I think Ubisoft kind of listened to fans for a change, yes the collectathon is still there but now we don’t need to search for it instead just turn on where to go. Tiny step but an actual step from them

Oh also, if you want to have big groups in the game with the max cap of 3, just invite someone, have them leave and invite more mates. We were running 4 crews last night hitting forts and stuff

You don't have to actually run to your ship to embark, just hold the button and you can access your ship or set sail from anywhere

I know from right off the bat when the beta came and went, a lot of mean criticism went towards this title, but what those viewers are not seeing is the possible growth and potential that this game can still have.
I know there are just a few missing aspects especially from what AC 4: Black Flag had, but maybe with enough positive feedback and dedication, who knows? Maybe the developers can polish the scale of this game to be extraordinary. With of course lots of open time (no harsh deadlines) and open-minded thinking as to what can be possible.
You're welcome, the game is fun to play for me and that's all that matters. It does have lots of potential to grow and I hope they do
A big problem with that reasoning is that we're not talking about a $30-40€ small studio early access title. But we're talking about a $70-90€ international AAA-studio title.
Yes, the game does have a ton of potential, but when you're paying in excess of 70 bucks you'd at least expect the bare basics to be there and functional.
And not play the equivalent of a buggy early access release that freezes on you as often as it works. =(
Which isn't even getting started on the inevitable microtransaction train they'll be forcing through the pipeline. Those servers don't pay for themselves and with the entire game being online that's a hefty bill they chose to engage. Expect most of the revenue to go to paying for the server bills, generating monetizable content and exec/shareholder bonuses. Not to developing new content or polishing what is there. =( =( =(
@@danjal87nl I've got more than 25 hrs into this and have not had one freeze/crash, if you're trying to play a AAA title on a pc from 2005 then you're playing the wrong games.
I play only fighting games ( check my channel ) And i love this game as a side-game to chill and do stuff in, it's great!

I recently switched to the Snow from the bombardier. It lives up to the name, I’ve been bullying
the settlements and other ships up to level eight ( my ship is eight and a half? lol)

I love the hullbreaker, but I really want that pyro ship just cause of its ability to put others ablaze if one already is in a radius. Currently have all bombards on my ship and it's great!

I like the snow. With the food bugf and the extra brace, the ship is almost invincible

@@Jorary209 yea, but farming for the teeth is a pain. Just recently found out how to re aquire the mission.

How do you reset the mission?
Remember you can always steal the cargo from enemy fights just don’t fire on the winner during the fight if your trying to speed it up slowly

Try the Co op merchant world event convoys. Much easier than doing forts
Not sure if it's a glitch or what, but certain missions like helm or public events, I end up getting more then double the materials for the contracts. I got almost 50 springs and other rare loot. I did a helm mission for 96 sugar cane and ended up getting over 500.
What is that red eye icon underneath your health bar in the beginning of the video?

I wonder if more people have been running into performance issues since the game went live.
During the beta segment performance was all-in-all pretty good, though limited content was available.
Then during the 3 day early access performance started to hitch, most notably you'd occasionally be at an outpost and nothing would respond.
Can't leave, can't interact with anything etc. So you had to relog. (Which means if you just got sunk, bye bye items...) Have since had the same issue with the Helm smuggler outposts that just won't respond which is great if you're trying to do something with them and the game spawns a bunch of rogue pirates on top of you if you so much as think about relogging to wake it up.
These issues got even worse on launch day - a clear indication that as per usual a big studio is not prepared to handle the online infrastructure for the game they for no real reason FORCED to be fully online. (Easy fix on their part, make an offline/online optional and/or instanced client side version to reduce the load.)
If we then look at the severely limited gear and ships available and seeing them trickle in new additions. It very much gives off the vibe that this game is still very much in development and they're just pushing shit out as people churn through the content. With the devs trying to keep up with players progressing at faster rates than they had hoped. Which of course also has never happened in gaming history >_>;;;;;
I haven't experienced those, only one bug which is the helm mark expired notification showing up 10 times in a row
Also, if your boat runs out of stamina. Just get more electrolytes 😂

When you have planks and ship building materials in the warehouse. When you goto say the ship right. Does it take into account the materials in the warehouse or do you have to have them on the cargo hold?
It will count the warehouse items yes
It will register in either inventory on the Den
But does the ship level even affect anything, or is it just basically a sum of how good my cannons, armor and furniture are?
Pretty much a sum of how high level your stuff is.
Is there a benefit to boarding a ship during battle versus spendng ammo and resources to sink them ?...🌿🌿🌿
Sometimes you get bonus loot. Its usually not that much and its faster to sink more ships instead of boarding
Join the public events and calls for help. Or just equip your ship with all bombards to get to lvl 11
You still need good weapons though unless you're playing support

If you sink, do you lose your ship for good and have to get it again? Do you lose your cannon and furniture too? Or just the loot/cargo that you happened to be carrying? And do you lose your silver you are carrying? I am a bit worried by taking on higher ranked ships in case I lose it all and it's not worth getting into the fight over a few extra resources.
When you sink you get a debuff of sorts that you need to use a restoration kit for. You will lose all items in cargo but other than that nothing else that I have noticed. You can get your cargo back if you get to where you sank before someone grabs it. It does bare to mention though if you sink again before getting your cargo holds items back then they will be lost if I understood correctly.

I haven't tried yet but I'm wondering, if you die twice, do you lose EVERYTHING including cannons, armour, furniture etc you've saved for and built and put on your ship? Or just the contents of your inventory (cannonballs, food, etc)? I know you can go and get your stuff back if you die once, but you do seem to keep your cannons and ship stuff then. But if it does happen twice, do you keep it then too?? I'm too scared to even try testing it because of how long it took to save for my cannons haha. Maybe I could try it with the worst cannons I have and see.
You don't lose your ship, armor, cannons, furniture, ammo or repair kits. Everything else in your CARGO drops though

Plundering is the main way get my resources and also join others plundering as well
Main story quest and then working on getting these ships in the video to get a brigantine as fast as possible

actually didn't mention on how to level up infamy fast at all....only upgrading weapon to increase ship rank....
Do the main story and sink every ship (low level is better since you can sink them faster) as most ships give 50 infamy for sinking them, even level 1 ships that you can one shot.

Crashing the front of your ship into another ship is ramming
After the short intro, I entered Sainte-Anne with a fist full of materials. Only needing to go harvest some Acacia wood. Once figured out you have to search beyond the map market, I brought my haul back to within about 100m of the safe zone only to be sunken by huge ships, sailing as a pair. Who then spawn trapped me to stop me retrieving them… so it’s either this video becomes salvation or the Beta gets deleted.

It’s almost like your ship is a person leveling up independently of you. Level 5 ship with a bunch of gold armor now you’re a level 8.

why is the brigantine beter, you only show us the psotive things. lets talk us also about the negative things. much less hull , brace strength and cargo, that a 3 things much lesser then the ship before the snow shoup. have you test the different between it? attack ship vs. defense ship? more dps and ram better then the hihgher defense of have hull, brace and cargo?
Because it's faster, the world is big and you have to travel far, fast ships means you get everywhere faster, brigantine is also great for ramming enemy ships. Hulk is a tanky ship, bombardier is a long range explosion fighter with a big cargo. You can pick what you like but I like the speed of traveling 25% faster than the other ships
Hi former Sea of Theavs top 3 on controller is this game really better. Because when Sea Of Theve had quick swap It was the best game.
It's a very different game to be honest, this is more like world of warships mixed with new world

I think it's fun, I liked world of warships and the grind reminds me of new world.
They will eventually give in and start playing it. By that time all of us that did not complain will be much stronger than them and won't be threatened by their toxicity. Probably even one hit their boat lol.

Do you ever have a Problem doing ur mission then Suddenly out of no where there's two reapers ships attacking you for no reason at all When i first jumped on the game The options told me. Would you like to play friendly fire meaning? No shooting at each say that's bullshit
Do you have any helm order quests or any pieces of eight in your cargo? That's what prompt them to spawn and attack you. There was a bug where they would spawn anyway but I believe they said they fixed that a day or 2 ago

you can go trade role to a certain extent, but to get enough lime you are gonna have to sink ships. lime is stupidly scarce and so far I have only found it in one place to buy. and wth is with the torpedoes? in a pirate game? the tracking isn't always accurate either.
Torpedoes was weird for me too hahaha, they really got inspired by World of Warships gameplay mechanics

What's the issue with the torsion spring? I have one in my cargo and I have no idea where it came from.
@@noice_toast3308 The game is fair up until you want tier 5 stuff. Then everything is locked behind stuff you can't get solo. Try getting torsion springs on your own, you'll see.
Imo they should take out the "on foot" mechanic and make everything work from the boat... I think the game would be far better, the problem is the community is a bunch of crying babies that just have to get what they ask for.
They want sea of thieves but don't realize that this is a world of warships/new world kinda game.

Brigantine is harder to get. You need to fight level 10 ships for brigantine, you only need to fight level 7 ships for bombardier
