Overpacking your hospital bag for your first baby is part of the experience!! I remember thinking geez I didn't need to pack 5 pairs of pants, but looking back, it was nice to have options because you don't know what you'll feel like wearing!
I love that your entire video is, "this would be so cute" 🤣 34 weeks with my first right now! Can't wait to pack my bag up and meet my little man 💙 thank you Olivia!
I love this video! I actually found my sleep mask to be super helpful because I did not sleep for 40 hours after giving birth. I was finally able to take a quick nap when they took him for testing but it was sooo bright in my room, that I wasn’t able to sleep without the sleep mask. It definitely helped me! It I know it’s all about what works for the individual!
😂 I love how irritated you are with yourself omg, it’s so funny, I’m 39 weeks now & watching this video got me like uhhhh, maybe I should unpack some stuff.
Love how realistic this is! You seem so much more real and raw AND powerful! I have a 10 month old and overpacked as well, I think it’s just all part of the first time mom journey lol
I actually watched this video when I packed my hospital bag last October! 😂 I just wanted to THANK you for telling me about Depends! Just so you know, they are also AMAZING if your water breaks like mine did! Total life saver for when your hospital is an hour away... 😳😂 Depends are a must for before and after delivery. Even if you have a csection like me. 💖
Don’t be so hard on yourself!! I didn’t pack as much as you but I did end up in the hospital for 6 days after being induced going through all of that and ultimately a C section. I never expected to be in the hospital that long!
I love these kind of videos! Just delivered my son July 23rd. I had a c section and was so glad I had a comfy robe for when visitors came or when I went walking in the hall. Also glad I took my pillow!
I have loved your videos for the past few weeks as I get ready for my little boy!!! My 9 year old son was emergency c section at 29 weeks, I was 19 years old and I had nothing when I went to the hospital. I'm having a scheduled c section on FRIDAY with baby #2 and you have helped me feel so so so prepared. Thank you!! 😌😊😌😊
I went on Amazon and bought those “i’m going to be a mommy today” socks after watching your video and I have the cutest pictures in them after I got the epidural and before I gave birth! 💕
I remember watching your “what’s in my hospital bag” video and going insane looking at my half empty hospital bag thinking I’m missing everything I’ll need😅😂 still went with my half empty bag and ended up using only half of my half empty bag 😆♥️ your videos were most helpful before going into labor though. Thank you for all that content you uploaded sunshine 😘♥️
I loved your first one- honestly I used most of the stuff you recommended even the socks even though my water broke allll over them 😹😹😹 I cant wait to see what you pack for this one even though I’m not having a baby anytime soon
I love how you laughed at yourself over the champagne, but no joke when my sister had her son they brought sparkling juice/cider/non-alcoholic whatever in her recovery room. So we can honestly say that whole hospital is extra!
Your pregnancy videos are my absolute fav!! That’s how I found you! I watched your videos religiously during my pregnancy and my little boy Brady was born on May 7th of this year (which I think is also Christian’s birthday?!). We’re going to start trying for baby #2 in the summer time, so following right along the same timeline as yours! I feel like you’re one of my mom friends 😂 thank you for inspiring me and informing all of us, and just feeling like we can relate to someone through all of this craziness. I hope this pregnancy is going well for you and I cannot wait to hear what you’re having this time!!! Xoxoxo
No idea why other women feel the need to judge something as small as what you choose to take to the hospital. You do you and pack whatever you like!!! And girl, I got the same thing about bringing nightgowns etc. but I loved wearing my own stuff, I felt more human! xo
Omg Olivia, this had me cracking up! Great video!! 😂👏🏼💕 I’ve been a subscriber since your “What’s in my hospital bag” video and you had sooo many great suggestions. Ladies watching, get the comfy Always brand underwear (Discreet Boutique style) that she recommends in her original video. These were a postpartum lifesaver!!! I also recommend bringing a donut (tailbone) pillow. I had to have family run out a get one for me. Much needed! 😅😂
This was so fun to watch, great video. LOL the socks! I'm 4 months pregnant with my 3rd baby and its been 4 years since my last was born, so this was a good refresher for whats useful and not!
Such a sweet, funny video! I have the same reaction when I see memories on FB. "Like, girl stop." This was helpful when thinking about my bag. I'm so an over-packer! I'll be giving birth in the winter. It gets pretty cold in GA late season, but I'll just bring one pair of socks. :)
I’m pretty sure I packed my hospital bag based off of what you packed in yours haha looking back at your video I had almost everything you packed! I don’t think you over did it for a first time mom, maybe just too many clothes lol 😂
I know not all hospitals are the same, but I was amazed at how much my hospital provided... and a lot of the things they didn't provide I didn't really miss anyway. I didn't end up using MOST of what I packed. I remember thinking that if I had just showed up at the hospital with nothing but the clothes on my back I would have been just fine.
I used the Boppy the entire time I was in the hospital too...my arms were extremely weak from holding my legs back (I was pushing for 2.5 hours and hadn’t eaten for almost 22 hours). But it’s funny I stopped using the Boppy after 2 weeks because I wanted to get used to not having it if I was out in public or not at home. It’s amazing how much money you spend on things for you and your baby and you end up not using it or barely using it.
I got some of those bras and that pink one a black and gray one and they are still the best! Thank you for that video because they are my favorite and I will use them for my next baby also
Did your hospital freeze newborn diapers to use as an ice pack post partum? That’s what mine did and it’s such a great idea especially if you’re home and you need to use up newborn diapers if your newborn is on the bigger side (mine was).
Just finished making my packing list - lots of confirmations watching this. Hopefully I'll get around to getting stuff on it in the next 8 weeks ... giving myself 4 weeks with a packed bag just in case!!!
During your packing video I was all with you😂😂😂 now rewatching it with you-and after watching your postpartum video I’m like girl! Panty liners?!😂 but this was nice to watch, entertaining haha!💜congrats on your growing family
I’m 39 weeks was literally going through my hospital bag double checking everything when I got the notification 😅 loved this vid!! (and LOVED the little tiny toast idea)
Congratulations. Do you have a double stroller you are thinking of purchasing? I have a 9 month old and I'm 6 months pregnant. I'm not sure which stroller to get.
I watched your what’s in my hospital bag video so many times when I was planning what to bring in mine. I totally overpacked too but it worked out because my son was in the NICU and we ended up staying almost a whole week
I am probably the one person that REALLY under packed my hospital bag! My biggest regret was not packing a looser dress to go home in (I packed a tight maxi - omg it was horrible to wear) and not bringing my boppy pillow! Breastfeeding was incredibly hard for me at first and not having that pillow to help support made it so much worse! Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
omg i packed probably less than half of what you did with my first baby (i planned and did stay there for 4hrs only) and the only thing I used was: 1 underwear + large pads (next time ill wear the nappy pants only lol), basic dress, makeup remover, cream, brow product and mascara ._.
If you have an episiotomy the ice they give you is super necessary. I used it non stop. Also, one thing after having 3 kids. Your after labor contractions during nursing are very painful. With each kid they get worse. I personally also used socks cause my feet were freezing, but I think it just depends on the person.
I remember watching the original when I was pregnant and I was so extra packing mine and used like nothing lol. I loved this! When will we be seeing the next gender reveal?! Can’t wait. I’d love to see what y’all all want and think it will be! Also will y’all announce his/her name or wait again?
That’s so funny! I actually watched your hospital bag video for ideas for my own hospital bag! And well some things that you put in your bag I did have in mine and some I did not use at all too! 😂 I also completely agree with the depends underwear I got some for my birth because you did recommend it and they are for sure a must have! 😁 so thank you! 😉 can’t wait to see your hospital bag for baby number 2!
I watched your first video when I was preparing for my scheduled csection and found it super helpful! I'm definitely in the chronic over-packer club too! 🤷♀️😂
I just gave birth almost three weeks ago and I also overpacked like crazy. Half of the things I packed I didn’t even needed and I forgot they even existed until I was unpacking 🤦🏻♀️😂 When I was in labor I didn’t use anything I had packed because I was just so focused on trying to breathe through the contractions and after birth I was just too busy with my little one that I didn’t even care about the pampering stuff 😂
Omg just found this video and I love it! So funny! I’m a ftm due in December and I know I’m being so so extra so this was fun to watch! I am definitely packing three pairs of socks but it will be December in New York lol
Love this video! Makes me wish I had a video of everything I packed for the hospital because I would laugh at myself for all things I packed too :) (I used your video for inspo for my packing!)
I overpacked too. I did bring my water bottle and the only reason I regretted it was because the nurse wouldn’t fill mine but instead brought me a styrofoam cup of water because it was against their policy to take someone else’s cup to fill.
Hahaha this is so funny cus I followed that video a year ago 😂 I overpacked. I had so much unecessary stuffs too. 😂 I bought a box of depends but hated it 😂
I bought a pack of always discreet and I didn’t pack them in my hospital bag because I thought my hospital would provide me with it but boy did I wish I packed them. They only gave me REGULAR pads and mesh undies and it was so uncomfortable. I could have really used them during the two day stay in the hospital and by the time I got home I didn’t even bleed that much anymore so I ended up not using any of them 😐😐
Hey Olivia i am a new subscriber and i love your videos! My husband and i are planning on starting family next year and we love learning from you and seeing how you see things. You are so positive and real :)
Thank you for making me feel better for not using my adorable delivery robe. After labor, let’s just say it’s messy and I didn’t feel like I could wear my robe until I was allowed to shower like the following night 😒I was bummed about it.
i keep wanting to buy light colored gowns and robes to feel pretty and feminine but i am afraid of bleeding on them. 😩 but it seemed to work out ok for you so maybe i will go for it!
I wish I had brought makeup when I had my son last year! Everything happened so fast I didn’t even have time and then I didn’t even care lol. But looking back I wish I would’ve brought it because my skin was so bad and gross that I didn’t even take any pictures of me and my baby 😭
Love this! I totally packed a maxi dress due to your initial video & it was perfect to wear home - super comfy, easy, & convenient but still looking cute for pictures 🙌🏼❤️
I seriously packed my bag like 15 different times and had it all done by 20 weeks with my first kid lol!! but 2nd kid I barely had it done by 37 weeks but she was early and went into the NICU for 4 days so when it came time to have baby #3 I had overpacked a little again because I was nervous of a NICU stay again. I think we just do what we think is best!! you and I are pregnant together! I am pregnant with baby #4!
Lol I totally got 2 portable fans one that squirts water and one that I can literally just wear around my neck - now I feel good about that. Going to be induced in AUGUST 🥵
Those depends are WHATS UP for when you do a natural delivery and want to walk but have a broken water. I did so much walking and bouncing on the ball and they made me wear the mesh undies and mini mattress and they’re so uncomfortable. Just trust me. 😂
Congrats to you and your family on baby number 2nd you look absolutely stunning gorgeous what are you having a boy or girl what brand of diapers are going to use love pampers
Overpacking your hospital bag for your first baby is part of the experience!! I remember thinking geez I didn't need to pack 5 pairs of pants, but looking back, it was nice to have options because you don't know what you'll feel like wearing!
Still bring the Boppy! I forgot how floppy and unhelpful newborns are at nursing. Definitely still came in handy.
Desha haha that was my favorite part of this video too! And I’m glad she did this. It made her even more human!
Haha I’m 38 wks with my second and after I watched this I went and took stuff out my bag 😂
Love how realistic this is! You seem so much more real and raw AND powerful! I have a 10 month old and overpacked as well, I think it’s just all part of the first time mom journey lol
I loved your idea to bring the baby book for foot prints. Our nurse was wonderful and so happy to fulfill our request.
@Lindsey Bailes Either works just about the same. Always are just cuter 🙂.
I love this concept! I’ve been laughing along with you. I’m having baby #2 in 8 weeks and need to pack my bag. New mom vs experienced mom goals! ☺️👌
Don’t be so hard on yourself!! I didn’t pack as much as you but I did end up in the hospital for 6 days after being induced going through all of that and ultimately a C section. I never expected to be in the hospital that long!
Pleaseee make a video of the baby’s hospital bag of stuff that you actually used.
Emily Hardin yess I’d love to see that
I love these kind of videos! Just delivered my son July 23rd. I had a c section and was so glad I had a comfy robe for when visitors came or when I went walking in the hall. Also glad I took my pillow!

I had a c-section and used the Always underwear/diapers. So glad I brought them because I hated the mesh underwear, they gave me mean wedgie.
Girl!! I loved this video!! You're reactions to yourself are priceless, lol 😂

Love you guys.❤❤ Like that you are going back to old videos. ❤❤❤❤
You are my spirit animal. Omg my postpartum bleeding would have laughed at a panty liner. Lol
Pregnant with my first. I watched your Hospital bag for baby #2 video and I don’t think I overpacked. Thank you 😊.
Did your hospital freeze newborn diapers to use as an ice pack post partum? That’s what mine did and it’s such a great idea especially if you’re home and you need to use up newborn diapers if your newborn is on the bigger side (mine was).
Love how you called yourself out on things lol congrats on the new babe!
Just finished making my packing list - lots of confirmations watching this. Hopefully I'll get around to getting stuff on it in the next 8 weeks ... giving myself 4 weeks with a packed bag just in case!!!
I brought depends to the hospital based on your recommendation and it was the best thing! I even had c-section and they were so much more comfortable
Loved the list! I thought jolly ranchers and chapstick were crucial for me! Can’t wait to watch your next packing your hospital bag video!
During your packing video I was all with you😂😂😂 now rewatching it with you-and after watching your postpartum video I’m like girl! Panty liners?!😂 but this was nice to watch, entertaining haha!💜congrats on your growing family

Oh my gosh this made me laugh so much! You’re so awesome! Both past and present Olivia!! 💕💕💕
I love these watching back videos . Thanks so much 👍🏼
Hey new Mommie here I would love to know what kind of camera and camera stand you used to document you labor and delivery?
Hey Olivia i am a new subscriber and i love your videos! My husband and i are planning on starting family next year and we love learning from you and seeing how you see things. You are so positive and real :)
This video is so funny your reaction wow. Love you guys so much.❤❤❤
Hi Olivia, love your videos and your style. Wondering where you got your necklace from?
Take care! Love to your entire family!
Thank you so so much!! They're from Gorjana!
😂😂😂😂 l watched that video a week ago and now this one, you are sooooo funny, I am glad I watch this because I was about to pack a full luggage.
My best friend is bringing the champagne. It’s necessary.
Thank you for making me feel better for not using my adorable delivery robe. After labor, let’s just say it’s messy and I didn’t feel like I could wear my robe until I was allowed to shower like the following night 😒I was bummed about it.
Thank you so much for this video! You are the truth !! 💗 love you so much
I’m 37 weeks and loved your first video! I wish I could see your next one before I go to the hospital but I’m glad you made this one in time! 💖
i keep wanting to buy light colored gowns and robes to feel pretty and feminine but i am afraid of bleeding on them. 😩 but it seemed to work out ok for you so maybe i will go for it!
Wow amazing share dear that's awesome
Omg! That’s is funny all the socks! I am so extra too!
Extra is a good thing!! 😊
Needed this, I am almost done packing my bag and I have so much anxiety over it hahaha
1,000,000% back the slippers. I wore mine ev-er-y-day when I was in the hospital. But I do with I would have brought my own night gowns 👍
I felt like I was also going to “zen out” which I did sort of but I did not care about my oil diffuser or music like I thought I would.
Can you please link your nursing gowns?
I wish I had brought makeup when I had my son last year! Everything happened so fast I didn’t even have time and then I didn’t even care lol. But looking back I wish I would’ve brought it because my skin was so bad and gross that I didn’t even take any pictures of me and my baby 😭
Love this! I totally packed a maxi dress due to your initial video & it was perfect to wear home - super comfy, easy, & convenient but still looking cute for pictures 🙌🏼❤️
There was nothing wrong with what you had in your hospital bag! It’s not like your car couldn’t carry the weight ! 😂 I liked what you took with you 👌
Did you ever get a doula for your pregnancy?
Honestly imma pack a lot of socks 😂 my feet get cold easily
I seriously packed my bag like 15 different times and had it all done by 20 weeks with my first kid lol!! but 2nd kid I barely had it done by 37 weeks but she was early and went into the NICU for 4 days so when it came time to have baby #3 I had overpacked a little again because I was nervous of a NICU stay again. I think we just do what we think is best!! you and I are pregnant together! I am pregnant with baby #4!
I much prefer your hair part now to how it used to be. Very random comment!
Lol I really enjoyed this video ☺️🙃
Love the video!
Lol I totally got 2 portable fans one that squirts water and one that I can literally just wear around my neck - now I feel good about that. Going to be induced in AUGUST 🥵
I worked in a hospital and we had a separate mother infant unit. That’s sounds terrible to sit in that room after.
Also you still bleed when you have C section so the depends would be a good idea for both
Those depends are WHATS UP for when you do a natural delivery and want to walk but have a broken water.
I think im just gonna use the ipad and write on it instead of letterboard.
To be honest it wasn't too bad. the 3 things in the beginning...2 too many outfits but like u said u don't know and the hair ties lol :)
love 💕 you
