C-section or not…idk how any mama uses those abdominal binders or wears anything tight after delivery. I’ve had 3 vaginal deliveries and always wear loose dresses for going home. I don’t want anything tight anywhere near me! I’ve seen ppl pack leggings for going home, but I can’t do it.
@@YT-bv7ke I think it depends totally! My vaginal delivery I wore jogging pants home. My c section I wore a dress. Both times that was exactly what was comfortable and couldn’t imagine the opposite lol
I had a c-section with my first baby and one thing that I wish I packed was more sleepers for him. We were in the hospital for almost 3 days. I felt bad because he got some spit up and milk on the pjs I brought…we ran out of clothes quickly. I’m pregnant with my second and will definitely be packing a few extra just incase they’re needed.
After my csection my doctor recommended tucking a soft rolled up blanket under my seatbelt in the car, extra cushioning in case of accidents! Also, massive congrats 👏🏻 your video with Jordan finding out was just the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen - what a support system! Best of luck with the delivery 💕💕
Congratulations Olivia! I can’t believe I’ve been able to follow along for all three pregnancies and I have so much love for your little family. Sending you all the best for this delivery with the girls!
Two C-sections for me! The first was hard because I didn’t prepare at all for a C-section birth. Second was much easier! I would say that the hardest part is getting up from laying down, I used huge pillows with arm rest to sleep because it’s really hard to sit up and help the baby. Also, the support bands that go around your belly make it soooo much more comfortable! The best thing to do is move as much as you can and it gets better everyday! Wishing you a happy & healthy experience!
I would have used every single thing in this bag! Great list!! I was a C-section momma and the band really helped hold things in. It was uncomfortable but ver comfortable at the same time. It’s like your insides and outsides want 2 different things. So excited for your family!! ❤
I wished I could of been this excited but there was always a chance my daughter didn’t live with me because of my mental health & learning difficulties. Please everyone keep your babies close, give them all your love nothing less, be patient & kind 💖
This video was so unbelievably helpful. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with twin boys! I tried packing my hospital bag last week and I had no idea what all I wld need so I started searching YT videos to try and help me decide. I'm really glad I watched this one! I just feel like this time around, I'm not prepared enough. But I think I'm just overthinking it lol Thanks for sharing! And Congratulations on your twin girls!!
Congratulations olivia! I started watching your videos when i have my first son 4.6 years ago 🥹💓 and now im pregnant with my second i hope all is well for both of us 💓 i alwayyys went back to you videos !
This makes me want to have another baby! haha How special to have twin girls - Praying for a safe delivery for you all and I cannot wait to hear their sweet little names!
I definitely recommend multiple sets of clothes. I had a C-section and then vac. Both babies I was in hospital for 3 days. First from the C-section and second for jaundice. I ran out of clothes both times!
Can’t wait for you to meet those babies! You always have the best go-to hospital bag videos! Last year with my second I was so grateful I brought an eye mask, and my holy grail as a bf mama was the Medela soft shell nipple saver cups. I had such sore nipples with my first so with my second I started applying balm and then wearing them in my bra after each nursing session from the start and had no pain. 🙌
This is such a good hospital bag video!! So practical! Will definitely be coming back to this for when I’m closer to having my baby and gotta make a hospital bag! 😊❤
Going on fifth c section! I stayed in a house coat most of the hospital stay for way access for skin to skin feeding etc. wear something loose in way home! And bring a pillow for the car ride home and even just an extra in the hospital!
Thanks! Planning a twin birth and i felt so unprepared for my first birth. Reminder to everyone in the comments don’t forget some snacks and drinks in your bag in case you have a long labor!
For my c-section I only wore a robe and a loose night gown. I wanted NOTHING to rub up on my incision. Other than that I only used toiletries. But I think "overpacking" is the way to go! Better to bring and not use, then regret not having it.
One thing I’d say too if your being induced maybe pack more things to keep yourself comfortable. I wish I had a lot of things with my 1st birth and I’m certainly over packing for my 2nd birth! Also you mainly carry out baby, if you plan on going home alone you can ask the hospital for a cart to put all your bags on ❤ also another tip is to call your hospital and ask what they offer postpartum so you know what and what not to bring. My hospital doesn’t provide dermaplast, tucks pads and ice packs so I bring those for myself ❤
I did bring my own pillow and blanket. I put a regular pillow protector on it, then a waterproof one and then another plain protector before putting a pillowcase on. I bought cozy throw blankets that I was fine if I had to get rid of. Those two things made my hospital stay so much more comfortable
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences it got me through my first pregnancy and made me feel not alone! Sorry so many people give you a hard time but I truly appreciate every second you’ve devoted to sharing it helps so many people!
My second labor was 12 hours and I was bored. My third baby I was in labor for 51 hours and was so thankful I remembered to bring my laptop! I watched my favorite tv show to pass time until i progressed enough to not care anymore. Also I had a nursing tank top from target that was so much better than the hospital gowns and a large pair of sweats. I felt covered and comfortable but still easy to nurse
Congratulations mom on your third time around. What a beautiful bag. You're right every labor is different . I'm subscribing because I love videos like this . I love to see how things have changed since I had kids. I had a pail that was placed on the toilet with warm water and squirt iodine . I just wanted to share because I had kids ( as my kids say) dinosaur years ago. You hit some great points for new moms. I am not here to criticize , I just love watching moms. Oh my goodness I wish that I had that long phone cord .
I’ve had two c-sections (one planned and one not). I can’t think of anything specific you would want to pack… They do check the cut often, so it’s good whatever you wear has easy access to the area. Also, you have to stay longer than with a vaginal birth, in case that impacts any amount of any particular thing in your bag. Excited for you guys! ❤
The Rebalance drops are different from the After Ease drops! I’m planning to get both for my labor bag, but I just wanted to throw that out there just in case, as I’d hate to accidentally forget the After Ease drops 😅 Rebalance is to help balance your hormones/mood post partum, and the After Ease is the one that helps with contraction pains postpartum. Totally a simple mistake, I hope my comment is helpful to you if you see it. Good luck! I’m 32 weeks right now :)
Best of luck! I had a c section and I had a great experience! I would say no clothes with a waistband for sure. Also you may swell a lot so big roomy shoes were nice. Recovery is tough but it gets so much easier as each day passes. Try to get up and move around as much as you feel comfortable with. Drink lots of water and rest rest rest! ☺️
I recently ditched my Stanley for the Simple Modern because it doesn’t leak! I will never go back to the Stanley😂. Also a video on all of your BÉIS collection would be so fun! Love your videos! ♥️
I was personally very, very swollen after my c-section for almost 2 weeks because of all the extra fluids from being in labour/being induced etc. and found that drinking dandelion tea really helped to bring down the swelling quickly. Good Luck with everything! Looking forward to the arrival of your sweet girls :)
Your last hospital bag video helped me pack for my son, and I had no idea you were even pregnant again! Congratulations and good luck with your delivery
I had to have a emergency c section after being in labor for 4 days and ended up spending an extra 7 days at the hospital after. I wish I would have packed way more clothes for my self 😅 I watched every video you had 30 times to prepare. The best advise was the personal fan and I got a misting bottle to spay during labor it was a life saver 😂
Love your videos and wish you a safe healthy delivery for all! Just want to point out the Wish Garden tincture you are referring to is "after ease" that will help with the postpartum contractions. The "rebalance" tincture which you pictured offers hormone support only but does not help with the cramping and contractions. My son is 3 months old and I used both postpartum. They are great and I was glad to have both. You may want to look into getting the "after ease" as well if you are wanting to ease the contraction pains especially if you are going to be nursing :)
I had an unplanned csection so I didn’t need most of the postpartum stuff I had prepared. I would say preparing your house for after a C-section is most important! Get yourself a grabber tool/trash picker upper haha.
If you have a C-section, just prepare for nausea when they are putting everything back in you. The first bowel movement that you are able to have can be painful, and the support band that you got really helped during the recovery. Someone gave me a CBD cooling roll on balm, and that really helped my neck and back. Good luck mama!
Love all your stuff! So excited for your family!! Praying your labor and delivery go well!❤ Ps. Are u guys bringing back the podcasts? Miss hearing u and hubby chat!
Thank you for this! Expecting my first it on August 29. Sorry to bother… Where did you get the little clear cases for the small items? The link isn’t working ;(
Omg I'm 1000% overpacking this time...my poor hubby had to keep going and getting more clothes because my daughter and I ended up staying 2 weeks for her to have jaundice treatment and I was noooot prepared for that lol!
With the pump if you're having a long labour you could always try and pump to get things going nipple stimulation is great for trying to get contractions to come along
I used my pregnancy belt after my c-section. My pain level went from 9 to 2 instantly. Nobody told me that I should wear that after. Avoid using too many painkillers, especially if breastfeeding. Also butter soft underwear from Old navy helped a lot, especially under the belt. 👍🏼
If you have a c-section, I can't say how essential compression leggings are. I used the Mother Turcker ones. You have a lot of gas after a c-section (I've had 2.. my singleton and my didi twin girls) and without these pants, I was in so much pain. After getting these on about 12 hours after delivery, it pushed the gas where it needed to go and let me recover faster and with much less pain. It is a annoying to wear pants for the check ups, but the pain was just unbearable without them.
Also good to have a coming home outfit as a “just in case” because in my case, I was induced and told I was being induced while getting a checkup appointment done on me and baby. I was wearing a cute little sundress cause I had no clue and there was no sign or risk initially of this happening. I was not about to wear a strappy sundress and heals home 😂 so glad I put a sweatsuit in my car.
@@Maiju86 they weren’t super big heels! They were like the little sandals with a 2 inch heel. I was tired of sweats all the time and for once wanted to dress up and take myself shopping for “after pregnancy clothes” to make myself feel good then ended up being admitted to be induced 😅
@Mari it's all what you get used to. I did heels while pregnant. I had to wear boots during the winter while pregnant. My boots had heels on them. I wasn't going to go out and buy boots again. The hardest thing was getting out of the car though. Parallel parking and getting out of a sports car was difficult. I had to put my feet on the sidewalk and then hoist myself out of the car.
I had mono di girls back in November! I had one vaginally and the second was an emergency c section under general anesthesia. I had some major complications and ended up spending 2 weeks in the hospital with my girls. I wish I had brought more of the postpartum underwear and more clothing. I also wish I had more preemie sizes as my girls ended up being in that size for over a month.
The newborn hats that my hospital gave, for my daughter, hers had a bow on it. It was super cute. It was the same pink and blue knit design as the regular hats but for girls they give one with a bow. 🎀
Shampoo may seem silly but I threw up a few times and needed to wash the puke out of my hair. It was all I wanted after labor in the hospital and I had to stay for so long
I have no clue why women feel the need to judge what others bring in their bag. Every mama's needs are going to be different. Who cares ? Lol it's just what you want to bring. It helps others get ideas for what they need to bring
The always underwear you showed are for bladder leaks, since you've used it does it work well during your postpartum because we're bleeding alot after birth?
I have never used any products after giving birth and it's not that bad. Maybe take some ibuprofen if you need it. For birth I recommend birthing TENS! ❤ Those after birth "panty diapers" are good if you can change it yourself. I had them with my third, but since I could not move after the birth (epidural gone wrong 😓), it was more difficult for the nurses to clean me. 😬
I'm a bit extra with my hospital bag, but try not to be too extra. I feel like we have similar packing styles. My go tos for me are two sets of jammies (one for before I get to shower and one for after), robe, pillow and blanket (we didn't do this the first time and regretted it), Boppy to sit on post delivery (if I have a planned C-section, I won't bring it), and comfy coming home clothes. And of course the long phone charger. For the babies my go tos are personalized blankets, swaddles and a coming home outfit. The blankets and swaddles are entirely for photo purposes.
"You're gonna be on your phone a lot, in the hospital, most likely, if you're someone who uses your phone a lot." A sentence that is, truly, indicative of someone that uses their phone a lot.
Definitely need flowy, lose clothings! thick waistband underwear and soft soft clothes! Also I watched your hospital bag videos to pack my hospital bag when I had my son!
Most likely, statistically, you won't know as a c section mom if you'll be a c section mom. The only real difference with a c section is you won't want stuff around your incision, like tight pants. You won't want tightness lower down if you have a vaginal birth, so just bring really loose pants or a dress to go home and you're covered. And buy the larger size of Always Discrete too, mine I bought smaller size and it was too tight around my incision. Again wouldn't hurt to do that if you have vaginal too. I had an emergency CS with my first and then a vbac so I know both sides. And pump definitely bring, I brought and didn't use for my first bc I used the hospital pump so I didn't bring mine this time and I regretted it big time. They didn't give me a pump and my milk took a while to come in and my baby lost 10% of her weight and my ped made a big deal about it. Bring the pump, 100%
I wish I would have packed a fan when I got to my room at the hospital the air wasn’t working in there and they didn’t have time to give me a new one before baby came it was miserable
As a csection mama, I didn't want to wear anything with a waistband next to my incision. Flowy dresses are the way to go after delivery!
Yessss! Same here!
It’s so cool how different our bodies are. After my c-section I wanted to wear something tight.
And I’ve been through 2 c sections already first I didn’t want anything right and second I NEEDED something tight!!

Not me watching your hospital bag video even though I’m done having kids 😝 rooting for you Olivia!! 🤍 you got this mama.
Me neither 🙊😂
Congrats on your twins! Can you please relink the clear & tan bags for little items?
I used a peri bottle. Until the day we were going home when I realized I probably didn't need to use it considering I had a c-section 😳🤣

Oh my goodness! I remember her making this video for her 1st then 2nd. Suddenly I'm finding out she's having twins!! Congrats and God bless!
I recently ditched my Stanley for the Simple Modern because it doesn’t leak! I will never go back to the Stanley😂. Also a video on all of your BÉIS collection would be so fun! Love your videos! ♥️

The swelling is unreal!! You couldn’t tell the difference between my feet, ankles and calves. They looked like stumps lol
Your last hospital bag video helped me pack for my son, and I had no idea you were even pregnant again! Congratulations and good luck with your delivery

1st time soon to be mama here. Thank you for this helpful video ❤
I had an unplanned csection so I didn’t need most of the postpartum stuff I had prepared. I would say preparing your house for after a C-section is most important! Get yourself a grabber tool/trash picker upper haha.
Yes and just get someone to live with you for a month to help with everything!
You are my kind of packer! Thanks girl🤍
I'd say use white depends instead of black so you can keep a better eye on bleeding and discharge as it can be indicative of infection.
If you have a C-section, just prepare for nausea when they are putting everything back in you. The first bowel movement that you are able to have can be painful, and the support band that you got really helped during the recovery. Someone gave me a CBD cooling roll on balm, and that really helped my neck and back. Good luck mama!
This was SO helpful!!! Due in a month with our first and appreciate it so much!
Thank you so much for making these abs congratulations on the twins!💕
Love all your stuff! So excited for your family!! Praying your labor and delivery go well!❤
Ps. Are u guys bringing back the podcasts? Miss hearing u and hubby chat!
Can't wait to watch! You are the hospital bag video queen! 👑💜 Hope you have a smooth and safe L&D
Thank you for this! Expecting my first it on August 29. Sorry to bother… Where did you get the little clear cases for the small items? The link isn’t working ;(
Even better than the handheld fan, I’ve got the one that sits around your neck. Currently 38 weeks! Can’t wait to meet baby!

I've had two c sections and am going to have my third in 4 months
Makes sense. After tummy tucks they make you compress.
Congratulations 🎉can you please tell me where your outfit is from? Love ur style
You have so many valid points girl ❤
I’ve been so looking forward to this video! So excited for you and your family!!
It’s so neat how different our bodies are! I lived in dresses post c section and couldn’t go near pants
Wow, heels while pregnant? I can't use heels even when I am not pregnant. 😅
@@Maiju86 they weren’t super big heels! They were like the little sandals with a 2 inch heel. I was tired of sweats all the time and for once wanted to dress up and take myself shopping for “after pregnancy clothes” to make myself feel good then ended up being admitted to be induced 😅

The fawn duffle bag I can’t reload it online. Is this only available in America? Where else can I get it? I love it so much.

The always underwear you showed are for bladder leaks, since you've used it does it work well during your postpartum because we're bleeding alot after birth?
I have never used any products after giving birth and it's not that bad. Maybe take some ibuprofen if you need it. For birth I recommend birthing TENS! ❤
Those after birth "panty diapers" are good if you can change it yourself. I had them with my third, but since I could not move after the birth (epidural gone wrong 😓), it was more difficult for the nurses to clean me. 😬
Hi, can you share a link of your outfit? Looks lovely and very comfortable
I was burning up in the hospital and the nurses brought me a nice little fan that could hook on the bed. They even insisted I take it home
I'm pregnant with my first baby 💖
Do you think the peri bottle is still useful if I have washlet attachments on my toilets at home?
Thank you so much. It's very informative!
Where is this cute jumpsuit from??
Congratulations ❤ God bless.
OMG I have the size of your baby bag for me and 1 baby 😂. We live 5 mins from hospital though.
Do you have a link for your jumpsuit?
I'm a bit extra with my hospital bag, but try not to be too extra. I feel like we have similar packing styles.
My go tos for me are two sets of jammies (one for before I get to shower and one for after), robe, pillow and blanket (we didn't do this the first time and regretted it), Boppy to sit on post delivery (if I have a planned C-section, I won't bring it), and comfy coming home clothes. And of course the long phone charger.
For the babies my go tos are personalized blankets, swaddles and a coming home outfit. The blankets and swaddles are entirely for photo purposes.
How do you feel? I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant with twins. I feel so stretched and uncomfortable already
Can you link the outfit you are wearing?
Wait so can you drink after delivery? What about breast feeding?
Do you stick with the Prenatal Vitamins or move to the Postnatal version?
The best pillow is brest friend it buckles
Can’t believe your already getting your hospital bags! Your pregnancy flew by! You should do the baby momma dance before the twins come!
Lol I am pregnant with our 5th and I am always as big as you are now but just with 1 😂😂
"You're gonna be on your phone a lot, in the hospital, most likely, if you're someone who uses your phone a lot."
A sentence that is, truly, indicative of someone that uses their phone a lot.
I can tell you feel super clever from that comment so, truly, I hope it brightened your day!
@@oliviazapo I appreciate what you've shared - just found that bit humorous!
I'm doing home birth 💖
Where is that jumpsuit from?!
Definitely need flowy, lose clothings! thick waistband underwear and soft soft clothes! Also I watched your hospital bag videos to pack my hospital bag when I had my son!
Wow..your husband used a peer collector bowl!
Why do I see you guys naming one of the girls “paisley” haha anyways that’s one of my name guesses 😂🤩
You should definitely do the pre pregnancy clothes try on challenge before you give birth. LoL it would be such a fan video for you to do and to watch
❤❤❤
At the hospital i jad my babies they made me take a shower after baby.
I wish I would have packed a fan when I got to my room at the hospital the air wasn’t working in there and they didn’t have time to give me a new one before baby came it was miserable
