I have a 4 month cavapoo puppy and your information on Sunny has been soooo helpful since I got him! I’ve been trying the butternut box since he’s been a picky boy and he’s enjoying that hugely. He also doesn’t really care for food first thing in the morning until he’s woken up a bit more, he just wants a cuddle first thing but it’s so adorable.

I've just got a f1b caverpoo. he's mental, loves food, is scared of going for walks and is really sweet (when he's not going mental). can't wait for him to chill out like sunny :D.
That's not a bad thing when you mentioned about playing with her, I used to feel the same. I'm a mom of two, there's some things like arts & crafts, games, walks, park, lego and cuddles that I'm absolutley fine with but if I have to do imaginitive play, I'm dying on the inside! We just got a Cavachon puppy and I can't wait to be able to take her out for walks and with me places. Thanks for ypour vids, really helpful :)

The late night milk could be causing a bit of early morning acid which is why the lil poppet doesn’t want to eat breakfast until late. It could also be the powder putting her off and once it’s soaked in the food it’s easier to eat. Just friendly suggestions, not a lecture. :)

She is adorable ❤ Can I ask a question, do you think it's ok to walk a cavapoo in the afternoon rather than the morning? We are looking and getting one and I was thinking I would walk it in the afternoon after I finish work. But someone told me you should really walk dogs in the morning?

I wanted to share a piece of advice (un requested I know 🙈) but my dog’s trainer has always mentioned that’s it best to feed dogs after the walks as if they eat first and immediately go for a walk it could cause GDV which can be lethal sometimes.
Of course, always check with your vet first ♥️

My cavapoo is exactly the same as Sunny! Refuses breakfast most days/needs convincing, and runs away at the thought of a walk but then loves it once she's out! so weird lol

Sunny might actually know what's good for her: There is evidence that the longest-lived dogs eat only once a day. Try dropping the breakfast and see if she's goes for the later meal, just give her more food at that meal. As long as she doesn't start losing weight (assuming she doesn't need to lose a little), she'll be happy and you won't have to fuss with her not wanting to eat.
