise you individually.
