Hi, I am thinking of getting a 1995 model, in here they are called land cruiser II. The engine is kz... and it is LX (I think this means it is less equipped, though I am not sure. Anyway, I was wandering if you could give me pointers as to what should be a deal breaker, if there is something wrong with the engine for example, is relatively easy to fix.. is it prone to leaking, etc etc.. just about anything you could think could help me. And I think I already know the answer, but could I get this car and have it "forever" (obviously taking care of it)
I would watch out for rust and corrosion on the undercarriage. Also, try to see if the engine's been well maintained with frequent oil changes. Otherwise, these are pretty tough to destroy!

The 1KZ is basically the 4 cylinder version of the 1HZ with an aluminium head
