they should add a special pole for fishing in the LAVA POOLS for special LAVE FISHES.
Additional tip: wobsters count as 1 fish. So if you can find a spot with a pond near a wobster den too, you can grab a sea fishing rod, add the beefalo wool night lure and whatever float as it makes it way faster to catch them, and combine 2 monster meat+ 1 wobster+1 regular fish to make surf and turfs all day. You can also add a trawler in the ocean if youre on an all seafood diet
All that's a little too out of the way for a video about ponds but yes, sure, you're right. 😅
Not trying to dismiss ya, friend, but if I dropped every tip I could for every little thing that called for it even slightly these videos would be never-ending and bloated.

It took me too many years to figure out that they could be trapped. I much prefer just putting a bunch of traps outside a ton of ponds now, once I have spare resources and time

I love the fish ponds I use the fish to make fish sticks and I use that as my main healing it's 40 a fish sticks
also to add wendy’s ‘abigail’ can murder at least 50 frogs (i counted the legs) before dying. Make sure she is on aggresive though.
I play Warly, so no matter what kind of fish I get, it’s gonna become a Moqueca
I get green ponds in the swamp occasionally for some reason

I'm honestly having trouble looking for the best location to make a base. I honestly like to be near the Pig King but I don't know if it's worth it since there are sticks near the ponds there. I'm a Wendy player and more of a pacifist than a hunter. Mr.Beard do you have any suggestions for which place best suits different players?
Still learning and don't want to make flingos to cover your base because you don't know how to get to the Moon Quay Island for easy gears nowdays? Oasis Desert.
Still learning and you do know how to make flingos and stuff? Oasis Desert anyways because it will save some headaches regardless.
Still want to base near the Pig King? Just make base away from the ponds. Moose/Goose and her moslings won't bother you unless you bother them.
Have a decent beefalo herd to protect from hound waves? Base near the savanna or in it but NOT too close to said beefalo.
Want ease of access to everything depending on how you generated a world (i.e Branches/Loops)? Make a portal base dead center, if applicable.
Don't base around ponds. They're good but not that good. Make it as easy on yourself as possible as you progress and learn more. Once you do, you can base anywhere.
