I just got a XL 2.0 Ecoboost with 8 speed transmission with the tow package with the spray bed an bed cover i went to ford dealer looking for a F-150 i ended up getting a great little truck at half the price of a F-150 it drives great gets good mileage at for two retired couple it just what we needed she can get into it not like our Accord its got tobs of storage the bed can handle just about any home owners cargo i am completely happy with it
I placed an order for the 2025 Lariat AWD hybrid. Yes, it's expensive but you get a lot for the money. I also got the 4k towing package that provides a transmission cooler, upgraded cooling fan, and conventional spare tire all for an extra $745.

Makes alot of sense buying the base model because then you can personalize it the way you want. My car has a lot of bells and whistles so I don’t need them in this. I’m nervous about hybrid though. The cost of repairs? Also finding a place that will work on it.
Hybrid motors are known for their durability and require minimal repairs when properly maintained. Compared to traditional engines, less wear and tear, leading to lower maintenance costs over time
Because the gas and electric motors share duty, they tend to last a long time. Brakes on hybrids even last longer because the regen system does some of the braking.

I am ordering the 2025 when it comes out in the XLT Tremor upgrade (if available). Lot of truck (even if it is smaller than a midsize) for the price in Canadian dollars and that is saying a lot.
I do like them however I have not seen one at that price for tue XL. Especially with a good color like red or cactus Grey or area 51 or that sand color.

@@dewdew34 I just sprayed my steelies with flat black rubber spray I am sure it called some thing else maybe plastic spray anyway they came out great I have the cactus grey XL I tinted the front windows the same as the rear windows factory tint bug shield rain shield around the windows an flat black Maverick lettering on the tail gate it looks great the flat black on the cactus grey beautiful
I'm gonna guess city worker/maintenance vehicles? I see lots of F-150's with "City of" emblems around my town but most could probably switch to Mavericks. Also I am not seeing part 2 and 3 anywhere. Perhaps I'm blind? 😁

Sorry about the late reply, friend! but as the comment above absolutely right, they look pretty similar except for the fabric depending on your appearance package.
We have been waiting on a XLT and Lariat to come in, once we get one here it is either XL or they get sold right away before we get a chance to film a review for em.
The only way you can order an XL is with a commercial order. None of the dealers will let you order in store and Ford won’t let you order online. Might as well not make this video.
That is incorrect, Where did you hear that? The website still lets you build your own 2024 Maverick. You can place an order without it needing to be a commercial one

They could use the hybrid to generate better lower toque and horsepower. They could do this without using a turbo.

Yes undercoating is never a bad idea! It'll save you in corrosion and rust damage in the long run.

The Maverick competes with the Hyundai Santa Cruz, not the Santa Fe.
I think the lower trim maverick is better than the lower trim Santa Cruz. However the Santa Cruze is better at the higher trim levels.
