(Using Chrome) What I did was right click and opened the link in an incognito window. If it doesn't download click in the address bar and press enter. That just worked for me.

Had to do something similar to this a few months ago. Was able to find a similar download file with an older version of command center just how you walked through. You saved me a bunch of time by uninstalling the original command center and redownloading a functional Astro Command center version. Was able to re-download my old file like you did with the Europa files and it did the trick instantly. Salute brother.

Unfortunatly Im not sure what to do other that keep trying. It failed a few times for me too. Id say try closing all apps and unplug unnecessary usb devices and try again.
This worked for the Gen4's. However, I kept getting stuck on "resetting device" every 25%. Unplugging the dock station and back in seems to work some of the time. Just need to have patience.
Hello, today I got the problem out of the blue without any sense (my headphones were working perfectly a few minutes ago) I do what you say in the reddit photo and in the video but when I add the manual firmware update, it installs and the bar advances 2/4 (about half) and I get the installation error, I repeated it several times and I keep getting that error and it doesn't update... I don't know what to do anymore, I'm desperate

Great video! I tried it didn’t work unfortunately lol. I’m 5 hours in of troubleshooting my a50s won’t charge. They work fine but when I put them on the dock the light is solid white. I’ve tried everything and don’t know what to do.
Man, idk what it is but I will say that I often have to reset my headset and wiggle it around for it to do anything right. 🙄 But! It does end up working. Have you tried holding the dolby button and game up button until it resets? It could also be a battery issue. or just not set on the dock well. Ive had my A50 Gen 3s now for a good 7 years and I still have to fight to get the charge.

Explain what you mean by not fine the updates when you open the manual updates? I'm guessing you can't find the location? If so try DLing the europa file again and keep track of the location.

The Link for the "Astro Command Center" isn't working. Website is NOT found :( i was able to download the firmware and tried to use it on Manual Install for the Windows store Version. Started at 0/4 so i knew it wasn't going to work. Its important to wait for the whole 10mins or so for the error to pop up to avoid "Bricking" your Headset.
I had to do it through the astro website it’s self because I had a Mac not a PC . It failed the first time so I tired it again after it said it would get connection to the base stand. I am plugged it from the power cord and plugged it back in and the car connection allowed me to download the software now it works through USB.
Thanks for the easy to follow video my dude! This is the 2nd pair I've had this issue with.. I returned the last set last October & got a new pair, so can take this set back again as the warranty reset with the swap... Tried your solution though, but I only got to 50%, then it gave an error saying I had multiple Astro devices detected which sadly I dont.. But also, I have a Gen 4 headset, so maybe there's something in that also... Will keep searching for an answer, or may just take these back for a refund & give up on astro headsets!

I think I Figured out why! For anyone having this problem I think my ad blocker was preventing me from downloading the necessary files so I just right clicked>SavefileAs>Keep (in file folders)

ASTRO A50 HEADPHONES FIRMWARE UPDATE ERROR/SOLUTION DOWN BELOW. REASON FOR ERROR WHEN UPDATING: Connected the head set station with the mode still set to Xbox instead of PC. SOLUTION: Closed the app, unplugged the USB cable from the PC. Switched the mode on the charging station to PC instead of Xbox. Connected the USB cable back to the PC, re-opened the app. Then attempted to update…this worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you too.

bro ive followed this video like i was its shadow but still mine keeps giving me an error message any tip you can give me.. when it updates it says in the top left corner "astro a50 headset disconnected" it'll re connect but it'll keep doing that then it'll say firmware update error. there must be a bad batch of these things out there idk....i really was looking forward to using this headset but until theres a fix im just going to have to return mine. i have a set of a40's i hinestly just liked the wireless aspect of it, the sound, ect...
I had managed to get the update rolling thanks to this. However it seems that the update itself isn't actually compatible with PS5. It shows up in the mic settings, but it won't allow me to use the headset for audio unfortunately. Everything that this tutorial showed worked great though, thanks for the help!
In my case I tried many times attempting to update the firmware, re-installing the Astro App... Was a nightmare resetting the base station at least 50 times.... I used a second computer with windows 10 instead of 11. Still I had to reset many times the base station, eventually it recovered... hopefully it last long before it gets broken again.
Hi mate, i am having issues? my headset has been like this for over a year unable to update, i followed your GUIDE for the astro a50 gen 4, as soon as i open the astro command centre it ask me to update lastest version i click ok and it instaly fails? then i need to unplug headset replug for it to be detected? i also then have attempted to download and manual add the thing u suggested to download but the GEN 4 version and boom same issue? this is just annoying, ive emailed ASTRO the day i bought them with no help really, i have posted on reddit mutiple times, its just annoying i cannot update or control my microphone level with these headset and i spent nearly $500 AUD on this when i bought them, i enjoyed using my astro a40s reason i upgraded to these and have had nothing but bloody issues.
So yea, a40s have always been a better more reliable headset. Just missing the wireless function. 2nd, if I read correctly you did download it from the links provided? Or from the MS store? Also try again.
Man, I have the same problem for 4 days. It does not give me the latest update, it stops at 50 or 75, and it does not give me the latest update, and the headphone does not work.

Hmm have you tried right clicking and opening the link that way? Do you have administrative privileges? Maybe try downloading it to your phone and transferring it that way. Let me know if this helped.
I have updated my Mixamp ProTR's firmware 36789 and it is not being picked up as a headset on the Xbox series when connected via USB. Is anyone else having this issue, I have tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions?

I just fix it on accident. Check the update before clicking yes because the headset update is 1 of 1. The Base station update is 4 of 4. I kept updating the 4 of 4 update when I need the HEADSET update which is 1 of 1. Now everything works I haven't used my headset for over a year. I been using a shitty 100 headset :( SO HAPPY NOW :) What I did was kept deleting the astro command center after every error from the 4 of 4 update then finally I got my HEADSET 1 of 1 update I needed and now everything works.
@@tjproduceditii idk how I did it but I had to click update manually instead of automatically because everytime I open the command center it would update automatically. idk why it gave me the headset update this time.
I will tell you my experience in solving the update problem, which stops at 75%. I tried everything, but it was not satisfactory. However, since I had adjusted the action before, the update reached me, thank God. The way I solved it is to bring an electronics cleaner spray or an alcohol cleaner and a better brush, which is copper. Why copper? Because you need it to clean the screws of the headphone charging seat by spraying it with a cleaner in the place of the charging screws on the base. Try to disconnect it from the power source and clean it gently so that the screws do not break. Also, clean with the spray or alcohol the copper contact point on the headphone and the head with a brush. Also, as a simple addition, try to repair a very small scratch in the copper in the headphone. I will tell you why in brief, because cleaning helps remove deposits and carbon stuck in the headphone charging source and the base, which causes the update not to connect to the headphone perfectly. بقولكم تجربتي في حل مشكلة التحديث ويوقف عند 75 بالميه جربت كل شي مارضي بس من سويت الحركه ذي قبل معي التحديث على طول والحمد لله والطريقه اللي سويتها هي جيب بخاخ منظف الكترونيات او منظف كحولي وفرشه الأفضل تكون نحاسيه ليه نحاسيه لان تحتاجها في تنظيف مسامير القاعد اللي تشحن السماعه بخ بامنظف مكان مسامير الشحن بالقاعدة وحاول تفصلها عن مصدر الطاقه ونظفها بشويش عشان لاتكسر المسامير وكمان نظف بالبخاخ او الكحول نقطه التلامس النحاسيه في السماعة الراس بالفرشاه وكمان اضافه بسيطه حاول تسوي خدش بسيط جدا في النحاس الموجود بسماع الراس وبقولك ليش بختصار لان التنظيف يساعد في ازاله الرواسب والكربون العالق بمصدر شحن سماعه الراس والقاعدة ويسبب عدم توصيل التحديث للسماعه بشكل ممتاز

reddit would not let me download link for update, had to right click link, open in new window, then highlight link in address bar, hit enter, and it would download. then was able to update

ASTRO A50 HEADPHONES FIRMWARE UPDATE ERROR/SOLUTION DOWN BELOW.
REASON FOR ERROR WHEN UPDATING:
Connected the head set station with the mode still set to Xbox instead of PC.
SOLUTION:
Closed the app, unplugged the USB cable from the PC. Switched the mode on the charging station to PC instead of Xbox. Connected the USB cable back to the PC, re-opened the app. Then attempted to update…this worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you too.

Fix that worked for me: fw updated kept failing. I had to download astro software to another laptop and I was able to update the headset

Thanks for asking but unfortunately I don't own an A40 mixamp. I wish I did sometimes cuz A50s are ok but A40s seem to be more relyable.
bro ive followed this video like i was its shadow but still mine keeps giving me an error message any tip you can give me.. when it updates it says in the top left corner "astro a50 headset disconnected" it'll re connect but it'll keep doing that then it'll say firmware update error. there must be a bad batch of these things out there idk....i really was looking forward to using this headset but until theres a fix im just going to have to return mine. i have a set of a40's i hinestly just liked the wireless aspect of it, the sound, ect...
The only thing I can think of is a bad connection to the headset and basestation.
I had managed to get the update rolling thanks to this. However it seems that the update itself isn't actually compatible with PS5. It shows up in the mic settings, but it won't allow me to use the headset for audio unfortunately. Everything that this tutorial showed worked great though, thanks for the help!

In my case I tried many times attempting to update the firmware, re-installing the Astro App...
Was a nightmare resetting the base station at least 50 times.... I used a second computer with windows 10 instead of 11. Still I had to reset many times the base station, eventually it recovered... hopefully it last long before it gets broken again.

Hi mate, i am having issues? my headset has been like this for over a year unable to update, i followed your GUIDE for the astro a50 gen 4, as soon as i open the astro command centre it ask me to update lastest version i click ok and it instaly fails? then i need to unplug headset replug for it to be detected? i also then have attempted to download and manual add the thing u suggested to download but the GEN 4 version and boom same issue? this is just annoying, ive emailed ASTRO the day i bought them with no help really, i have posted on reddit mutiple times, its just annoying i cannot update or control my microphone level with these headset and i spent nearly $500 AUD on this when i bought them, i enjoyed using my astro a40s reason i upgraded to these and have had nothing but bloody issues.
So yea, a40s have always been a better more reliable headset. Just missing the wireless function. 2nd, if I read correctly you did download it from the links provided? Or from the MS store? Also try again.

I have updated my Mixamp ProTR's firmware 36789 and it is not being picked up as a headset on the Xbox series when connected via USB. Is anyone else having this issue, I have tried everything I can think of.

For some reason the astro A50 GEN4 link is not working. Any fixes or work around? I can't seem to find anything online unless I'm dumb and looking in the wrong places 😄
Try on another computer or phone and transfer. Or browser. May have to open in private/incognito mode or clear your cache
I just fix it on accident. Check the update before clicking yes because the headset update is 1 of 1. The Base station update is 4 of 4. I kept updating the 4 of 4 update when I need the HEADSET update which is 1 of 1. Now everything works I haven't used my headset for over a year. I been using a shitty 100 headset :( SO HAPPY NOW :)
What I did was kept deleting the astro command center after every error from the 4 of 4 update then finally I got my HEADSET 1 of 1 update I needed and now everything works.

@@tjproduceditii idk how I did it but I had to click update manually instead of automatically because everytime I open the command center it would update automatically. idk why it gave me the headset update this time.
I will tell you my experience in solving the update problem, which stops at 75%. I tried everything, but it was not satisfactory. However, since I had adjusted the action before, the update reached me, thank God. The way I solved it is to bring an electronics cleaner spray or an alcohol cleaner and a better brush, which is copper. Why copper? Because you need it to clean the screws of the headphone charging seat by spraying it with a cleaner in the place of the charging screws on the base. Try to disconnect it from the power source and clean it gently so that the screws do not break. Also, clean with the spray or alcohol the copper contact point on the headphone and the head with a brush. Also, as a simple addition, try to repair a very small scratch in the copper in the headphone. I will tell you why in brief, because cleaning helps remove deposits and carbon stuck in the headphone charging source and the base, which causes the update not to connect to the headphone perfectly.

جيب بخاخ منظف الكترونيات او منظف كحولي وفرشه الأفضل تكون نحاسيه ليه نحاسيه لان تحتاجها في تنظيف مسامير القاعد اللي تشحن السماعه بخ بامنظف مكان مسامير الشحن بالقاعدة وحاول تفصلها عن مصدر الطاقه ونظفها بشويش
عشان لاتكسر المسامير وكمان نظف بالبخاخ او الكحول نقطه التلامس النحاسيه في السماعة الراس بالفرشاه وكمان اضافه بسيطه حاول تسوي خدش بسيط جدا في النحاس الموجود بسماع الراس وبقولك ليش بختصار لان التنظيف يساعد في ازاله الرواسب والكربون العالق بمصدر شحن سماعه الراس والقاعدة ويسبب عدم توصيل التحديث للسماعه بشكل ممتاز
