Man where i live theres tons of people selling these gas bikes. Looks like they threw them together in a hour or two then list it on facebook without even testing or giving it a second thought. Great video. Alot of useful info for newbies!
10:48 I would not say that they are lying. I have worked as a professional bicycle mechanic for two years on all levels of bikes - from trash finds to 15k carbon show pieces. Talked with customers. People are simply that clueless. Your customer said it ran before they brought it in to you. In their head "ran" means it made an engine sound when clutch was engaged. You in your head - ran means propelling you forward with combustion. People are that clueless.
I somewhat agree with your statement, although this particular bike, I was told it was ridden to my door but when we pushed it inside the engine was completely cold so I pretty much knew this wasn't a mistake in communication. Anyway I guess I was mostly bitter because I would have taken a different approach before, I went ahead & repaired the rest of its problems.
Someone thought they could make some money by throwing parts on a bike and sell it for more. Without any additional effort. Your customer should demand their money back from whoever sold them this joke, just to teach them a lesson that this shit doesnt slide.
I agree.. I see this a lot, someone tries to slap one together & then when they go back to see them about their problem that's when most people do the ole disappearing act.. It's sad that people will do that 😥😥
That tuning cylinder head is cool, but that exhaust mufler is tragedy. Try to use expansion chamber. It makes mirracles.
Hey great channel! Great workmanship!
Thanks 🙏🙏

I see this too.. Then some poor soul buys it & has nothing but problems. It's people that do things like that, that give these bikes a bad name.
To quote Jim Bronson while sitting on his XLCH at the traffic light, "well you hang in there"..
I hate Nel Lusso frames, they crack, fracture and break way too easy if you anything going above 25mph. Thanks for sharing.
