    If youre buying this: not all m-atx mobo's + 360 aio's fit in the top. Had to do side 360 aio due to RAM clearance.

    Awesome thankyou. This case looks just what I need for a bit of "downsizing" and I am impressed how flexible it is.

    I can't thank you enough for showing the clearance between a 160mm PSU and 329mm GPU.
    I really needed a visual as to what extent certain parts can fit before downsizing one or the other.
    Great video.

    This case could and should become the case that pre-built companies use. The flexibility of this case would make it possible to create almost any build for any customer.

    Great review! I've seen a couple and as usual yours is the most detailed. Would be good to include some air-cooled stuff even just to show what it looks like with a large air cooler but great info regarding radiator compatibility and case quality.Thanks!

    Actually, I would prefer to see the compatibility and cooling performance of air cooling in this case. Currently, the videos on TH-cam all opt for water cooling.

      Sorry to spoil that video when you find it but it will be fine, and will look the same only with an air cooler instead of an aio.

      Same here. Feels like Lian lixDan told reviewers what they have to do :D … only found one guy building up with an air cooler

    • @CrazyTechLab
      @CrazyTechLab  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Compatibility is just sub 165mm. There aren't really any other restrictions. Cooling performance will just depend on the size of the cooler/speed of fans and whether you add other fans to the case. TBH though it's more designed for AIO's. There are smaller MATX cases out there that would be better suited to air cooling, albeit maybe with less GPU and CPU cooler compatibility.

    • @jeremyg2236
      @jeremyg2236 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      best config for air cooled setup is rear intake tbh. Otherwise it's still solid option, since the whole case is mesh panel, apart from the front ofc.

    • @lordpotashmallow2443
      @lordpotashmallow2443 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @CrazyTechLab sure, it may have a lot of AIO compatibility, but this is the smallest mATX case I've seen that is able to have this big of an air cooler. Like another commenter said, bottom & rear intake with top (& maybe side) exhaust will work very well with a left to right air cooler. PSU might get a little choked, but it doesn't need that much air anyways.

  • @joshd108
    @joshd108 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I have a similar case but the psu cannot slide down to open up another 120mm spot.
    A 240 aio is plenty for my cpu. I even squeezed in a 120mm aio on my gpu. Made a HUGE difference

  • @after_glow3912
    @after_glow3912 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    probably, putting two arctic p12 slim fans in the bottom, as long as your gpu allows it, will further improve cooling performance by improving the vertical airflow. Love the build!

    • @anhiirr
      @anhiirr 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      id say running an X3D cpu from a pure/gaming build standpoint and yeah some bottom mounted intake fans, would help as well as running a thermalright cpu cooler for less HEAT/RADIATOR in the equation of a build this size. X3D+ good-budget air cooler and imo the window is more viable of an option vs an aio, that combo can support giant cooler gpu which also helps with temps/airflow. IMO a very interesting/niche combination but still better thermals and window/build showcase potential than an itx build. A very hard/medium to offer in practice/execution. Most ppl either go very small SFF builds with low profile coolers with no window/insane cable management implementation or even cusom loops. IMO this chassis is perfect if you want a smaller footprint build but still want to utilize flagship range GPUS....while still having formidable enough air flow to air cool an X3D cpu...with no intake/exhaust obstruction bc of an aio/rad hindering system thermals. While also being able to use a window, where it would mostly be a detriment in an ITX build/chassis to thermals.

    4:17 This is exactly why I dislike tool-free designs. All the flimsiness that tends to come with it and the possibility that your case with pop open while you're handing it. All because people are too lazy to turn a thumbscrew.

    I have that exact PSU and I'm planning to build in this case, do you have any suggestion for the custom PSU cable lengths to reduce cable management? Someone online said I should go with
    450 mm 24 pin ATX
    550 mm EPS/CPU (need 2)
    550 mm pcie 8 pin (need 1)
    550 mm 12vhpwr/12-2x6
    450 mm SATA

      I've requested a sample from ARCTIC so I can hopefully answer that soon and with future builds as I know they're popular. I have a Liquid freezer ii 240 with similar thickness - you'd need to use low height RAM and probably an SFX PSU to lower the PSU bracket another half inch or so.

    it looks like if you put fans on the bottom (which is where the dust filter is), they will block the fourth pci slot. Is that right?

    seems like the perfect chassis with window use largely considered. For a budget range b550m 5700X3D gaming build. Cpu is simple enough to cool with an air cooler, keeping it budget oriented you can run a thermal right 140 if it fits. While using the majority of your build budget towards a flagship/4k range gpu, and a quality PSU from a pure thermals/performance standpoint. While still being able to use the window to showcase your gpu or white build with the asrock B550SE budget board. Have good enough thermals bc the cpu isnt a diva, no intake/exhaust obstruction from an AIO/RAD being mounted. GPU intake fans mounted to the bottom of the chassis possibly with some higher/clearance for the feet-bottom intake. Other than that seems like a pretty awsome little chassis for ppl interested in going with a custom loop. Also looking forward to what range of build ppl take this. My 4070ti Gaming oc is 336mm so PSU fitment would be pretty interesting but still be no issue bc of not needing mounting/clearance for a rad. Just a build/concept for GIANT cooler based AIB/cards which come with their own caveat of thermals/system air flow in scenarios like smaller chassis like this or ITX.

      A 415mm GPU can fit... I have a 4090 suprim x, 13700k, soon to be a 9800x3d in 2 days once it's delivered. 360 ek nucleus, waiting for a water block to come out for the 9800x3d and then will do a custom loop in the case. Plenty of room..

      Should fit a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE no problem, and that's pretty much as good as it gets (and cheap as a bonus).
      I have one in my SAMA IM-01 clone which is a similar design but shorter and less width.

      Anything under the 165mm clearance. So as the guy below says - Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE also Noctua NH-D15, be quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 4.

    I would tend to think you could get noticeably better temps with a different cooling layout. Intaking from top for 1 is gonna suck all the dust down into the case that settles on the top. Then you've only got 1 little exhaust fan in the back and nothing in the bottom at all.
    With psu in side position, mount the AIO on the side panel intaking for optimal cpu cooling without pulling all that dust down, then you can mount full size exhaust fans in the top to get all that hot air out, and then if possible mount fans intaking in the bottom to feed the gpu cool fresh air. Even a couple slim fans on low speed would make a decent difference. 👍
