That's literally the proper way to do it. There are a lot of fake hadiths, miss interpretations, miss quotations. Shia's have hadiths which aren't only weak narrations, but the chain of transmission itself is broken or unreliable. Always look up the hadith and research it instead of blindly believing because so many people try to insert their own beliefs. If a "hadith" contradicts the Quran, that's not an authentic hadith period... there are no ifs or buts or maybes. And no authentic hadith contradicts the Quran, but people will pass off their hadith and saying as authentic, so always ask them to reference and research.
The fact that you are trying to understand a hadith better when you are in doubt about it, that alone is good, being on the straight path is not something that any human can achieve overnight, it takes time, there are a lot of obstacles along the way but we can all make it in the end. Remember, it's okay to question a source and its validity because we're only human, we still have to learn our way through embracing them, I believe that the best scholars for determining the authenticity of a hadith would be Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, and the best scholars for interpreting what a Quran verse or an authentic hadeeth actually means would be the 4 madhabs, keep it up brother.
There is no such thing as a "second revelation," and prophetic traditions (Hadith) do not exist. Only the Quran is the truth, and it alone must be followed.
If you actually read the Quran you’d find allah says to obey him and obey the messenger no less than 40 times , in different contexts and in different wordings 2- Allah has commanded us to pray , to fast, to give zakat , to make hajj all in the Quran, now show me the verse where it says how when and how many prayers should we do, knowing full well that doing it wrong willingly is unacceptable, and a man who doesn’t pray is not Muslim so not only do you not have a leg to stand on, you don’t know how to stand if you did
Not from me, it's extremely hard for me to learn it as well. I make sure to know enough to be able to at least verify if what I'm reading is right (I use corpus Quran and lexicons) for that. I memorized only 3 suras in arabic but many in English. I recite the quran in English when I pray alone so I can be reminded what is expected of me. I listen to the quran in arabic with English translation for I can recognize the aya being recited when praying at the masjid. So that is for people like me. Those who are smarter and can learn the language should do so.
@@sividom thanks, i know 2 in arabic. Thats all. I just started couple of weeks ago. Someone is going to teach me salah. i do pray but yeah. I will learn insha Allah. I have faith
@@Dutchwheelchair Exactly, this is the new trend now, people don't put the effort of reading and researching themselves and getting advice, but "shitting" on other religions. You can have comparisons sure but people have made it into an arguing battle for entertainment strictly for views/money. Going to people who hate Islam, to learn about Islam is like going to Hitler and asking him to teach Judaism. So absurd. You see one video where they argue a point and get refuted, just to see another video making the same argument to another person who didn't have the knowledge to refute. And they play the dishonest probability to collect views on internet. Don't fall into the mind games of the internet and people brother. May Allah guide you to the truth and protect you from the distractions of the disbelievers.
Not only did you choose an ayah to mistranslate and misinterpret, you conveniently decided to ignore 40+ others where Allah explicitly tells you to follow and obey the prophet And before we get into beating around the bush, you obey someone by obeying what they tell you to do, and if they tell you to act like them then that’s what you’re ordered to do
Sallam Brother with respect, Why you think your subjective opinion should supersseed majority of muslim ummah. If you are not comfortable and have your own yard stick to pass or fail a hadith with your knowledge and understanding of Quran then you will be answerable to Allah for your choice, coz Quran say Obey Allah and follow Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Deen is simple my brother, you think its complex. Hit your prayers on time, do good deeds
Aleykum salaam. I have to disagree with you. The "scholars" that are silent on Palestine in Gulf countries are better to listen to? That simple situation is enough for me to know those who are unwilling to speak the truth. Their diploma is irrelevant at that point. I'm comfortable with my decisions. I'm comfortable with the understanding that prophet Muhammad wouldn't do or teach anything in contradiction to the Quran. I'm comfortable in my study of history and understanding of political climates that give rise to certain interpretation and texts. All of that has to be considered. One thing we do agree is that deen is simple. Except I'm not the one making it complex. I'm telling people use the Quran as furqan, others are telling them believe these volumes of books which you will never read and only PhD scholars can understand even when they contradict the Quran. So you tell me who is simple and who is complex. Lastly, I'm not the first to say these things. Many Muslims starting very early on said the same thing but they were silenced and murdered. So one needs to take that into consideration. Does truth use censorship and murder or does it stand on its own value?

I agree 100%!
As long as you yourself are qualified to make those distinctions then you're OK. As for those of us who are not, follow the scholars.

My advice is to watch Christian Prince. He's an Arab Christian and he made many Muslims leave islam by showing how silly the Qur'an is.
@@voi_16 nah, Things like that are a waste of time. Ive seen the other way around too. so things like that are silly.

Quran 45:6 prohibits Hadith by name.
No it's not
