- The Power Acoustik RZR1 monoblock amplifier has now supposedly been upgraded to be stable at 1 ohm! We will put it through an endurance test to see if it will be stable at 1/2 an ohm!!! after the test, we will open it up and see if anything has changed internally.

I've been running similiar set up in an 08 santa fe, full interior speakers upgraded,sound design head unit 5v outputs, with amp and sub using a single sub only and slot port box. Since 2018 , zero problems , sounds great , reliable.

Another decent budget amp is Harmony. If I remember correctly, they've been around for a while.
Rockville makes a statement about power ratings that explains why power acoustik over rates by so much. They are in the budget segment where most brands do the same (Boss). They have to grab the attention of the inexperienced customer that won’t know the difference between max and true rms ratings. That being said, with this series of amps Power Acoustic delivers way more than others in the same price range (Boss). There is a Soundstream version of this amp that is more accurately rated and is actually more compact because it doesn’t have the plastic trim at the ends of the chassis.

I ran the 4 ch version in my motorcycle powering an 8 inch infinity sub and a pair of 6.5 jbl,loved its size and power. They are like a lot of things,exaggerated numbers are now exposed,this is a 1000w amp at best,fusing alone tells us that,keep up the good work.

This amp actually does 1400 watts dynamically. I have the old version of this amp for over 5 years and it’s never skipped a beat. My starting ohm loads 1.33.

You're happy and that makes me happy. The best deal I know of on CLD is Killmat 80 mil, bulk pack, which is enough for the entire car with around 25-50% coverage.

These stickers never hold up in court. They have to prove what you did caused the failure. I remove these every time.
The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act is what protects us from those stupid stickers.
Power Acoustik is 2nd only to BOSS when it comes to flat out lying about RMS output. Been that way for at least 30 years, truly pathetic to use dishonesty to swindle a newcomer to car audio out of their money.
On a positive note the loudest system I've ever heard was a Power Acoustik company demo build that was in the mid 160s at a car show at Cal Expo in Sacramento in 99 or 2K. It was a yellow or gold car from the 40s or 50s if I remember correctly. The back doors opened and had 6 amps on each door with the cargo area was made up of 4 subs in a + configuration. 6 of those in total made 24 12s with lots of lighting. Ol Yeller was the name of the vehicle. Heard them burping it when I was 4 miles from the exit on the freeway. Impressive😮

The walmart I went to had 2 with the new black boxes and one of the old yellow box. I think they might be getting the old ones out before they put the new ones on the shelf. I also noticed that you can't get them online yet too. Maybe see if you can find an employee there and ask if they have any new ones in the back.

They dont rate them at 1 ohm but trust me. They do just fine!

I don't know bout blowing the windshield but if u say so but I will say it's all about the box I can put a shitty sub in a awesome box and it will sound amazing but u can put the best subs $ can buy in a shitty box and guess what it's going to sound like shit lmao so hopefully didn't cost to much to replace ur windshield

I've seen a few P acoustic amps Dyno'd but I haven't found the 1000.2 AB test yet. I think I just saw it for $59.98 ? It wasn't expensive. I just got 2x DS18 6.5 two way in today. I'm doing all the custom work myself. 2000 Accord sedan. I just got back from the hardware store with a 4x8 sheet of plywood & .5x8x16ft board strapped to the roof of it lol. 15 minute drive took 45 minutes 😅. Gotta do what we gotta do sometime. It's worth it. 51 yo & this is my last & best build.

So you're running them two 12 at a 1/2 ohm ? So how is that ? They are 4-ohm dual voice coil subs two of them that brings it down to 1 ohm load ! Right ?

Ok wait they are dual 4 they are wired in parallel and both speakers are wired together in parallel. It's not uncommon to get a little bit of a lower impedance reading. Alot of variables in there and the multimeter is really just guessing. Thank you for the comment!

It's hard to support a company who isn't honest to you. I don't know why these companies don't care. I guess there are maybe more suckers than people who care if you are full of crap. I see the old ones on Marketplace for 20 bucks sometimes though and I'll take that and time.

This amp is not powerful enough to handle one of these gothic subs i was using just one of these when the amp partially blew limiting me to half volume before protect kicks on these subs however can handle more than 2500 believe it or not been giving them absolute hell with no issues probably around 3000 watts on some very hot days with no issues whatsoever
Instead of this crap , buy CT Sounds , Taramps , Recoil, or PRV instead . They all do above rated power and are all near the same price range of this Wal Mart special that you installed.

This amp is much cheaper than all the above brands tho, and you get a decent amout of watts for 98 dollars , and good quality really nice built amp with Korean board thats a plus
