I love to play "what will Joc pick" when you are looking through the cases. I score around 90%. There were a couple animals I thought you would take that you didn't but I guessed right on the rest! I really need to get out more lol.
What a great store! I didn't realize I had my face so close to the computer screen trying to see everything in the cabinets 😂 SO MUCH TO SEE! Great video and some adorable finds!
My mom called those little things "knick knacks" and she has hundreds of them. Who would have thought back then that they would be worth anything? That was fun just watching your enthusiasm.
I grew up with a cookie jar that was like the cat creamer. I have since purchased a creamer and the salt and pepper shakers! Every time I see it, I'm transported back.
That was so much fun. Seeing all those little things was great. Wish I lived closer to your area I would go right away to do some shopping. What a great store. Thanks for sharing todays finds.
I miss thrifting! I’m in Vic, Australia and we’re still in lockdown! Hopefully everything will open up soon. In the meantime, I’m just over here, binge watching your videos. 😁
Same! There is one great antiques & collectibles store in my (regional) city that remained open. I literally haunted that place. Because I’m not metro, we never went to the full Stage 4 restrictions, just Stage 3....which was challenging enough. But, Crazy Lamp Lady videos helped me through lockdown too!
Jocelyn,🕊🐕🐘🐈🐖🐢 This thrifting trip 💃🏼 had the most interesting 🕵🏻 items. Most of the items I saw were ✨unique✨ to say the least. That was one fun 📹 video......thanks for taking us along.🙋🏼🇨🇦
Thank goodness for friends and coworkers to hook you up with such a great place. Lots of great stuff and yes I liked the video. See you in the next one.
oh my god, so many nice stuff 😭❤ i love all of your picks especially the angels! i wish i can go there but i live in a different country and i barely know any antique/thrift stores here
I wish you lived in Washington! My aunt passed away A few years ago and we have SO MANY LITTLE KNICK KNACKS AND DOO DADS THAT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH😬😭
Wow you wiped them out good job love all the cute stuff love vintage jewelry there so pretty and loved that lion 🦁 dish I would of picked that up quick thanks for another day thrift shopping 🛍
I am surprised you did not get the three gray birds that were next to the Dalmatian or the pair of black cats that were earlier in the video. I was hoping to see the German Shepherd with the puppy in it's mouth. That sounds like it would be adorable. Such amazing finds in that cabinet!
That dresser set you got is Amazing 😉. I can’t believe how good the prices are. Again if I seen them in an antique store in my area they would have been at least $6 - 800.00 for the set you got. And trust me I have been looking for several years.
Cyd in MD. I can understand you not wanting to reveal the name of this shop. I am not a reseller, just a casual collector. I’ll just lean in really close and you can just whisper the name in my ear 🙄
01:07 I swear, the shelves are so crowded I don't know how you manage to concentrate on any one thing! 02:08 A Heffalump stands next to an alabaster pool ... what's he made of, bronze? 02:32 Yay Donkey still has both his shakers! 03:01 I never knew Tonalá angels were a Thing, but I guess I still have things to learn. 05:51 J: "I like this game." Me: :: rings up the East Finchley Boy Scouts to see whether Bluebottle is available:: 08:03 I believe that's a little paperweight. My wife has one rather like it. 08:26 That's an early Kent Follette piece; his current work is much more low-gloss and rustic-looking. (There's a comp on eBay which dates it to the 80s.) 10:50 It's a celluloid folding traveler's water cup, so you wouldn't have to drink direct from a public water fountain. In the 1800s they were made from tin-plated iron; the fancy ones were silver. 12:11 Yes, it is. That's the fletching of an arrow sticking out of the dying mama lion, while Papa snarls defiance and the cub is bewildered. 13:07 The little clog has a really primitive, carved-at-home feel to it, and I think the word "souvenir" was written with a fountain pen. I'd nearly venture that it's a one-of-a-kind. 13:28 You're thinking about Alex and Ani bangles. 14:18 I like the little lupine pin to the right.
I really enjoy your videos, I have exactly the same blue mouse in the hat toothpick holder, on the bottom of it is a sticker that says"imported by giftcraft Toronto"
I would love to know what the iris vase was. I spotted it in the video a few minutes before you asked for it. I told my friend why isn’t she going for the vase? I want that vase. Then you went for it. I was like YAY!!!
Yes, it’s a fantastic deal! This is a pattern I’m always looking for out in the wild! I’ve never seen the highballs before. I would have purchase it all for $175. I picked up some pieces, including the cream & sugar and s&p shakers at a thrift store recently, and about a week later found the soup tureen for $40. That may sound high, but it’s a really good price that should make for some fairly high profit!
Your last purchase was The Owl and the Pussycat. You’re probably too young to remember Tom Jones singing that song, but then again you may know what I’m referring to lol
You passed up a figurine made by Coalport. From my experience, Coalport is a really classy brand, but not sure about figurines. If you go back, grab that!
🤩 WOW Great game ! You must be on a high on a shopping trip like that one! So much fun to feel part of it looking thru display case like a kid looking at candy 😂
I just wish I had the chance to visit the amazing places you go do.... the treasures are fantastic and the variety incredible.... yes you do have the best job ever.... green with envy. Wonder if there's a place here in the UK for the goodwill type environment you have.... keep up the great work x
The lady behind the counter helping you was wonderful!! She went straight to everything and was so tidy. Kudos to her.
I love the creeky floors. Creeky floors ususally mean old stuff. Old stuff usually includes antiques. Antiques usually mean something that’s fun!
Where is this thrift store please?
How fun! And what a great friend to share her honey hole with you! ❤️
😄
I love to play "what will Joc pick" when you are looking through the cases. I score around 90%. There were a couple animals I thought you would take that you didn't but I guessed right on the rest! I really need to get out more lol.
What a great store! I didn't realize I had my face so close to the computer screen trying to see everything in the cabinets 😂 SO MUCH TO SEE! Great video and some adorable finds!
Julie I was doing the same thing...lol lol

I noticed that, too! It was beautiful!!
At 6:33 the kitty on the right is saying _take me, take ME!_
And you took her! Yay!🐱
My mom called those little things "knick knacks" and she has hundreds of them. Who would have thought back then that they would be worth anything? That was fun just watching your enthusiasm.
I love your videos. I'm living vicariously through your videos. I live in California and we are still sheltering in place. Thank you
I grew up with a cookie jar that was like the cat creamer. I have since purchased a creamer and the salt and pepper shakers! Every time I see it, I'm transported back.
That was so much fun. Seeing all those little things was great. Wish I lived closer to your area I would go right away to do some shopping. What a great store. Thanks for sharing todays finds.
Aaack, you're putting me in a shopping mood and I have chores to do today!

Liked section where you were choosing from glass cabinet.
I kept saying the Dalmatian until you picked it ! I’d be tempted to ask if I could go behind the counter to pick things out !
It was an amazing shop and haul. Thanks for sharing, we loved your excitement!
It's on my bucket list when I retire next year to do a thrifting road trip through PA...you have the best stores!!

Hi! I often think that a bag of old towels would be useful to cushion items and help with noise. Take care and be well! Kelly
This was so much fun. Great video.
I wish you lived in Washington! My aunt passed away A few years ago and we have SO MANY LITTLE KNICK KNACKS AND DOO DADS THAT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH😬😭

My sister would like the Paris dish set 🤩❤️🤩
How odd, now I want ice cream. The kind that comes in a glass case with 31 flavors. You found so much great stuff! Thank you for taking us along.

Loved everything specially the lion plate
Aww you missed the large standing Dalmatian to go with the little one 🐶.
I'm very disappointed you didn't get the chartreuse horse. We had a great time with you as always and the lady was so patient.
Good for you, that was fun, yes ma'am more please. Thanks for sharing and have a good day.

This is your best hair color. Suits you perfectly
Please list the mexican angel figurines. I have a larger one just like it. Also the donkey s&P set.
At the 'elephant' cabinet you sound exactly like a kid in a candy store! So cute.
I really enjoy your videos, I have exactly the same blue mouse in the hat toothpick holder, on the bottom of it is a sticker that says"imported by giftcraft Toronto"
Fun game! I HATE uneven floors.
I would love to know what the iris vase was. I spotted it in the video a few minutes before you asked for it. I told my friend why isn’t she going for the vase? I want that vase. Then you went for it. I was like YAY!!!
The Mikasa Parisian scene set is great and a bargain at $ 175
