Could you confirm (as you also mentioned already) if you don't see any grainy artifacts on the screen specially with white background (e.g. PDF, code, word) ? I've just got a HP Z24q display and the grain shiny stuff of the surface coating is really annoying :(

i do not recomend this monitor ... stupid design the frame is slim and the actual scean is not touching the frame it has some black cover .... STUPID monitor design :) !
