info on truck:5.3 aluminum gen 4 with cam heads F.B.O on e85
Drop kit is 2in drop spindles and cut springs in front and back is flip-kit with drop shakes with under bed c-notch.
Next mod to come is turbo once I get a/c and misfire fixed.

You made that way more complicated then it needed to be. The escalade is on the exact same platform as Chevy/GMC it all will interchange. Just finished doing a dash swap and the escalade dash plastics fit my silverado perfect. The cluster is even plug and play as long as you don’t care about your mileage being the same plus you get a trans temp gauge that works, all the sensors and wiring is there, chevy just doesn’t put the gauge in the cluster on 1/2 tons unless you pay extra

I did a dssh swap on my 02 from and 02 escalade im having trouble with the climate control any idea what it could be i cant find any info on it

I'm looking at doing this to my 04 2500hd. My biggest concern is the air bag system. Did you wind up keeping your silverado's air bag module or did you use the one from the escalade and did it have any problems/codes? I'm only asking because with a couple of gm vehicles I worked on sometimes a vin mismatch between a bcm and pcm or other modules will cause the air bag system to disable. Thanks for making the video

I did the same swap. But my dash lights and battery light won’t shut off. Did you have any problems like that?

Hey I just did the digital ac control wire harness swap in my 03 Tahoe . After you got everything back together did you ac work properly or did you have to do something special, because I have everything working but my ac blower fan not working

I took some 2008 mustang gt seats cut the frames off and put the silverado frames on them they sat really nice and they was cheap
Yo wtf I always imagined what if I put seats from a different car on my Silverado single cab because the original leather seats are too expensive . I never thought about just replacing the frames . I always thought about just making extra holes in the cab . Lmao thanks for the idea !! Do you still have this truck ?? I’d like to see pictures of how it looks

Did you have to reprogram the BCM, I tried this from a 03 Tahoe z71 interior to a 05 and it would not start. I had 4 left over plugs.
Would the escalade front doors work with an 05 Silverado ext cab for electric windows?

I mean I don't think you need to take out the entire dash guts right? You'd just need the dash pad upper and lower parts and can reuse a lot of your truck stuff if you don't want to use the ac controls and stuff
You are correct. If you want to go to the digital a/c controller you would need the BCM and wiring. The hvac box is the same as long as you already have duel zone

I like the Escalade shell way more than my 06 gmc shell. Is all the stuff under it the same if I used my climate control and just swapped the shells?
Yes, if you’re just wanting the dash pad and bezel, it’ll swap right over.
@@dakotaallen1042 I met some local guys that did it in a 2500. I wound up buying an 05 escalade so I had everything I could imagine. I’m swapping it all in an obs dually and the seats matched my reg cab so I’m putting those in it

You can either buy the metra brackets for a double din or use an 03 bracket behind it.
Thanks for posting this. I’m prepping to due an 06 escalade interior into an 01 suburban. Someone told me there are after market wiring adapters to swap over dashes. Has anyone heard of this? If so where can I find
I don't think you can do that. I've look into it. You gotta find an 01-02 Cadillac

Yes the whole dash assembly and you can reuse your bolts and nuts and it should all fit perfect.
