This is super helpful. Many thanks! I was hoping my old DCI for my Alpine HU would work with PowerAcoustik's unit. Looks like I'm in luck! Thanks again.
So he’s sending these out. I just picked up the head unit and ordered the attachment, but it still says pre-order. Hopefully that means I’ll get it sooner than later.
It technically should but to be sure, you could always get a harness without the dci option. Super easy to make, here’s the video I did on it th-cam.com/video/Mbk0b9g66_8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6_k8duThqdyG9I_F
Hey question Brody. I’m tryna order for my ap1 coming from overseas. Do i need s2000 adaptor and the power Acoustik plug n play adaptor harness as well ?
Hey dude! Nope, it’s either one or the other. I opted to get the Modifry harness for the DCI controls on the dash. I spliced together a harness when I first installed the unit though. Here’s the video I did on it th-cam.com/video/Mbk0b9g66_8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N4hMpfZrkZp00lof
@@ronfromportland ahh okay makes sense i did the same thing when i got my head unit before knowing about modifry. Ended up just gettin the plug and play and throwing the Walmart harness adaptor on the tool box. Appreciate the response.
My ch button switches between radio / CarPlay. I noticed it only works half the time as in when I switch to the radio from CarPlay, it won’t switch back using the ch button.
Ahhh yes the simple comforts make the experience that much better! Great follow up big dawg!
Yessir! Thanks man 🙏

@@ronfromportland Thank you!

Im thinking of putting this on a motorcycle (with the marine cover). Does this have enough power to run 4 6x9 clean? Or would it need an amp?
Hello dear wich DCI is suitable for S2000 Ap1?
Will the plug and play harness work without the dci or is it requires too?

@@Mcfllyyy yeah for sure. Either or works, I just was lazy and didn’t want to spend the time trying to get the DCI to work haha.
@@ronfromportland Deff felt that lol my ap1 gets here in October so I’m bout to order the plug and play harness and dci very shortly lol
Does your channel button change the FM stations? The channel button does the same thing as the Mode button on mine.

Do you have the link for the harness

Why does the dci need to be outside ?
You can put it wherever you’d like but I put it there just in case I need quick access to make adjustments.
Does this have Android Auto? Walmarts site says yes but sone TH-cam videos say inly Apple car play
@@apsirotin not out of the box. There is an update available on PA’s site for Android capability though.
