One thing you should mention. People should not take every food they find. i did that casue i thought, you can never have enough food. And later found out that every different food got its own slot. and this mean you lose spcae for other things. So i concentrate to focus on just like 2-3 different things to eat. Another things is, people should not sell everything. I realised luckily early that nearly everything you find is needed for Jobs/Missions later, or to build. Sorry my english sucks. Anyway. Your Videos are good and helpfull
Looting ships along those supply lines to a settlement that sells it, the ship usually carry more of that item. Such as Shellac. You buy one shellac, off a ship you can get five.
Besides the good points @Plexpara made you can travel along the map using bounties, pick the closest to the port you want to sail to and ignore the bounty all along (it always teleport you far enough not to engage). Saves a lot of time
You make the best tips and beginner guides . Your get powerful early video made me start playing again I kept getting sunken every time I sailed out it was super annoying. But now I’m really liking it
You can collect ammunition for free. I have over 600 oil cannisters just from collecting them. I have well over a 1000 cannon round just from collecting them for free when I'm running around those outposts.
Good tips and good to know i have been following these already:)The only thing i find kind of useless (at least so far in my gameplay) is you never really have to craft ammo or the basic repair kits after very early game. almost every shipwreck will have at least 1 repair kit...same with sinking ships. They always have ammo that drops too. Example, i have never crafted a bombard bomb ammo crate but have max number of bombard bombs. Same with mortar ammo. I just recently unlocked/crafted my first mortar and already have hundreds of rounds of ammo stocked up. Definitely good advise to at least get the blueprints and keep a solid stock of those materials. I always have that in my warehouse just in case!
Ahoy matey, cool video had a few little tips I wasn’t aware of! Nice and straight to the point 👊🏼 Enjoying the game a lot more than I thought I Wallis also
HI. Thanks for the tips. I briefly saw bitterballen and now I HAVE to play this game!! JUst to cook and eat bitterballen. Oh yeah, and because my ancestors were sailing on the VOC who helped colonize a lot of Dutch East Indies and part of Africa/Asia. I believe you can have quests to fight them...
I don't think you mentioned that you can mine or harvest the raw materials then refine them at the refineries at St. Anne or Telok Penjarah. It costs money to refine but cheaper than buying from trading post. To find the raw materials to harvest, look for a trading post that has the refined version then look around the map in that region at highest magnification. You will see icons for the raw material along the waters edge.
What is the "death mark"? I've been "marked for death" in the game but I don't know what I did and I would usually get killed in a battle with rogues but that happens from time to time so I really didn't think anything about it
I bought it in the store with the square gold currency. I had 500 of it from the premium edition of the game Or if you just meant the ship, its the Brigantine
Can you please help me with the interaction thingy because when I go to raid the settlements and all, I need friends/allies and I am not able to communicate with them
Yeah sometimes no one helps, or they are far away still. It only lets them know that you need help, they'd still have to sail across the map to get there if they wanted. Its usually easier if other players are already nearby
hi quick question, what the hell do restoration kits do? i have tried using them for heaps of things in all situations and it says action not available.
It's when enemies tear your sails (stops you from moving), sets you to burning or flooding which causes damage over time. Restoration kit fixes that immediately
Press the edit button after opening the action wheel to move whatever food you want to the hot bar. Then you press right or left or whatever you assigned while sailing to use it
So do you get to rome around and scavenge or do you just get close to an area and a list pops up lol. I feel like this game isnt what it should've been
I think the issue is that it's not what you wanted it to be. They are not competing with Sea of Thieves style games. Skull & Bones is more like the World of Warships game but with a spinoff on questing and harvesting like New World had.
I’m pissed at myself 4 paying full price 4 this game but I jus couldn’t stop myself anymore so I jus got it.. Ive actually been having fun with it it has kept my attention going so far but yup it’s the bare bones min n I was expecting black flag on meth like everyone else n got black flag in withdrawals instead 🤷🏽♀️
This game focuses more on the world of warships type gameplay, boarding is not necessary. Even if you could board, people would only do it a few times and then never again because its too slow and your ship gets attacked in real time while you're doing this.
@@thatswinelord9155 It could 100% use a lot more touch up and additions, I've been enjoying the game myself but I do see a couple flaws in the gameplay loop that don't work for me. I'm not entirely sure they know what game they want this to be either.

Yeah you get lots of food and should store most of it in the warehouse
Good tip! Love how much there is to do in this game, made the mistake of sailing to the Dutch were (still a buc) and man do I have a long way to go
i buy every food item i come across. i store it in my warehouse, but i go through food quick since i don’t fast travel.
Best video in the entire history of TH-cam skull and Bones
Thanks 😊

It's faster to craft them from the materials you get from shipwrecks but yeah there are a few ammo crates on outposts
Thank you i just started playing the game and you have the best tips so far😊
Glad to hear it!
Thank you,I just started playing and your Guides are Very helpful and informative 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅
Glad you like them thank you!

Yeah that's true I also have a ton of ammo and I love to shoot at everything lol
right now iam max ship level and fighting a bastion or sth easily shreds down ~500+ canonballs so you'll get to the point where u really need the ammo
Good to know!

Thanks for this helpful information video. Appreciate it, I love this game!!
You're welcome
I have only about 10 hours into the game. Seems fun so far. I am just curious what the end game is gonna look like.
Mostly helm orders and managing the empire. Making a video on it right now
What is the "death mark"? I've been "marked for death" in the game but I don't know what I did and I would usually get killed in a battle with rogues but that happens from time to time so I really didn't think anything about it
It's when you do the helm missions or when you have the pieces of 8

@@ConCon thanks
i have cooked food but when i open the wheel to eat food its greyed out, i can eat food on land but on the ship

What tony said should help, let us know if it did
Got it on discount $27 is worth the money
Good video... thanks!

Thanks man just bought it today 😊
Enjoy
Very cool thnx :)
No problem!
Hi , that was my ship you crashed into. 😢
Hahaha is it though?
Where you can buy cannonballs?
Blacksmith can craft them, or you can buy them with silver from merchants at outposts or the hawker at dens
@@ConCon ok. Ty. when i coded cannonballs it doesnt give option to buy them, only to look for metal salvages.
@@Kingggmann farm shipwrecks, using gives a few crates of 10 everytime

Its more like world of warships mixed with new world.
Why the hell do we have stamina on a ship? Lol
It's your crews stamina not the ships. Lol
Its the stamina of the crew when you trim the sails, they have to pull hard on the ropes for long.
Top tip, if you uninstall the game you will never have to play this garbage again
Lol
This game isn't worth the price tag it's just a boring bare bones version of black flags ship combat without the fun parts like boarding
