I am SO glad I found you! You offer really good suggestions. What I truly appreciate is your honesty. In 1 video you showed your skin after losing so much weight. That was so helpful for me. I’m your height so for me it was a great visual. And you didn’t have to do that. I’m making all my lists and following what you suggest. Thank you!😊

hi - i had my surgery 4 days ago - prob in the same hospital as you, and prob with the same bariatric practice. i live four hours away from you, in a town i call the M-word - if you know, you know! (it's so crazy here). i watched all your videos before i left, along with multitudes of others and i must say, i was incredibly prepared. yes, i brought things i didn't need, but not many. and they wouldn't let me use my heating pad that i got on your recommendation - b/c of potential fire hazard! so they brought me one of theirs. honestly, the only thing i found i really needed was chapstick and my phone. i let personal hygiene slide, and was totally ok with that. also, i was hooked up to so many machines it was a bit of a nightmare to get up! but the care i got was truly incredible - i wanted to take my nursing staff home with me! and the four hour ride home, while not the most comfortable, was really not so bad b/c of that pillow and a binder. and what a beautiful fall day - love the weather here in oct in our state. i live alone - am trying to walk and take care of my cat, but i'm still pretty pooped on this day 4 post op, so i'm just resting and napping and watching the occasional youtube. thanks for all your help! cheers from libby

I get an itchy back too. I have one of those (purple) I keep in my desk drawer. It was leftover from that pack I bought for Father's Day gifts one year.

I regret relying on convenience foods again. I had gotten into a good habit of meal prepping and then let it fall by the wayside. Trying to get back into that habit but it's so hard.
