Well on my Yamaha R15 it says 12.4 V and when I checked it with a multimeter I was happy about it( it's a 3 year old battery)....After watching this video I understood that it should be around 12.5 minimum and go upto 14v....And also should be checked when on load!....really amazed with your explainations, you have definitely done a lot of research!.....Talking it in technical terms and making it sound easier that's what I love about u sir! I have got an issue with my bike respected to this and had left a message a couple of weeks back on Instagram!....Havent got a reply since I understand ur busy schedule!...

I own a Exide Battery Dealership.. 1stly not all amaron batteries are gel based batteries especially for cars, all automotive batteries except for motorcycles or scooters are lead acid atleast at this point of time.. Amaron puts a cap over the cell caps so you cant see them and gives an illusion of a dry battery but they still do make gel based batteries for motorcycles.
    2) gel based batteries can hold charge for alot more than 1 month i.e 3ish months if you dont have anything sucking up the current.
    3) there is only one way to check if a battery has gone bad without a high tech meter which costs about 50k.. ask the dealership to charge it, if it charges upto full and goes back to older state after 5 days that means the battery is not at fault. secondly if you are still unsure just skip the dealership and goto the service center they have high tech meters and they'll accept your claim if your battery is bad and you push them hard enough. Dealer has no power over changing your battery its the companys decision same as warranties for other products such as TV's or mobile.. you dont take them to the dealership you just call the service center? but yes the dealership cant refuse service it'll just take alot more time then contacting the service center in the first place.

    Good evening sir
    I got a small doubt
    I own a Yamaha R15 v2.0
The problem in it just started a month back
The thing is the instrument console system on the bike goes off for a second while I crank the ride sometimes....has happened once I stop at the traffic signal and stuff..and many other places....I got my battery checked, fuse checked everything is fine even though there is no relation with them( just understood there is a relation now)
Could it be because of my spark plug sir?
Maybe due to the carbon deposits on it?
