- Don't need any fancy tools to make this Flower Agar-agar Jelly! I just used a syringe and plastic spoon to make this. Usually we use special tools to carve out the flower petals but I wanted to show you another way without these tools. Do try it! The jelly is really pretty! Well, it gets better with practice 😁
Ingredients:
Base clear jelly:
25 grams instant jelly powder

120 grams caster sugar
1000 ml water, room temperature
Colour flower jelly:
1-2 teaspoon dragon fruit powder + 2 tablespoon hot water

100 grams sugar

Portable induction cooker
1 Pan
3 cups for the coloured jelly
1 sryinge
1 spoon from baskin robbins

One of the things when working with agar powder. Always start with cold water. Stir and leave it at room temperature for like 5 or so minutes. This allows the agar to absorb the water first. Then apply heat. This prevents clumps.

Hi Ruyi, I really love your rose jelly rose. I tried making it but my base jelly was so hard, I wanted to make sure the recipe calls for 25g instant jelly powder is it correct? Thanks in advance. I am making it again second time in 2 days!
Hi, yes, I used 25g. If the base is harder, it's easier to do the flower. But you can always reduce the powder to liquid ratio to suit your texture preference
