    I fix a lot of my own electronics and I'm telling you right now, when a client is rough with their stuff, these things happen. You have to deliberate and gentle when you handle it.

    Hello mate. I nocked the fuse above the usb port while i was removing the usb port with hot air. Is it possible to bypass this or not? I saw on the sides of the fuse some pads removed but the pads on the motherbord are still in tact. So shoult i bypass the fuse with wires or do i need to wire to the 4 pads on the fuse? Thanks

      There isn't a model number. It's a case of looking online matching up the footprint. I found them on Amazon in the end.

    My port seems to be fairly snug yet I’m having the same issue. Is there anything else it could possibly be? They’re brand new and never used. I followed the video and it when I checked the port she seems pretty snug

    • @UberMicroRepairs
      @UberMicroRepairs  ปีที่แล้ว

      The ports are a tight fit. The plastic comb inside gets pushed and pulled and over time it break the connections soldered to the board. The port can look perfectly fine but can be totally disconnected. We replace with a brand new port, we also reinforce the back to stop the comb from moving.

    Hello everything is fine? I made the repair on the USB part but the Headset is no longer passing DATA, it turns on and works only with its adapter (in the case of use on the PS5), but without the adapter it does not recognize either the PC or the PS5, it It calls but there is no audio and you can't even talk at parties, can you tell me what it could be? The only thing that was repaired was the USB port.

    Awesome Video, my A50 is getting issues every now and then, usually once a month. I have just reattached a cable, but still no charging, I guess it's that micro usb port. Although I have ordered a replacement station now, i would like to try and repair the old one. Is there a list on which tools you used to repair that port? I have the usual soldering stuff, but not that nice cleaning tools etc you use.

      Just take your time and use lots of flux. Some q-tips and 99% IPA will clean up well.

      The ports are a little weak on these dur to the ancor points. However with craful handling they should last. Accidental movment is enough for them to come loose unfortunately.
