    My advice:
    1. Starting over isn’t a bad thing; sometimes it’s just the thing you need in life
    2. It’s not that deep, let shit go, don’t take things so personally
    3. Make an effort for those who you truly care about and they will hopefully make an effort back

    • @Hoffmans.Slowedz.Audioz
      @Hoffmans.Slowedz.Audioz 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      1. Starting over is something I have to do on compulsion without a choice and it takes up a lot of time. But really, if the journey I’m on doesn’t go my way, I will just start over. If only I could start over everything, I’d start over 2023, greatest year of my life.
      2. I agree with 2 so much. It so god damn annoying when people don’t let it go, if I can’t get someone to let something go, I will leave them until they do. People need to stop taking things so damn personally.
      3. I do, otherwise I’d be an annoying npc

God loves u all so much1 God bless any prayer requests or any questions? God sent his only son to die for u so live for Him (not trying to force) Gods got u and is in ur corner always, fighting for u, and the best way for u to fight is on your knees, praying. Start with journaling, prayer, worship, turn off bad music, verses, living like the fruit of the spirit each day. Nobody is perfect except Jesus. It’s okay to make mistakes, we all do. Feel free to reach out and talk for anything. ask God for wisdom in every situation. God loves u and so do i. Have a blessed day friend. Some of my fav verses: Matthew 19:26, John 3:16, Isaiah 30:21. Pick 1 fruit of the spirit today, and practice and live by it in all areas. Invite God into your life, every aspect and area. Trust the story because you know the author. If there is any prayers I can pray for y'all pls lmk!
Jesus loves y'all all! I’m here if anyone has any prayer requests!
He will shine His light on you and your path and guide you and show you the way in His perfect plan and timing so trust Him and His good faithfulness, He and His love, mercy, and grace never fail! Amen surround us Lord!

Oh my god, this is like, so for real. So many times during the past couple years I was still up after 2 am and that’s when all the bad stuff happens. I got grounded for two months (don’t ask) at exactly 2:01 am, I lost the “love of my live” (I’m better off without that bastard) at 2:30, my favorite uncle died and I got THAT phone call at 2:05, and I failed (still don’t know how; was I tired or something?) a very important school test and got the message to retake it at, you guessed it, 2:02. And that’s why go to bed after 2 am, you won’t regret it,

When I was 16 I thought it was the end. I got help and started therapy. I promise if youre under 18 it gets better. It really does when you are an adult. The world changes and life opens up more as you get older. Be good to yourself and others. Every storm runs out of rain.
Also you are young and don't settle or tolerate bad behaviour from people. Do not tolerate a shitty partner or best friend because they are all you have. It is better to be alone than with bad company. You will grow and find people who will treat you better and align with you more. When you get that bad feeling you need to listen to it. ALso if your friends and parents do not like someone in your life they are usually right.

Being alone and being unhappy is an interesting question.
For me, I had friends, I had fun, I was happy 85% of the time because I was with them. But whenever I was allowed to really think about it, my relationships were shallow and wouldn’t last past graduation. I guess there was just this suspension of disbelief, between reality and keeping myself afloat. Believing that this was real and long lasting kept me alive, so it was okay for that short amount of time to wear rose-colored glasses. At least that’s what I think it was looking back from nineteen.

I'm at the point where things seem to be piling up. I'm 17 and starting to balance athletics, academics, work, relationships, and personal hobbies more than ever before, while keeping my outlook positive during the offseason for my sport. I believe I put I feel alone on your survey, but that I was/am happy as a teen. I would say this is because while there is no one who completely understands me, I have stepped more into my own, and the people I surround myself and actually talk to is a smaller group. however those relationships are more meaningful, and I am more content to work in silence and be alone if no one is going to be there for me.

@@user-ze8fr9wq1t I agree. Was there a specific thing that helped you move on, or a specific moment that made you realize it was time to move on?
I believe it can be a fine line between isolating yourself and putting yourself first sometimes. I've found a certain beauty in quiet moments, and a beauty in simple moments with those I care about.
I've become more at peace with me being on my journey, and become more at peace with not trying and force things to come to pass. Is it lonely? At times absolutely. But I've also realized that if you put your purpose and passion first, show genuine care are respect towards others, aren't afraid to mess up a few times, and respect yourself, then you'll come into contact with good people sooner or later.

    Points taken
    - Stop living on hope and be more present
Being a teen feels like molting caterpillars
A Really basic contrast but it makes sense
You are born devoid of any feeling , then you expose yourself to everything around you , wherein you accumulate a lot of feelings and thoughts
Then it gets so mentally tormenting -you distance yourself and find yourself away from everything
Trying to figure out what this feeling is
While going through these dark days , worried about what's ahead and left behind
All of this , just to reach the ultimatum where you finally figure out this feeling's
    Which ....sure does take time
You are reborn again as a new person
    LIFE'S BEAUTIFUL

As a 14 year old, coming out of childhood when you still act like a child and have childish interests has been externally hard for me. Ever since I was 8 years old I had this gigantic fear of growing up, I am still trying to figure out why I was and still am so afraid of it, but I just really suck at handling change. I don’t try and take things personally but sometimes I can’t help it and I get hurt easily, I’m just a sensitive person I guess. Change has just been one of those things that holds me back from so much in life but I wanted to say thanks for helping us kids out.

I think that Because of depression teenagers often neglect their academics, show signs of shyness and remain isolated from society from which their social life suffers a lot , so we should always help them at this age as friends , parents etc...

Entering my teens right now. I've got some childhood trauma, horrible mental health and puberty behind me. Getting a fresh start at a new school next year, and i think my teenage years might be some of the best years of my life. One of the rarest occasions, fulfillment, has been blooming in my life recently, i want to finally be happy and mentally stable. I'm getting closer to my family, i reunited with a friend last year, got a autism diagnosis and am finally starting to be more confident. It feels like my life is falling into place. I finally don't feel bullied, abandonded, insecure, neglected or pushed to the sidelines. I might still be lonely, but i'm used to it, loneliness was a part of my whole childhood.

This video couldn’t have come at a better time, for me. I’m nineteen years old, and the passing of time has always been something that’s scared me to my core. I don’t think I’m afraid of age, but I’m afraid of what comes with it. I turn 20 later this year, and I’ve truly.. been dreading it. My teenage years were not easy, and I think more than anybody, I can understand and empathize with people who feel- specifically- alone. I’ve gotten a lot of takes from the people in my life telling me that my twenties will be even harder than my teenage years. Obviously I can’t know what will happen, nobody can, but the anxiety and overthinking about it has made me paralyzed with fear. And that is THE worst thing you can do in the face of fear. Just yesterday night I was up, (past 2 am, I know I know-) but not on my phone, or on the internet.. I was stuck in my head. And the first video I see afterwards is a video about a man I’ve never even met, somehow.. making me feel just a little less alone. Even if he’s just stating factual information, I don’t know. It helped. I don’t claim to be some kind of emotional wizard, half the time I don’t even know WHAT I’m feeling, and I don’t know how to explain some of the emotional reactions I have to seemingly mundane things. But regardless, thanks for making this video. No, really. Thank you. It helped.

20 year old here! Let me tell you, I´m happier than I´ve been in a long while. I often look back to when i was 16-18 and go "damn, how the hell did I survive that?". It sounds dramatic, but my "teens" were geniunely a really bad time for me. I put teens between speech marks because surprisingly, now that im 20, it feels like im truly getting to "live my teen years". I finally have friends i can hang out with, I can finally enjoy doing what I like with much less pressure of people judging me. Time isn´t linear for many, and that´s fine, im tired of people pretending everyone´s experience is the same. Im tired of people saying "live your teen years", knowing damn well many of us just... can´t, or couldn´t, and acting as if there´ll never be a chance to be happy after 18. But there is! There´s many more opportunities to enjoy your life and be happy.

Maybe it's because I feel like I'm alone even though I know that I'm not, and now I know that I am not the only person to feel like this. I don't know. I suppose this video was comforting in a way. I truly appreciate that this wasn’t advice on the things people tell you not to do, like bullying, or staying away from relationships when you’re so young. And this was actually just how to treat yourself the right way, with respect for yourself, and that will naturally lead to you being a better person later in life, and to those around you. I heard a quote the other day: treat yourself how you would treat your child. You wouldn’t let your child go to bed at 2:00 am, or let them eat bad food, or make bad relationships. You would be kind to them and love them no matter what!

No one to talk to , no friends to hang out with and everything else, atleast when I am an adult I have the liberty to travel , hook up, achieve my goals and make my family proud. I am already tired of this world but I ll be busier and free in my adult life.

I'm still a teenager but one of the biggest pieces of advice anyone has ever given me is to put myself out there and to believe that you are good enough. I have trouble loving myself after years of being bullied but I've been getting better every day. You can never ever say the wrong thing to the right person. One mistake or chance cannot destroy your life. Only your negative mindset and acceptance of that failure can ruin things. That Dr. Seuss quote is super relevant. "Be who you are and say what you feel for those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." Tell that person you like them, sign up for that club, and work harder on the things you love. All this time is still going to pass whether you do something great or not. Either you're going to be 25 years old with the life you always wanted or 25 years old still waiting for things to happen.

Hey. I’m 17, and I searched for this video because I don’t want to waste my teenage years. I want to go out at night and hang out with friends and live my life like a movie and actually have memories I want to be proud of. All I am allowed to do right now is go to school and go home, occasionally a family event, but that’s it, because I’m a girl, and my moms afraid of anything happening. I’ve always heard “your life isn’t over when you’re a teenager”, but, the way you talked about it, the way you explained recently how I was feeling, it made me cry. To know that someone understands and that I’m not alone is like a small sliver of hope. Thank you.

I am a Teenager myself (just 14, in fact) and I just realised how good I feel. I dont feel alone, I am happy, I care about myself... but only after someone did it first. Luckily he started at 17 years old and I began to take care of myself - working out, journaling, being myself and doing what I love - at just 13. I am so thankful for that and this person. And the tips at the end are the thongs I am working on right now, like not overthnking and waiting patiently, being myself and stop caring about others. You guys can all do it, at any age

maybe the reason of us being alone doesn't translate to being unhappy is because for me, I have tons of people who care for me and those that I share alot of fun and precious memories with, but being vulnerable with them about be it my suffering or feelings is so hard, that I end up feeling that they won't truly understand it, making me feel alone at the end of the day. It's so cool to not care and be cold nowadays that opening up to anyone around you (parents wouldn't ever get it) about even the smallest things affect you or how deeply you feel, they don't resonate at all with it. ^^ One of the reason why I love the safe and comforting place you've created on the internet for so many of us.

As a 18 years old teenager, I think being alone doesn't mean you can't be happy. For me, feeling alone does not mean having no friends or you spent more time with yourself. I think this feeling of being alone comes from the fact: You are alone. No one can help. They can only give you advice. In the end, you are the one who makes the decision (for example, which relationships are worth the effort, what carrier is the right one for me, taking your exams).
For me personally, this means being alone. You grow into a person who is able to make decisions for yourself. Yes, it is hard. And I think every teen is afraid of the future, but this video helped to see beonde the age of 18~20 and relax a little. So, thanks. And for everyone who just entered their teens, my advice: put your phone away when you are out with your friends

Hi, I am 15. Going through a tough phase right now. Just teens things. But, after watching this video, I get to know that we are not alone. We all have to suffer at some point. As far as the loneliness is concerned, seeing my peers getting friends, hangouts, love things or what, I never feel I belong there. Nevertheless, with the passage of time I learn that of course we all are unique. I should be trying to fit in a bunch of something where I shouldn't be wasting my time. That's why I am addicted to be a happy loner right now. Besides, I am just average in everything. Not looker girl. This sucks. But, I have to live my life just the way I am. Still fighting. :)

As a teen, I’ve learned that there is a big difference between being alone and being lonely. And it might just have more to do with the connotation of being alone. It can be seen as a bad thing to be alone, but Ive learned that being alone can be peaceful. This might just be the introvert in me, but being alone helps me have time to regulate my thoughts and do some self reflection. However, too much alone time has affected me negatively. So, in moderation, being alone can be a good thing.

I'm a teenager, that a lot of people in my school look up to and come for advice, but I am not perfect, and I also have some problems I'm facing, it's kind of hard to set aside everything you are going through to comfort someone going through a fraction of what you're experiencing. I am trying to learn a bit of psychology, and be a good role model for all, so I hope everyone acknowledges that whoever you go to as your problem solver has problems to solve of their own.

I am a teen rn and the happiness x alone part kinda hit home because I realized I do feel alone not all the time but enough where it doesn't feel great but I learned that the solution for me at least is to be content with yourself as you are when you are alone its ok to be alone everyone is alone at some point and you don't always have to be doing something I think loneliness is just part of growing up and learning to live with that is part of it and instead of centering yourself around the idea that you are alone remembering that being alone isn't a defining trait idk i just feel like if you learn to accept being lonely as part of life then it helps you focus less on it and enjoy other aspects of life more

Nothing good ever happens after 2 AM. Life isn't over yet. You don't need to produce a perfect result right away, sometimes you just need to get it done. The best don't become the best with hope; A dream isn't good enough, action needs to be present. Stand up for yourself; Fight for what you believe in, especially if it affects you. Ask yourself how you are doing, talk to someone about it. Stop overthinking. Just be you and the right people will be in your life.

One piece of advice that i would give to every teenager out there and even me is that.... Be true to yourself.
I am at a point of my life where i am changing mentally, socially, academically and i know it. But this change is not so easy, all my friends fell out and i am alone. But that doesn't makes me miserable because as much as people hate to be "alone" ,being alone doesn't equates to being unhappy. Remember that, you have a right to live your life to the fullest no matter people are with you or not. And, Remember
"you being alone today does not means that you will remain alone forever. "

    my answer yo your question:
being alone doesn't mean that you're unhappy. why?
well, this is because happiness is always determined by your heart. its a Japanese quote I read in a book. its not about where you are or who you are or what you're doing that make you unhappy, its about what you make of it. I can't lie, I was once in a position where I felt like it couldn't get better but I realized that I was too drowned in the comfort of this struggling, and being happy felt like a privilege. taking time to learn things about yourself, understand yourself, LOVE yourself is extremely important. for me, i think the meaning of life is enjoying it. am i saying that once you work on yourself you won't have bad days? no. am I saying that you'll never feel like you can't do it anymore? no. what i'm simply saying is to find happiness in YOURSELF. because at the end of the day, you'll only have yourself. i've made some big, BIG mistakes in my life but was it the end of the world? no, instead they were the beginning of a journey.
I think you get the message now. I'm proud to say that i have found happiness at the age of 16, and until i turn 18, i know it will stay the same.
I'm turning 17 this year, and I know the goals i have for myself are in my grasp :)

I'm 15 too. Just before you go to sleep at night just visualize the best version of yourself. Imagine how you want your life to look like in the present moment and fall asleep to that. Script all your goals and desires and script it as if you are that best version of yourself and read it. As time goes by you will see the shift in your reality.
Good luck my friend may you succeed in life. 😊💯👌💖

this is one of the most recommended videos on yt for me, like everytime I open yt, this video's there, and i deliberately skip it but today, gave it a go! and thank god i watched it! as a teen who's trying to figure out their career path, interests, life etc, this video is absolutely soothing! especially the feeling that everything will be fine! you will be fine! just go on! thank you!
    my takeaways:
nothing good ever happens after 2am, just go to bed!!
life isn't over till its over
    set goals and act!
stand up for yourself, because don't expect anyone to think about you when you are not thinking about yourself
    being hygenic is very important
keep a check of yourself, ask yourself how are you and just understand yourself.
    be you!
don't overthink, because overthinking about future problems runis your present peace
    joey bro! thanks a ton!
(just for the record, your channel's name is Joey KIDNEY and my friends asked for my kidney to go to bts concert! just saying, universe is connected haha)

I really needed to hear the set goals for yourself. I always dreamt of becoming a musician and ofc I still do, but now I realized it's mostly just hope and the effort i'm putting in right now is nearly not enough if I actually want to succeed. I know I have talent and passion which i'm already proud of but I really need to start to build my career path, put my music out there, write a plan for myself, practice more guitar/singing, and just stay consistent because it's clear now that writing songs that I forget about in a week then not picking up my guitar for 2 is just not gonna be enough. so thank you :)

I'll answer the last question you asked. For me, at times, I'm happy, it could be because I accomplished something, or am genuinely in a good mood a day, but am alone as my parents work, and I don't have friends. I don't go out, but I have hobbies and interests so that's kind of why :)

1:32 Its funny because im 15 now, soon 16, and i feel like my life is so much more together than 7th grade, the age that i thought my life was falling apart and over. That was the worst year of my life and i had so much shit going on- but now im getting ready for a career path and starting in (norwegian) highschool soon. (We start in 11th grade) I have just enough independence as i want and need right now and go out to concerts and things with my sister often. Im in a theatre course on top of the fact im gonna study it at high school soon, and im starting a class on making music soon, where hopefully i can talk to other music lovers and make music together or start a band. I feel like im finally putting myself out there and im finally finding myself as well. Ive starting not giving into the little trends or things that others my age follow so closely, and ive never felt more free. For example, somehow wearing the clothes i actually like and getting picked on for it rather than wearing the clothes everyone else is wearing is SO much more comfortable. I just feel on top right now, even though i still struggle so much with my anxiety. Because even though there is bad and there will always be, all the good just out weighs it and im very satisfied with life right now ♡

I'm 14, turning 15 in under a month. I didn't fill out the original pole, but I know my answer to the follow up you had. From a young age I found it difficult to make friends, so quite frankly, I've adjusted and adapted. I've always been really aware of what goes on around me, which is why I haven't gone crazy. Yet. I've always been very matter of fact about things, which makes it difficult to sympathize with people and thus make friends. Studying philosophy definitely hasn't helped either. It's easy to say I don't have much in common with my peers, and I've learned to accept that.
Also, just wanted to add, the point about perfection hit me like a brick from a five story building. I've always learned to do my best in everything. It's led to a few breakdowns because I can't bring myself to start something I know I can't do well. I recently had to write an essay and I couldn't find a topic that fit within the guidelines. I normally write about wars, battles, leaders, music, or other nerdy junk like that, but those didn't fit within the guidelines. The minute that I found a topic that I was interested in and fit the guidelines, I got to writing and wrote abt 600 words in easily 45 minutes being hand written. Perfection is one of the few things that holds me back majorly. I generally have an unbelievable willpower to do things I find meaning in, but if I can't find the meaning in things that aren't meant to be meaningful, I can't usually bring myself to do it

Thank you so much for this video! I'm 16 right now and I could really relate to you. I'm having a little hard time finding my place in life right now but after this I'm pretty sure everything will become better. Love is an issue for me as well. I've never had a girlfriend and I'm really craving one right now. But maybe this isn't the right approach for this. Recently I found myself really frustrated about love but maybe I just need to patiently wait a little longer.

Im 17, the most confusing age as a teen as I'm seeing in the comments. I was crying yesterday because i turn 18 soon and ive done nothing that the teenagers do as if I've never truly experienced teenage. I wish i hadn't lost my teens fighting my mental and physical health I wish i stopped worrying for a while and just live. You're a teen only once. I wish i was as social as other are but i just want to be content with my life which seems impossible. Im tired, but im only 17.

I am still a teenager, but I have learnt all these life lessons, some by experience and some by questioning myself as to what is right. All of this is completely true and does make your life as a teen better. But just 1 year back I was feeling that my life is over because of the pressure of college entrance I will have to give this year.
