What do you think about a chronic pain patient who injured themselves? When there’s an acute pain superimposed on chronic pain patient who’s been on a stable dose and hasn’t failed any drug screens or violated the law. Do you tell the patient they should manage on what they already have been prescribed? Or do you offer a short increase in their pain meds given the acute let’s say a broken toe.
Hi thank you for talking about pregalbabin I am taking huge amounts daily(1400+) originally prescribed 75mg for fibromyalgia arthritis and emotional pain it worked but a year on gained 3 stone not working for pain causing all the side affects my question is I need to stop now not taper its not gonna work I'm going to gp can I ask is there a drug that can be given short term to lessen withdrawal I have got to day 5 before but then it's bad if you can let me know what you think I'd really appreciate it you speak sense 🇨🇮
I had cancer was prescribed Gabapentin at that time. Later I fell. They prescribed hydrocodone. Still hurt ao was prescribed an ointment Diclofenac Sodium topical.
