After watching full video i must say that you did more than great work. Its hard to say how much effort you put into this and how good it is in summary. Just great great great work. Its one of the most quality things ive seen in a long time. About Car specific videos. Definitly yes i would love to see this kind of videos from someone like you. Have a great day/night!
HokiHoshi on relatively low horsepower like 0-650hp using high pressure can help you to start and keep sliding because you have less grip but in the front you can let it low to have precision or let it high to have a smoother transition
@@mauderuel Oh I totally agree! I mentioned this as well in a comment to someone else, but for lower power cars and for beginners (and sometimes tandems), I think high tire pressure can be really helpful for kicking the end out and also learning drift control. Heck when I started drifting in real life I used to run 40+ PSI on my rear tires. The reason I suggest low rear PSI and "optimal grip" front PSI is because that's more the end goal. It'll get you higher scores, more drifting speed and control, and is preferred for high HP drifting (most Formula Drift guys run crazy low rear PSI), but again I completely agree on low horsepower cars benefiting from higher pressures!
Usually I find these videos pretty lackluster and full of false information. However, yours seems pretty spot on. Thank you for providing some genuinely good information to those of us that are trying to learn.

Nice video. Thank you. I am kinda new to sim drifting using a steering wheel. Are your settings here good for a steering wheel, controller or both? Also, I notice some people using Rally suspension setup. Which do you recommend? I am guessing drift but I was surprised people using the rally setup.
Most of the settings transfer pretty well between controller and wheel! The rally suspension thing mostly carries over from FH3 when there was no drift suspension and rally had more steering angle than race. For FH4 though, drift suspension is definitely preferred!
I was terrible at drifting before watching this video...I still am, but after watching this it got me interested so I decided to try it by getting into my Dodge Viper Drift Edition and playing around with it. And I just want to say to anyone learning how to drift...USE A VIPER. Seriously, after 20 minutes of swinging it back and forth and my first 100k skill-chain drifting I “felt” it. The relationship between throttle and braking and steering just came together so naturally in the tail-happy Viper I strongly recommend it. I still suck...but now I “get it”. Great vid!
Im more aggressive when drifting and for anyone who cares to read this, my initiation goes like this: Weight transfer -> Power over -> Handbrake. This generally allows me to take a much wider line for more Formula Drift Esc. Lines and tandems. Ofc this isn’t something to start off with although it is something id recommend for a more aggressive tandem battle.
If you whant to go real aggressive and do reverse entrys you need to Have low camber up front and stiffen the front suspension and lower bumb in rear and add bumb in front
Thank you so much for this!!! I have looked at other "how to drift in Forza" videos before and even the "easy" videos involve calculus and rocket science. Your video seems to be so much simpler and even has a practice method for starting out!!! I love it and can't wait to try it!

I'll be surprised if you channel doesn't grow because of how much time you seem to put in the videos! And would love some car specific videos!
You simply do not need any other videos to learn how to drift. Great video!
you deserve so many more subs.
I’ve been having so much trouble with drifting and under steering and started watching your videos (started with the basic tuning guide) and can’t wait to implement some of these techniques and tunes! Thanks and have a sub!
amazing! really helps!
Spent all day (probably 150 runs,) trying to beat my buddies record on the drift zone right outside the festival (the circle.... ) He had 51,943 and was stuck at 51,500. After watching your video and applying the tuning settings to my car I best him on my fourth try with the new settings 😁😁 Now I'm first again on my friends list with 52,058. That'll be tough to beat!!! We like to compete and try to out do one another's scores, all in good fun. Thanks for the video and the excellent tips, you've earned a subscriber!!
One of my favorite videos, definitely the most educational drift video I’ve learned. Having everything explained is perfect. Amazing video, learned so much. Can’t wait to watch some more.
Thank you for the amazing video. This is the best drift tuning video i ever seen. With the real life drift tune setup comparison also. I am absolutly impressed. Keep up the good work!!!

These kind of videos don't usually help (because I just can't drift) but this one seemed to help
Please show us how to tune a Rotary car for racing and for drifting
I dont think theres a diff
14:28 interesting, I've heard the same from drifters talking about forza drifting and sim drifting in general, the biggest difference is that you cannot feel the g forces on the car in a videogame and most if not all drivers use that as input to know what to do with the car next.
