About the beta rewards, it has been said by a ubisoft Employee in the SnB community discord that participation in world events, some like the cuttroath cargo, fang of fara and the convoys also count, so you don't need to have finished them to get the skin rewards
the rewards are not worth anything if everyone have them. They should have special rewards for completing world events
This isn't a pirate game, it's just generic ship cutscene gameplay. No sword fight, no flintlock. You are the ship arcade game.
Shame... I was expecting a BlackFlag upgrade but we got a downgrade. This game reeks cash grab game mechanic after many many delays after.

Finally, a positive video on Skull and Bones. Yeah I was sad we had a 6 hour time limit, I had to skip a lot of the quest dialogue so it was easy to get lost in the objectives, overall I had a great time with the Beta, it made me wanting more.

Aye some good points. That PvP exploit of having another ship barge while not officially engaged is a messy one. Theyll need to do something to sort that out for sure. Do you think the time limit might be because the core game loop is too short and theyre worried people would finish everything if they had longer ? It struck me it may have been a way to mask a possible longevity issue even with end game in mind. Will keep an eye come February but wont be a day 1 for me.
I agree with you mate, we didn't get enough time to play and the tutorials plus objects weren't very clear. But the game is pretty good, just needs to be adjusted and sorted

It is seriously nice to hear someone talk about what is wrong with the game, without going off on damn tangents about how SoT or Black Flag is 'better'. That is what most comments are these days and I'm sick of seeing it. I am actually looking forward to the release, hopefully, and I do hope the devs put it the work to keep improving the game. They HAVE something here, they just have to keep at it!
They had, and black flag IS a better pirate game, while not being a pirate game... SoT is a completely different cup of tea.

@@martinklouda3715 Oh agreed. Based on both Black Flag is just better. Though I think the customizability of SaB is better. My issue lies in people taking SP mechanics and trying to shove it into an MP game.
The 6 hour beta was a tease. It was long enough for people to get a taste for it, all while being disquised as a beta. This is why when your time has ended, you're met with a preorder screen that takes you to preorder the game.
My time with the beta was good though. I enjoyed the sailing and combat mechanics, the game is beautiful and the storms are amazing. The graphics on my PS5 running on fidelity mode is amazing! I think people who said the game looks like clay or foliage on islands looked terrible have a bad setup. No crashes was nice too. I only wished i had longer, but thats why i believe it was a tease to get more preorders.
We're less than 2 months from launch, at this point, their priority is to fix any game breaking bugs and what we saw is what we'll get at launch, unless they delay again which i doubt. My only gripe is the audio can sometimes sound terrible. Like, the voices sound drowned out, there wasn't an option to set audio settings to headphones, maybe thats why it sounded bad... I'd love to know of any issues people had with the beta other than the 2 repeated concerns "no on foot combat or ship boarding combat"
All in all, I plan on getting the premium edition.
I've already had the Premium edition preordered when it went up for sale from the last time. My main issue is just the PvP servers, like others in the community.
But, here's hoping Ubisoft deliver it for February 🥹
I was so lost in trying to follow three different treasure maps. I was wasting precious time so I gave up. If the treasure areas were in on foot areas only I didn't know. I was also looking while in my ship.

This game is alright, that’s the key word, ALRIGHT. The game is NOT worth full price, especially when they are gonna try to milk every penny out of its players with micro transactions.
Thats what i said in another post and got blown up for it...i played the beta..i didn't hate it...its just a mid game is all,5/10 maybe 6/10 if u like pirates and sailing
If the game was $30-$40 I’d have pre ordered without hesitation but at the asking price I must wait for release to go smoothly lol
@@fnggaming89yeah 6/10 is the score I gave it after playing the beta. I found the gameplay fun for the first 4 hours but after that it’s just too repetitive and boring.
They really need PVP Servers at launch. I really want to support this game, but no PVP Servers will be a deal breaker.
It does have online battling already
I think this game should be priced around 20 at max not 70. Imagine you pay almost the same for this mobile game and Dragon's Dogma 2 😁 i know which one I'll choose.
Don't get me wrong also, I was waiting for this game for a long time but after playing the beta i think I'll wait few months more so the price is adjusted correctly
Soooo after how ever many years this game had been put back promising the best pirate experience black flag is still far superior 😂 why can’t I drop anchor and swim when ever I fancy a dip in the ocean
I hate how so many games have PvP now.
Fortunately, you don't have to partake in any PvP if you don't want to :). But, I think Skull and Bones needs to definitely bring back the PvP servers for those who want to do itm
While I empathize with that, I've wanted a pirate game with good PVP forever and it seems this is yet another one where it's an afterthought the developers want to punish you for enjoying...
I felt so lost in the game.... and the Farming for resourses OMG...... Mobile mini game and they shoud add pvp on land.... not only on sea( my personal Opinion).
I never did resource grinding after I got my first ship and still got all the way to the Padewakang just through pirating and plundering settlements. Maybe you just spent too much time on resource grinding without realising that its completely unnecessary...

pvp sucks. toss it, or make it like for honor. pvp being catered to in mmo's ruins games. the pve'ers leave. the pvp will complain they are bored after pvp'ing the same peoples over and over, and will leave. then dead game. every time.
Or just you know let people who don’t like pvp go into their own servers since they have no say whatsoever in how other people enjoy a game
