Such a great breakdown and description of how the pelvic floor is connected to the whole body

Hello Sarah, PLEASE can you tell me, when we inhale, do our lower torso rise first and then upper torso or our ribs rise first 360 degree and then we send air to lower back, belly and pelvic floor? I hope that you know what I'm mean

I am confused! I clench my jaw, I clench my buttocks, but I have chronic diarrhea and recently often don’t get to a toilet in time so wear Depends. Gastroenterologist says I am stuck with it. I am 71 and teach mat Pilates group classes 3 x a week. Any suggestions?

Hard to say without seeing you move. I would maybe get another assessment from a doctor than can help address food intolerances or anything else that might be going on.

I don't notice any change at all in my ab or pelvic floor tension when I clench my jaw or push the tongue into my teeth. Should I? I am unclear if that connection is what is normal or what is abnormal?
