My thoughts exactly. Our childhoods were more enriching and connected. If only more people would take the plunge to get rid of it in this modern age. I had it between the ages of 19 - 31 and then deleted it. 35 years old now and life is so much more fulfilling.
Life is so much better without it. It's been almost 10 years since I have not any social media and have so much more time for our kids. Every time I tell people I don't have any of that they look at me weird ☺️ idc. Life is so much more that looking down all the time. Thank you for sharing
I know exactly what you mean about social media, everytime I go on it I feel more anxious, everytime I see hundreds of people you may know I become very insecure.
Hello, I deleted all social media afer watching your previous videos and had commented a question too which even you've answered. Here I'm back with another lil question. It was going nicely but all of sudden I started feeling lonely. I have no friends even in real or socaial media but I used to play and watch a lot of stuff. Now can I know how can I just fight against the loneliness cuz sometimes it's very hard to resist and I 😢 reinstalled the apps and then delete again...
Maybe as part of your goals you could start activities that make you branch out to meet new people? Having friends and family support is so important, I think this may be one of the most important aspects of deleting social media. Ultimately it’s your choice but i know this from my experience - I wouldn’t be able to make the change without support around me❤️ sending you love, I have your back🌟
I’m planning to live a life without social media, but isn’t TH-cam considered a social media platform? Yes, it is safer than others, but this doesn’t really fulfill the mindset we are advocating. A _real_ social media-absent life would be without it.
Yes 100%, I only used TH-cam for school purposes in the day. Although what I’ve discovered recently that people have a lot of create outlets like gardening, book club, etc.. and that’s where a lot of inner reflection and strategy is needed to decide whether your mental health status can push you to limit or delete social media😊
What you’re doing IS social media. You’re posting for everyone to see and comment. This is not a true free social media life you’re advocating. You can’t make videos for ppl to see and comment on and claim what you claim.
I am for this, I didn’t want to.. but I also want people to hear my experiences as it may be something they want to try for themselves. There’s a lot of misconceptions about it, I’m open to any suggestions

It's sad for me to hear the pain and anxiety so many feel through social media. Please live in the moment. Phones can't capture emotion. ❤
Glad to hear some younger people are clearing their heads...i didn't grow up with this nightmare.

You are still on TH-cam
Believe me when you make it to one year without platforms like Instargram you'll soon realized how much better off you are without it!
