Thank you so much for this update!!!
This radio has been a HUGE success for the HONDA S2000 community! 👏🏼 For the support & improvements. More people will definitely be buying these now that Android Auto compatibility has been added. ❤
Amazing support. Thank you. Loving this radio even more now
Thank you so much!
It worked!!!! Thanks so much 💪💪💪
@@neru777 which flash drive did you use if you don't mind me asking
Im having problems with update files I downloaded. After extracting it, It says unsupported format
Weird I emailed you guys about wireless CarPlay connection issue and got no response?
What is the pre amp on this headunit?
Where can u get the update version at
Where can i get the update?
Is available anywhere in europe? thank you!
So I bought this. Updated it. But disconnects randomly, cut music from notifications that I don't even see ans the android auto just lags sometimes I can't even go into customize "can't access while driving" when I'm literally parked.
3.8 1/2 stars could be better on software side if the processor and ram are weak
Hi there!
Just want to inquire where can I send amessage or inquiry to you guys?
That's awesome! Will there be an android auto pre-installed version for sale? Or buyers would have to buy this version and run update?
I’m told later this Fall. Those units will have an “A” at the end of the model.
@@derekchock7419 Oh okay I see. I just purchased this version and will try to update it to use with Android. If the update does not work then I will return and wait till Android version comes out in fall
Can we set LEDs to orange with this update?? Thanks!
No option to set LEDs to orange. @PowerAcoustik1550, can we make this an option? Would match S2000 backlight and I think E36 BMW as well.
@@roby827 Dang, yeah E36 (Z3 here) is all orange. It would be super dope to have a color picker or independent R/G/B values inputs since the E36 is kind of a red-leaning orange. Though I would definitely settle for orange!
Anyone has issue with this update? It look like the update takes, but the system never reboots and if I turn off the car/power then turn it back on, the screen of the HU goes kinda nuts. I have turn off the car/power once more, but I don't see any option for Android Auto...
Same here update just made things worse
@@adrianlantigua7688 Also same for me
I had the same issue. Unit rebooted to a black screen and when I shut the car off and on again, the screen gets garbled, the system reboots/resets, but the firmware doesn't update.
I fixed this by copying only the update folder, ISPBOOT.BIN file, and the st25mcu.bin files to the USB drive and deleting/ignoring the files starting with an underscore (i.e. do not copy all files from the zip to the USB drive). After that, I was able to successfully complete the update.
@@roby827 This worked! Much thanks!
So I downloaded the update, but when I click on update it says not compatible?
did you format the SD card?
or thumb drive?
I got it to work. I had downloaded the whole thing to the flash drive.
hey guys i live in Germany and want to buy a unit is there a way to get one i really want one for my e36
mail forwarding company
What was plugged in?
A usb drive with the update on it
What the heck Power Acoustic, we did this update the the whole unit just shut off and would not start anymore.. What the heck.
Did you ever figure it out?
@@Belizeit818 it's hit or miss. My personal one was good. I helped a buddy out and it just fried his deck. Reached out to Power Acoustic for a replacement. Just gotta send the bad one in. Worked great ever since.
same issue here screen goes black but backlit. never bootscreens to update ! any fix?
@@michaelhoward600 I'm talking to their tech rn. Seems to be the USB being the issue. They asked me to send it in and they'll send me one with the Android auto already installed. And they want to go over my head unit to figure it out.
@@michaelhoward600 I'd return it. Or "swap it out" at WM
