You made that way more complicated then it needed to be. The escalade is on the exact same platform as Chevy/GMC it all will interchange. Just finished doing a dash swap and the escalade dash plastics fit my silverado perfect. The cluster is even plug and play as long as you don’t care about your mileage being the same plus you get a trans temp gauge that works, all the sensors and wiring is there, chevy just doesn’t put the gauge in the cluster on 1/2 tons unless you pay extra

Did you have to reprogram the BCM, I tried this from a 03 Tahoe z71 interior to a 05 and it would not start. I had 4 left over plugs.

I mean I don't think you need to take out the entire dash guts right? You'd just need the dash pad upper and lower parts and can reuse a lot of your truck stuff if you don't want to use the ac controls and stuff

Hey I just did the digital ac control wire harness swap in my 03 Tahoe . After you got everything back together did you ac work properly or did you have to do something special, because I have everything working but my ac blower fan not working

I'm looking at doing this to my 04 2500hd. My biggest concern is the air bag system. Did you wind up keeping your silverado's air bag module or did you use the one from the escalade and did it have any problems/codes? I'm only asking because with a couple of gm vehicles I worked on sometimes a vin mismatch between a bcm and pcm or other modules will cause the air bag system to disable. Thanks for making the video
