Thanks for the review. I really like the fact that this comes with a combined pwm/rgb hub. Few retailers in my country has just listed the light loop, but no invidual Light Wings LX fans yet 🤔
I've had this AIO cooler in a new build for about two weeks now. Up to 2300rpm, the pump is absolutely silent. At full speed (2900rpm), the pump is definitely not silent. A high-pitched whirring noise unfortunately.
I have the pure loop 2 and basically its pretty quiet at 4000 rpm but gets a whirring noise at around 5500 rpm, I guess the pure loop has a more powerful motor
@@CrazyTechLab At how much percent where the fans running when u did the noise normalised test ? I want to max them at out that speed. Great Video as always :)
Did you have any idea of the initial liquid level? Otherwise how could you compare? In any case, your single experience doesn't make it relevant, liquid coolant does tend to evaporate in time, some units might be more effected than others, simple as is, given that the h110i doesn't cost any less and is much noisier, I'd go anyways for the be quiet 🤔
@thunderarch5951 The initial level of fluid couldn't be more than full, which was what I've found when opened after 9 years. Do you have experience or know someone who's aio liquid evaporated? Not saying everyone should get the same model, the fans surely were noisy, and you probably can't get it any more. But I can tell that there is no gurgling sounds from the pump or bad thermals due to loss of fluid. Recommend it to a friend after I bought it, and he hasn't reported it giving up. So from where I stand, evaporation in aio's is a myth.
I've yet to find a single aio that has a loud pump. Ive bought lots over the years for my and my family. It's literally nothing you ever have to worry about.
I have Deepcool Mystique 360, the pump runs at 3300rpm and is silent, I have the Deepcool fans running at 600rpm and they are also silent.. My 5900x @idle 32 - 38c.. Never get above 70c at full load.. Depending the ambient temp..
So they dont give refil liquid port on left side aio like always ? In silent loop 2 have same cover but in left side have easy screw to refill liquid. In Light Loop they remove this option only left this cover port ?
Newbie question: are liquid coolers more capable to keep the CPU temperature lower than air coolers? For sake of example, what if we compare this Light Loop with a Dark Rock from be quiet, also in terms of noise? BTW, great video! 👏
A little but in general both are limited by ambient air temperature. A liquid cooler is generally able to transfer heat away from the CPU faster and has a higher heat capacity (water vs air) so it will likely remain cooler and quieter for longer and the bigger the radiator and the more coolant, the longer it will remain quieter for too.
everybody building pcs left and right, and i cant even get a video out on my motherboard... :( replaced ram, psu, motherboard, nothing. only cpu and gpu not replaced, but they are confirmed working in my other pc. stuck with this crap for 3 weeks now.
Does it have liquid temp sensor, that can be used to control radiator fans? I ask because CPU temp is not at all a reason to start fans on radiator. Only if CPU load is long enough to raise the coolant temp by several deg. C then we should start moving air to take it away from the case
Sadly no. Completely agree. Some Software controlled AIOs from Corsair and NZXT use liquid temp. This is a sealed unit and doesn’t have any liquid sensor.
48db and even 41db is WAY too loud for me. Using still a Dark rock 4 with just 28db Wanted to buy a Deepcool Assassin IV because of the white look, but it´s also 34-38db so a Nogo for me. Quiet for me means under 30db. There are no AIO on the market that is quiet.
@@scrinbot unfortunately you cannot compare measurements of manufacturers or indeed any other review noise levels with my sound levels. Everyone will be using different microphones and will be using them at different distances. The only thing you can take away from my sound readings is that the coolers in the graphs are either louder or quieter than one another. That is all. You’re 28dBA dark rock might actually have the same sound level as this AIO. But we won’t know till we test it on the same equipment.
That's not how sound works, and measurements made by manufacturers are made in special chambers that have close to none background noise, which definitely isn't your average house xD Real life noise won't be 28dB, but way higher, don't just compare because of the single data you read, you need actual tests in the dame environment to have a clear idea. Even different tests from different people won't give you the right picture.

Really prefer their precious clean look.
Me too - they're not moving away from that completely but here you get RGB with be quiet's quality I guess

I have a Corsair H110i AIO. I did open it after 9 years of usage. If any liquid evaporated, it wasn't noticeable.
