We all know that the Ford Maverick is one of the best cars to ever be made but everything has its own pros and cons.
It has been dominating the market for a long time but there is a reason why Ford is upgrading it right? As much as we all love the current Maverick model, we need to know that this generation has to be up to date with the rest of the competition.
And that is a good thing, at least on paper. But this is also bad news for us for two main reasons. Watch till the end because, with the new upgrades, these new problems are coming.

I like the idea of a hybrid Maverick, but I have zero confidence in any of my local dealerships to work on this hybrid system. No confidence.

I have a 2024 Maverick XL and really like it. I have the Ecoboost engine and am averaging 28.2 miles per gallon. It has plenty of power and handles and drives very good. No problems after 3 and a half months and 2700 miles. I think Ford is doing a much better job with production and quality on the 2024 model.

Hybrid is no longer the base engine. It's an additional $1,500 due to high demand.

Just bought a 2024 XL Hybrid..... Averaging 42 mpg
Decent quality for the price.... Toyota Tacoma has much better quality..... But at a price I wasn't willing to pay
I didn't need a full size truck.... Just for a 30 mile daily commute and trips to the home centers / garden centers
I am also concerned about Local Ford dealers working on the Hybrid system

You got to be kidding me, it has more problems than a child in abusive parent relationship. Just because they sold a bunch of them doesn't make them a quality vehicle. They were first to market with a mini truck and that's why they sold so many. First rule of thumb when buying a car or truck Never buy the first year. 😂🤦‍♂️

No, actually they are really good. I have 2 of them and have done nothing but routine maintenance, amd they do get used. I tow, haul, amd run my tools daily with them. They are a cheap vehicle and don't have the best paint, but are very good for the money. You are comment straight out of your butt. Enjoy the hateraid.
