      Iris you better know what is the difference between Irish and Aryans.
      Ok leave it.
      But the thing you should know is ..
      patanjali was not a real yoga guru but kapila maharishi wrote yoga suthra in Dravidian or Prakrit Dravidian language long before
      Patanjali.
      And kapila was belongs to Dravidian family.
      You know fighting skills of dravidians kalarie pattu modern karate or Kung fu ( bodhi dharman was the guru and he belongs to Dravidian family. A Tamilian guy. ) In modern days you might saw that before gym workouts they do stretching.
      Like that in India every soldiers include king must learn yoga first. Peace of mind and flexible body helps you more in defence.
      Okay for furthermore information please come to south India. Learn the real yoga.

      C= Concentration
      M= Meditation
      S= Samadhi
      Sy= Samayama
      Or simply put:
      C+M= S
      C+M+S= Sa
      The process of focusing mind on any point or object is called Concentration.
      The process of continued Concentration with respect to time is called Meditation.
      When Meditation deepens and the meditator overtime loses the sense of time and gets deeply involved in the flow of Meditation is called Samadhi.
      When the meditator loses himself from the point or object he is meditating and the point or object concentrated upon 'shines and illuminates' (cannot be explained in words) is called Samayama.
      To use an anology,
      Like the rays of the Sun, our thoughts are scattered and dispersed in all directions, we keep thinking about all kinds of things directionlessly.
      Like a ray of a Sun, our thought wave is called as 'Vritti'
      Like the rays of the Sun are concentrated upon a point can burn that point on paper,
      So the Magnifying glass is doing is Concentration, the continued Concentration until it burns is Meditation, when it starts burning onwards is Samadhi, when the fire spreads and all the paper is burning 'illumination or shines' in itself is called Samayama. I call it CMSS.

      what u did is excellent . Yoga sutras are not part of original Vedic scriptures. There is only Yog (union with God) and for that you just need Thapasya / Penance/ Meditation. no where in vedic scriptures Arjun, Hanuman practiced upside down yog asana's they only did Penance/meditation in the forest. th-cam.com/video/PA-Zarv-Quo/w-d-xo.html

      Raja Sekhar I don't do any asanas at all.. I only concentrate on my actions.. whether it is within my means and am I doing according to righteousness. Whether I like it or not is immaterial. I don't let my personal opinion influence my duty. In the event I am wrong I don't hesitate to correct it no matter what it takes. I am answerable to God, actually my dealings are with God only. Mind, Soul and Body is in harmony. One must be peaceful with one self.

    NICE VIDEO explains a lot . YOGA originates from Shiva and is a METHOD and TEACHING of spiritual development for humans.
    IMPORTANT correction: mind or manas IS NOT CONSCIOUSNESS, mind/chitta can be dissolved whereas consciousness is untouchable and undestructible by any phenomena of the cosmos and consciousness is finer than the element ether, it is limitless or infinite ... this confusion arises when not practising raja yoga to the end ....
    however the general understanding for any average person is of value ... recommended: raja yoga of Vivekananda

    Thank you for this needed visual exposition of Yoga-Vedanta. And my profound gratitude to the lineage of Indian sages from Vyasa to Valmiki, whose previous embodiment as Ratnakara gives us ample details of how he went from being a degraded criminal to reaching the state of Enlightenment. It is tragic to see how western philosophers have missed the opportunity for expounding on the Yogic psychology ways to progress from the deepest states of degradation to the highest goal of human potential. This is Yoga, a multi-systems journey from instinctive animal (pashu) to the blossoming of its full potential (Pashupati). And I would disagree on one point, it does not take a lifetime, it takes lifetimes! However, for those who follow the path of Bhakti, time-space-causation can fold into the instantaneous revelation of I am, Direct Experience by the power of Divine Grace, aka Grace of Guru.
    May all be Blessed!
    Om Tat Sat!

    FUN FACT, the word yoke in English meaning "to join", originated from the Germanic language which was basically derived from the word "yoga" in Sanskrit as the primary Indo-European language.
    Likewise, the word "sutures" used in medicine today, orginated from Latin, which was derived from the word "sutra" in Sanskrit, both of course referring to "stitches holding together".

    Very well explained!! Thanks for explaining such a complex topic, in a simple, Indian (I seriously doubt any1 who isn't from/in India will understand not only the accent, but the essence of this video) concise and complete way. From my corner of the US, the critique in me, gives this a definite thumbs UP. Well spoken, clear, informative, educational & satisfying. Practicing Yoga is basically practicing (an attempt at) "wholistic" wellness. Balancing the mind & body by combining the spirit - Not religion, spirit (that spark within us that sits dormant until it's properly activated.) In Yoga, SELF mastery (truly knowing / realizing the self) is the aim & SELF control is key - Controlling others becomes unnecessary & redundant in the process.
    Sadly, in the west, where taking control & ego gratification is rampant - Yoga is not only misrepresented but totally misunderstood. Pretzel poses, exercise classes/routines, "shakraa" mumbo-jumbo (that word annoys me most..... It's "chakkra" mispronounced, commercialized and then fashionably flaunted) and other money-making practices have taken yoga from being a highly sensitive, sensible and permanent way of life, to being a temporary routine that money can buy.

      If this is a research then you must be gullible.
      Please seek the truth. Patanjali have taken the work of thirumoolar and translated it in Sanskrit. If you don’t know. Thirumoolar who is one of the great siddha wrote Thirumanthiram and yoga sutras are extracted from that.

      Patanjali was not a real yoga guru..
      He stole everything from kapila .
      Kapila was Dravidian guy. Yoga belongs to shiva . Shiva (linga) was more popular in South india.
      Those Aryans took everything from us and pasted new labels on it but with their name.

    The best practice of yoga is practice every time everywhere: when you are dancing in a club or hangout with friends, laughing, crying, going to your daily things in public transport in rush hours - every time just remember that, remember Shiv, Vishnu and Brahma as a union. Just realize but do not be so serious

      @TheContrariann ปีที่แล้ว

      (C+M)×S =Sy or [C+M+S=Sy] 🧘‍♂️
      C= Concentration
      M= Meditation
      S= Samadhi
      Sy= Samayama
