Why don't you use a bass-flute too? Or do you make some flutes an octave lower by program?
I don't own a bass flute right now, so I usually pitch down my alto flute during editing.

Thanks! Between practicing and recording, several weeks. This was the first one I made, so I kept recording until I had a good take all the way through for each, which took me a lot longer than I would have thought.
