Hello dear stranger :) Check out my CURRENT SINGING VOICE on my new Music video!!: th-cam.com/video/t_W55Uf0KSk/w-d-xo.html And check out my current SINGING VOICE with my newest song I made by myself: open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/4XSeLrFUjNxZJGF2Xtij5A?si=e00d79f665ee478f I am so overwhelmed by the amount of support and touching words here in the comments also in my instagram Dm’s and my Email. All of that is just too much for a 16 year old like me to handle. 2 years ago, when I wasn’t able to hit one single note properly and just sounded like a tyrannosaurus rex laying eggs, I said with so much fear, doubt and desperation but most importantly with confidence that I will prove to myself and to the world that hard work can surpass talent. THANK YOU But this singing journey of mine is one of the few things I worked on disciplined I also worked on my music producing, composing, songwriting, editing and playing all the instruments such as Piano, Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Electric Guitar and Saxophone skills in those 2 years where I also can make this kind of transformation video. I decided to work very hard on those aspects to create my own songs by myself. Its especially really hard because I’m doing everything by myself. I know it sounds like an annoying Promotion but it would mean the world to me if you can support that since I’m VERY desperate because my lack of marketing skills. So please feel free to E-mail me: davidtran06@web.de Or DM me: instagram.com/david.tran06/ Also I saw many comments saying that I should work on my belting because it sounds like I’m screaming. Thank you so much for pointing out and also giving me tips! I am no brilliant singer yet I do know that. I know what I need to work on. I will get better trust me. Since many people asked what I do to train my voice… What I did was watching A LOOT of TH-cam videos such as „how to improve singing“ After watching that I started to sing songs I love everyday and then realized where my weaknesses are in singing which was for example breathing properly and runs and riffs also singing high, falsetto and all that so I made a Plan. Like a workout plan. The TH-camr “Jacobs vocal academy” saved my life he has a looot of videos of like “Chest voice workout, falsetto workout, runs and riffs workout“ and so on. So I made a Plan which consists a certain different vocal workout everyday. For example Monday: Chest voice Tuesday: Head voice Wednesday: mixed voice And so on… I also included the „daily beginner vocal exercises“ which I really recommend. Before every workout I did a vocal warm up also from “Jacobs vocal academy and after the actual workout I did a cool down. And after all that workout I sang many songs with Piano or guitar to practise actually singing songs. It’s very hard to force yourself every single day to do your plan which you will put together yourself. You have to be Consistent that’s key.
Dude don't be so tough on yourselves. Like you are singing some REALLY high songs, tbh I dont know why you started with them lol. I don't think you quite understand how hard the songs you are trying to sing are.
Like you're very lucky that even at the start you had a pretty high range. You may not end up like say Bruno Mars, but considering your starting point, you aren't bad at all.
I'm just go to sleep with TH-cam On and your screams like dinosaur wake me up 6:20am lol xd but I still wake up to see the video idk why.. is really honestly the work you do.. maybe a couching help you so much.
I knew you could train your voice to sound better. But I had no idea it could be at this extent. I thought singing was just something you're naturally born with. This is actually really inspiring.
everybody's voice can sound great just need to find the right type for your voice. Not everybody can sing like Celine Dion/JB (and theres alot of them singing on the streets/bars) but that does not mean your voice cant be iconic(ed sheeran, dua lipa etc). Practice the extent of your voice, once you can use it on command just put soul and musicality then congrats your a singer. Fame on the other hand takes lots of luck and more.
To hit high notes you gotta open your jaw downwards and increase air velocity. Maximize the surface area your larynx can produce sound. Don't stretch your neck and DEFINITELY don't look up. Look straight forward and keep your chin down. You'll get there champ. I'm a low baritone (possibly bass) but can comfortably hit high tenor parts. It just takes a little getting used to
@@hexxic8902 xD wasn't trying to be lol but I can see how it can come across like that. The other "transformations" I've seen, they were at a decent level to start lol
I agree and its definitely not a backhanded thing. This feels like a much more honest singing transformation than so many other videos, other videos tend to jump heaps or hide the bad parts but it doesnt feel like thats happening here
Ngl I kinda liked his voice before. It definitely wasn't awful lol, especiallyhis first attempt. It wasn't too good though, especially the belting and Intense bits. His transformation was amazing though
Not amazing, lol. Not even close to that. But def better. He's never going to be amazing. I can tell. Singing is a natural born talent. You can learn to sing, but only the ones that are naturally talented are the ones that make it.
king of being honest with his progess and showing people what it takes to actually get better at singing. i was like this too 😂 i was dogshit at singing at first but did yt warm ups every day for 1-3 hours for 2 years and now i'm pursuing a solo career as an artist. anything is possible with persistence!
This is a prime example of showing anybody has the capability of singing. It’s all about practice and patients with yourself. I’m happy and very impressed about your progress and I hope you continue to impress👍🏻
I have never sang once in my life, i always thought that it was necessary to have a good voice to strat singing. Do you think i can Learn to sing even tho i have no talent or a good voice to begin with ?
@@therandom8526 Of course! Even if you just started learning, you still have a capacity of singing. Whether from a young or older age, each person has their own starting point. And excuse me? Just who exactly said you have no talent? Everyone has certain skills that they are capable of. Maybe you just haven’t found out what it is yet; you could be doing it without realizing it.
😻 I'm 52 yrs old and have wanted to sing my whole life but never thought I would ever be good enough so I never pursued it. Watching this video I actually broke down crying because of your courage and determination. You have shown me just what it looks like to be brave and I hope I can live by your example. Thank you for showing me what is possible.
I'm 54 now, started 19 months ago, It was a long painful TH-cam journey for me, loads of frustrations along the way, but here I am today and I can pretty much sing 95% of most songs now. If your going to do it, just save some cash and get vocal lessons. I managed to do it via TH-cam and Various Online Courses, but if I could go back in time now, 12 lessons would have given me enough to correct all the things I was doing wrong. I can now sing low, high, mixed voice, it all came together for me, so it is definitely possible, as long as you still have a head voice, i.e, can talk like mickey mouse, its not too late to be able to belt high notes, in a fuller sounding chesty mix, once you learn how to do it.
You can do it! I started a year or 2 ago. I sound a lot better than I did before It's all about doing the exercises and applying yourself. People will say stuff but keep going because a baby don't care if it looks foolish when it's learning to walk, it keeps going. You can do it. You have time on your side
@@HighTimeQ Totally agree, and people need to realise, its not a quick process. It takes time, it takes dedication, you need to do the exercises Daily and most important, do them correctly. Breath Support, Resonance, Placement, pharyngeal are all things I wish I had learnt in the first few months, and done the exercises on the back of them. If you do the exercises without learning all that stuff first, 9/10 you will be singing from your throat and doing them wrong and getting no where. I wish I could go back 2 years and tell my younger self this.
and it still is possible for you too ma dude. you still have 8 years before you turn 60 and thats more than enough time to get good at anything in the world. plus im sure you'll have 30 more years of life after those 60, so I would say go for it! and become the inspiration resultant of an inspiration. its the only way to keep the loophole of dreams coming true alive
As a voice and piano teacher, I’m so proud of your determination and progress! And you stuck with if even through much frustration (every musician has been in the same position). It is brave to be able listen to yourself and be objectively critical so as to make necessary improvements, regardless of how much it makes yourself cringe! What more, sharing it on TH-cam! Congratulations, you are well on your way to being a great singer and musician! You’re doing great, keep at it!
I wanna ask u please My voice(my normal voice while talking or singing a simple song ) is really awful I do love singing but everytime I get confused of my voice , should I give up?
@@farah-bk9lfno, don’t give up! Everybody can improve, with know-how and practice. Take some lessons with a teacher. If you’re having trouble with talking also, that probably means (but I’m guessing because I haven’t heard you) you are not breathing enough and not using your air efficiently. Speak and sing using your breath and air flow. Gently blow over your finger and make sure you have a similar airflow when singing. Take better breaths and speak/sing with energy. Again, I’m guessing. Good luck, hope it helps some. But I suggest voice lessons.
I don’t think anyone should ever be ashamed of their voice. You know the saying that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, for me, the voice is the gateway to the heart. This timeline of your voice is a reflection of how you’ve grown as a person, even if I don’t know what you’ve been through. My point is as humans we all grow, our hearts mend more easily as the more pain we feel the more we are able to come to terms with it and be stronger. We become better people much like our voice becomes better. The voice is a reflection of you, your identity and what you love, and from what I can hear… it’s bloody beautiful mate, keep it up ❤
i know this was meant in a complimentary way and i'm not trying to criticise your analogy (although I guess that's what im doing), but personally to me that makes it sound like if your voice is ugly, so are you, your identity and what you love, which understandably creates more insecurity/shame. but the growth analogies are very nice and true, and I also believe David has a gorgeous voice
@@nel2670 It’s not a subject of beauty, just because someone sounds slightly pitchy or has an unpleasant sounding voice, their voice is their voice, and the fact it is still their voice is what is beautiful, one’s own identity is still something to be proud of and plus voices can always be improved upon, how far it gets them is subjective. My point is there is no ugly voice, at least for me, think about it, sometimes especially in Musical Theatre or any kind of Acting, voices are all for the purpose of shaping the character so whether it is unpleasant on the ears, it’s still serving it’s purpose that sticks with you and perhaps endears you to it
@@LittleOwl2003I think your point of view is flawed it makes someone drown in stagnation i get what you are trying to say but it gives me this uneasy feeling like its removing all the effort that this person did to get better with his voice, sounds like you are trying to romaticizing something that shouldnt be romanticized in this case pure determination and perseverance to reach his goal.
I am what is called a natural singer but I don’t sing very much. I have a good starting point for an unpracticed, untrained singer. I was better than you when you started for sure but I think you’ve definitely passed me and you should be really proud of what you’ve accomplished. My insecurities stopped me but you shouldn’t let yours stop you. You are better than most. Keep pushing
@@Y2KQuan You don’t know anything about me. I am not a professional-grade singer. I am someone who naturally has an ear and base level ability for singing. I am better than the average untrained singer but that does not mean I am an excellent singer. I just have less barriers to developing as a singer than someone who doesn’t have an ear for notes, can’t utilize consistent vibrato, etc.
From one stranger to another.. You have a lot of courage, and I applaud you for being vulnerable enough to show your transformation. But this also proves how consistency and hard work can pay off. Keep singing and improving; plus you’re definitely talented at playing musical instruments.. Good Job! Keep up the hard work!
Hey man, it's normal to feel frustrated. I've been singing basically since I was born and took a bit of voice lessons. And I noticed that alot of ur problem really stems from ur anxiety. I recommend trying to relax even on high notes. It will feel a little awkward and counter intuitive since you wanna be louder and higher, but when you try to sing louder and essentially scream the song, it leads to poor control and technique. I hope this helps, keep it up king.
@@goldenhourss The ugly truth is that our recordings will always sound worse than what we hear 😔. But regarding support. Besides just learning songs and making sure to take breaths between lines. While breathing, you expand ur stomach but not ur chest. This ensures ur chest has breathing room and lets you have better control. If ur struggling to take in air fast while singing, another tip is to breathe with ur nose and ur mouth at the same time. I personally don't do this as I don't really struggle with breath management nowadays. Hope it helps
I've been singing for 2 years too. The beginning is brutal but you eventually start to get it. I'm glad you posted this, It's a realistic transformation of consistent work.
@@ix5942 so what if it takes 10 years? Nothing good comes easily! In 10 years you would look back and think, "damn, I wish i started back then!". And even if you just spend 1 year practicing, you would be much better than however you are right now. :)
I think from the very start you had the right idea of how to sing without damaging your voice. Sometimes that's the hardest thing for singers to find out and i respect you that you did
@@chadshowdown9382 I think it's about using the right technique. Not putting all the pressure on the throat, releasing and letting all the force come from the diaphragm. It's a more physical thing that you have to get into touch with, some take years and others take weeks.
i think those parts where you catch yourself laughing are so wholesome haha like although you may think it's embarrassing everyone makes mistakes and thats how you learn and if you can make light of a small mistake instead of putting yourself down it's so beautiful and much better because you just laugh about it and move on haha
The best sound to come out is when you can sing comfortably. No need to chase after a higher note. Good job on the training, this is much more realistic than some fake vids out there.
Keep going man. I didn't even know you could practice singing. I always thought it was something you had or didn't. You've changed my perspective, so I'm very grateful.
Some of the best singers are the ones who just kept trying and practicing.. those who stick to it usually can sing in the end. There are very few natural singers. Selina was one. Elvis couldn't sing for crap and people told him to shut up when he was young.
Gotta say it brings a tear to my eye. I'm in the exact same situation you were at the very beginning. I thought I could sing until I recorded myself and heard how absolutely awful I sounded haha! It kinda broke my heart and I quit singing for about a month. I honestly even just quit talking. I felt I didn't deserve to speak, cause I've been singing for a lot of my life. Nothing serious just basic singing. And I still sounded like a deaf dog. But the last two years I've been really wanting to get lessons. And just yesterday I'm finally getting back into singing again. I just wanted to say thank you, I needed this video to show me it really is a process. This helps my anxiety just a little, bless 🙌
I am shocked at how much you improved by 2023? I was like: "dang ... it's possible to change to much at singing". I was super impressed! You worked so hard! I feel like you are the example of constant hard work.
DUDE THIS IS HELLA INSPIRATIONAL!!!!!!! Ok, it's decided, Imma learn how to sing. I've been thinking about it for a while now, this video was just what I needed! Less thinking, more doing! And you're seriously awesome man, keep up the great work!!!
You are sooo brave, you truly inspire me. I have been wanting to sing since I was 16 yrs old and never followed that dream. Had a chance to join a vocal camp with Seth Riggs but life hit me with responsability to be a grown up and take care of myself, now at almost 35 I spend hours following my favourite artist and watching tons of covers, I try to sing along but i song like im killing a cat and my neighbors and wife probably have nightmares. Thank you for being soo encouring to the ones that dont have the valor. I applaud you for you hard work and persistance, you truly make me want to start doing this every day. You probably wont read this but you have move something within me to get off my ass and follow one of my dreams. Thank you so much I hope to see more videos of your progress, many blessings to you.
I relate so much! Hearing the audio back can be really hard. It makes any flaws obvious and shoves them in your face. I struggle to keep the motivation up but your video is inspiring, you did improve a lot in 2 years! Congrats to you!
Dude, your struggle and doubts/frustration throughout the video feel so relatable to me. I've been experiencing something similar by trying to learn how to make music on my own and trying to learn how to draw. I've also always wanted to learn how to sing and even though I would be starting 3 years later in life than when you started you've shown me that it is possible.
BROOOOOO, YOU REALLY GAVE ME HOPE BACK. Just today I was about to give up on my path to singing well, but watching your video everything changes for me and I know that I can still achieve that dream that I pursue 🙌🏽
"Even though I felt totally dumb and naive and knew that I sound horrible I felt an obsession towards singing. I loved it. It gave me a sense of... being free?" This. I'm just starting out on my own journey, and I'm definitely going through it, but there is that sense of freedom, of...I don't know, lightness? It just feels so good and uplifting to sing. Can't stop now, even though I know I'm bad. Thank you for this video, I didn't know how much I needed it.
Ngl, I was still cringing by the end. The beginning was at least funny bad, but the rest felt uncomfortable to watch because I know dude was genuinely trying but it’s just not good
Wow, talk about a transformation!! I don't know you, but i'm super proud of you! I know how hard this journey can be. I felt like I was watching myself in most parts. Self-doubt and frustration can be hard to deal with when this is your dream and you feel unworthy. Thank you for showing us this rawness and being real. It's nice to feel seen.
I love that you laugh when you first started but looking at how more serious and frustrated you become as time goes by, remind me of myself when I'm stuck. Those feeling are not good for ur growth, no matter what u do try and enjoy it. Remember to always have fun as you go.
Honey, this is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your transformation. It actually brought tears to my eyes. This gives me hope that I can learn to sing too.
My singing coach says that you can know if you are meant to be a singer or not... if you want to sing more than anything, like a burning desire...you are a singer, you just need a coach and plenty of consistant practice.
You are the textbook example of an inspiration. I started my singing journey back in 2021 after I got a guitar, and I began recording my voice every few months, and while there is a noticeable improvement, YOUR progress has given me the drive to really shoot for it. Thanks for sharing this.
It’s so cool how you documented your progress. I also like the factors you talked about like certain singing aspects, and the social aspects. I resonated with lots of them too, so thank you for sharing.
This is super inspiring. You go from sounding like how most of us do to being able to ACTUALLY sing: with great tone, sustain, projection and smooth licks. Time to annoy my neighbours I think! :'D
This moved me to tears 😭 this feels like my story.. but I’m not yet quite there where you are now.. but this makes me never wanna give up! Thank you! 🥺🥹🫶🏼 You sing beautifully btw!🎉
I resonated so much with you. It is sad to face the realities of frustrations and anxieties, but there are no better ways to disattach them from oneself than pushing through. I am really happy to see you at this point of your and my life too. Thank you. I need nothing more from life.
You better sing!!! I am learning that shouting is the enemy when trying to go for big notes I used to shout and lose control but when you lower your volume it’s beautiful.
Thank you so much for this. There are hardly any videos of voice transformations online, and it's really helpful to use this as a reference as I train my voice for the same goals. Your voice is really beautiful and I admire your dedication!!
Hey David! I'm not sure if you'll see this but you're doing an amazing job. You've improved so much over the past two years and I hope that you never give up on your dreams of becoming an even better singer than you already are. The truth about singing is that it's way more difficult than people may realize and I'm so happy to see that you have the determination to keep practicing and improving. There will always be difficulties and room for improvements or adjustments as you age but KEEP GOING! KEEP PROGRESSING! I hope to see you on a huge stage one day, telling everyone your story and showing us all what the power of hope, discipline and faith can produce. Also, you're still young, so please be patient with yourself! If you could accomplish this much now, imagine how much you'll be in the future. I pray that God blesses you abundantly and that all your dreams come true!
This gives me a lot of motivation. I have always wanted to be able to sing properly. I used to kinda sing well when I was a kid. As I hit puberty, I stopped singing in front of people. Those who had always been heard me singing in karaokes were shocked that they rarely to almost never hear me sing again. My relatives always want me to try singing again in karaokes but I always refuse cause I'm not confident. I still really want to sing again, but time had already passed and I already lost my confidence. Watching this gives me hope again into singing. I wanna try to get my confidence back, I'mma practice again.
The fact that today I also didn’t wanna run away from my dream and starting following my first voice lesson on TH-cam and after practicing and recording I already felt like giving up. The universe doesn’t want me to quit lol. I totally relate to the feeling of being insecure and wanting to not tell anyone that I want to start singing. The problem is I don’t have a studio or the perfect time and place to sing freely like you do but I’ll still try.
This video is actually perfect ❤ from day 1 till 2023 you showed us it's always ok to restart thing's again 💕thank you so much motivating us... I am obsessed with ur new cover 😍
Not sure who said it, but i quote it: "Nobody is born with talent. Thats a bag full of shit. Its ALOT of practice behind that voice. And anybody, can find their own voice, if they put time into searching for it" This proves him right. Good job, keep it going and never give up. 👍🙏
Alot of people are born with talent, my sister literally lives with me and does not practice singing. Just has a naturally good singing voice. She sings much better than this guy. And he put in 2 years of practice. Its reality, some people just got it like that, some dont and have to put in way more effort.
thank you for sharing! 👏 I feel the same pain as you did, have the same obsession as you have with your voice and am happy that I am not chasing that "impossible" path alone!
As a grown man I couldn’t workout for 2 months straight, or stick to my piano lessons for more than a month. Your discipline and work ethic is more powerful than your worst sounding note. Your story is so powerful because you started at the bottom and you still have the courage to keep climbing. I don’t know you but I sure do respect you.
I am the same age as you and you did great! I started my journey a few months ago, admittedly starting off much better because I sing alot because of Church. I've made a ton of progress in even 2 months, and this is a huge encouragement to me. Thanks man :)
The first minute or so I died laughing because this is literally me lol! I just started... it's so embarrasing having to listen to yourself. You think you got it, then your hear the recording and just want to sink into the ground. Thank you for the video, it helped my self esteem. I just need time!
Dang. I can feel the pain you've been through. Not losing the will to keep improving and refusing to stay discouraged is a very strong feat. I'm still working on my voice constantly with vocal exercises found on youtube. I still have problems transitioning to my mixed voice smoothly and I find it hard to do riffs and runs. I wish you the best in life and hope that we achieve the results that we so strive for.
This is absolutely beautiful. So proud of you for PUSHING THROUGH! Most people don't have that kind of strength, and you chose to fight for what you truly want and that is to sing beautifully! Your voice is truly amazing!!!
You started with very difficult songs I think. A lot of people think that learning to sing start with singing. But it starts with breath exercices. You are very courageous and passionate. Well done!
David thank you so much for that video, right now I'm very frustrated and I've thought of quitting singing, but this video has gave me motivation enough to continue, thank you so much. On the other hand, you be complaining of being alone and that's all I wish. I think that part of me not improving is because I feel shame to practice, cuz everybody at the house and even the neighbors can hear my dying cry ahahahah
Don't compare, strive for your own meaning and greatness. Your journey has been a pleasure to see. Keep becoming more capable and beautiful. Lots of respect, and wishing you hope and success.
Dude, this is so damn relatable. You are doing such an awesome job and your perserverence is everything. Ive sung alone in the shower, car, cleaning at work, humming when I am bored, and just overall practicing some of my favorite songs whenever I had the chance and the struggle is real. I cant even tell you how many times I have made that EXACT face when I lose that note or it just goes so horribly wrong like (0.o) lol where did that come from! Belting is a huge struggle for me too and getting the right tone is pure torture (ahhh im too nasaly or aaaah im too much like a frog in my throat gahhhh!) But the joy I felt when my partner unprompted told me he though I had a nice voice and should try writing music.... You got this, keep going and inspiring others to follow what they love!
i freakin feel you brother lol, learning to sing by ourselves is not an easy task, im on my sixth year now, and finally im being able of sounding a lil bit like the way i wanted to, but there's still a big road to up ahead, hope you keep getting better, fella
I'm inspired, I appreciate your vulnerability, without sharing those frusting moments I won't have been able to relate. I stopped singing for a while because I gave up. but seeing your transformation has motivated me! also you're young af! your going places
You learned how to manipulate airflow and vocal tension. You can clearly hear it in your voice. That’s typically what ppl that don’t sing well struggle with. Great job at figuring it out on your own. I took the same path. In my opinion, there’s something special about teaching yourself.
I can't imagine what it's like consistently listening to yourself sing for training. I never used to listen to myself sing when I first started out (at a young age) and I shudder anytime I hear myself singing in the past (one year ago+) Good on you!
Wow this is such a raw video and you had such an amazing transformation. Like deadass I felt like I was listening to myself in the beginning, like you sounded like me and your laugh too. Seeing this video inspires me to work even harder to sing better as it's a goal that I would really like to achieve.
Holysht.. You're very inspiring and relatable man. I'm sure this video can't even show the whole struggle that would go through your head every time there's a little down in that rollercoaster of improvement as it is never linear. Keep on going, it looks like you're going in the right direction.
Watching you at the start ... Really struggling through - even though it's embarrassing - we've all been there.. I can't help but think, what a bloody legend pushing through .. Wasn't even expecting the transformation.. unreal, truly inspirational. Bravo

I even put more effort into my songs because not only my singing skills are required but all of my other skills. Its especially really hard because I’m doing everything by myself.
I know it sounds like an annoying Promotion but it would mean the world to me if you can support that since I’m VERY desperate because my lack of marketing skills.
So please feel free to E-mail me: davidtran06@web.de
Or DM me: instagram.com/david.tran06/
Also I saw many comments saying that I should work on my belting because it sounds like I’m screaming. Thank you so much for pointing out and also giving me tips!
I am no brilliant singer yet I do know that. I know what I need to work on. I will get better trust me.
Since many people asked what I do to train my voice…
What I did was watching A LOOT of TH-cam videos such as „how to improve singing“ After watching that I started to sing songs I love everyday and then realized where my weaknesses are in singing which was for example breathing properly and runs and riffs also singing high, falsetto and all that so I made a Plan. Like a workout plan. The TH-camr “Jacobs vocal academy” saved my life he has a looot of videos of like “Chest voice workout, falsetto workout, runs and riffs workout“ and so on.
So I made a Plan which consists a certain different vocal workout everyday.
For example Monday: Chest voice Tuesday: Head voice
Wednesday: mixed voice And so on… I also included the „daily beginner vocal exercises“ which I really recommend.
Keep it up!!!
consistentsy and obsession
I'm just go to sleep with TH-cam On and your screams like dinosaur wake me up 6:20am lol xd but I still wake up to see the video idk why.. is really honestly the work you do.. maybe a couching help you so much.
The coach was a good investment. You improved the most after your lessons. You should shout them out!
I knew you could train your voice to sound better. But I had no idea it could be at this extent. I thought singing was just something you're naturally born with. This is actually really inspiring.
i think more than the voice you need to be born with/obtain the drive to sing to let your voice out
everybody's voice can sound great just need to find the right type for your voice.
Consistency can do a lot for the human body.
If your family loves singing karaoke, Singing will be much easier.
@carlostolibas4541 how do u go about finding ur voice?
Can we please appreciate that this guy also plays piano or guitar while singing, as if that's not making it even more difficult to sing haha
i agree it would be harder
are you kidding justin bieber does it easily
@@SKRUBL0RD Do I hear someone beaing jealous? 😘
You can do it too man, you just gotta put in the work! :)
Absolutely. It makes it exponentially harder!
It’s actually a lot easier. You can stay on pitch much easier.
It just takes a little getting used to
How high can you hit? MY extreme is A4 (not always), and aiming at B4 which feels impossible and frustrating for me ; (
Look up "mixed voice" theres a vid by "studio west" called "develop your blend". I found it super good for singing higher
This is actually a good singing transformation. Gives people realistic ideas.
Bit of a backhanded compliment 😭
I do get what you mean though. It's good to show the level of work it takes for big improvements in these things.
@@hexxic8902 xD wasn't trying to be lol but I can see how it can come across like that.
The other "transformations" I've seen, they were at a decent level to start lol

I sound a lot better than I did before
It's all about doing the exercises and applying yourself.
It's never too late. Take courses with a good coach and sing!
and it still is possible for you too ma dude. you still have 8 years before you turn 60 and thats more than enough time to get good at anything in the world. plus im sure you'll have 30 more years of life after those 60, so I would say go for it! and become the inspiration resultant of an inspiration. its the only way to keep the loophole of dreams coming true alive
I wanna ask u please
My voice(my normal voice while talking or singing a simple song ) is really awful
I do love singing but everytime I get confused of my voice , should I give up?
@@farah-bk9lfno, don’t give up! Everybody can improve, with know-how and practice. Take some lessons with a teacher. If you’re having trouble with talking also, that probably means (but I’m guessing because I haven’t heard you) you are not breathing enough and not using your air efficiently. Speak and sing using your breath and air flow. Gently blow over your finger and make sure you have a similar airflow when singing. Take better breaths and speak/sing with energy. Again, I’m guessing. Good luck, hope it helps some. But I suggest voice lessons.
@@Indigoporcelain I really appreciate ur advice and ur time, thanks a lot for motivating me to look forward, God bless you ✨🌸

Took the words right out of my mouth. A great example of what hard work can achieve
The voice is a reflection of you, your identity and what you love, and from what I can hear… it’s bloody beautiful mate, keep it up ❤
that's a beautiful way to think about the voice.
i know this was meant in a complimentary way and i'm not trying to criticise your analogy (although I guess that's what im doing), but personally to me that makes it sound like if your voice is ugly, so are you, your identity and what you love, which understandably creates more insecurity/shame. but the growth analogies are very nice and true, and I also believe David has a gorgeous voice
My point is there is no ugly voice, at least for me, think about it, sometimes especially in Musical Theatre or any kind of Acting, voices are all for the purpose of shaping the character so whether it is unpleasant on the ears, it’s still serving it’s purpose that sticks with you and perhaps endears you to it
Stay away from my soul, stop trying to look at it
@@LittleOwl2003I think your point of view is flawed it makes someone drown in stagnation i get what you are trying to say but it gives me this uneasy feeling like its removing all the effort that this person did to get better with his voice, sounds like you are trying to romaticizing something that shouldnt be romanticized in this case pure determination and perseverance to reach his goal.
This video is an excellent example of how discipline (and a good coach) can turn you into anything you want. It applies not only to singing.
Your progress is unbelievable. You put your all in practicing and I can see that your just gonna get better.
U ain’t no natural singer lmaoo shhhh
@@Y2KQuan You don’t know anything about me. I am not a professional-grade singer. I am someone who naturally has an ear and base level ability for singing. I am better than the average untrained singer but that does not mean I am an excellent singer. I hope this helps, keep it up king.
can someone learn how to support while singing? i struggle a lot with it and i run out of air lol also the recordings played back really humble my ass
Did you get better after 2 years a lot people say it takes 10 year);
@@ix5942 so what if it takes 10 years? Nothing good comes easily! In 10 years you would look back and think, "damn, I wish i started back then!". And even if you just spend 1 year practicing, you would be much better than however you are right now. :)
I think from the very start you had the right idea of how to sing without damaging your voice. Sometimes that's the hardest thing for singers to find out and i respect you that you did
How do you practice without damaging your voice?
How?
@@chadshowdown9382 I think it's about using the right technique. Not putting all the pressure on the throat, releasing and letting all the force come from the diaphragm. It's a more physical thing that you have to get into touch with, some take years and others take weeks.
i think those parts where you catch yourself laughing are so wholesome haha like although you may think it's embarrassing everyone makes mistakes and thats how you learn and if you can make light of a small mistake instead of putting yourself down it's so beautiful and much better because you just laugh about it and move on haha
This dude the Rock Lee of singers, hard work and determination can overcome anything.

Right on man, those clips of you around 2:08 are actually exactly what you should be doing! Great range extension practice to add to the exercises

The fact that today I also didn’t wanna run away from my dream and starting following my first voice lesson on TH-cam and after practicing and recording I already felt like giving up. You're not alone just today, I thought to myself, maybe I should just retire from singing... But David's brought me to tears. I won't quit.
Great improvement! As a fellow singer and teacher of singing, my heart is so happy you kept going and put in the consistency. Keep going!!!
i freakin feel you brother lol, learning to sing by ourselves is not an easy task, im on my sixth year now, and finally im being able of sounding a lil bit like the way i wanted to, but there's still a big road to up ahead, hope you keep getting better, fella
Description of hard work and building of a dream!!! Glad you never gave up!
Thank you for this. This gives me encouragement when I get discouraged during practice. Time consuming but effort always pays off❤
I cried watching this... You are amazing for doing this for yourself. I'm cheering you on with all of your music goals!! ☺️💕
I never used to listen to myself sing when I first started out (at a young age) and I shudder anytime I hear myself singing in the past (one year ago+)
Good on you!
so much happines and respect for you for posting this its so grounding and heartwarming, very entertaining, calming
I have trouble enhancing my art and trying to get to the level i want it be. You're truly inspiring
Dude this is so inspirational! Thank you for sharing and giving hope!
Wow this is such a raw video and you had such an amazing transformation. Like deadass I felt like I was listening to myself in the beginning, like you sounded like me and your laugh too. Seeing this video inspires me to work even harder to sing better as it's a goal that I would really like to achieve.
Thank you for posting this. So proud of you man you’re an inspiration of hard work resilience persistence and determination
Bravo
omg you sound amazing now , im currently in year one sounding just like when you first started. This video inspired me honestly
