I think the speakers are good. You can adjust the volume of the speakers in the monitor settings. By default it's set to 50. Increasing it to 90- 95 gives a decent output and of course, it won't give you any bass, but it is decent for normal videos
I am not able to find volume setting. Can you please confirm under which options it is available. My speakers doesn't seem to work but its working fine by using the 3.5 mm jack.
I bought two Lenovo Thinkvision P-27 monitors to use with my MacBook Air and mini-Mac respectively. While great when work, both have had issues with the USB-C ports from day one. One of the USB-C ports has snapped off completely rendering it unusable. At less than 1 year old and well within the 3 year warranty, Lenovo has refused to replace the broken one. Their customer support stated the consider it to be a “customer induced problem” - even though they hadn’t inspected it to determine if there was a faulty component. My advice, shop elsewhere and don’t risk your hard-earned cash. There are plenty of other solid brands at the same price and quality.
Great review! im considering buying this monitor used since I found a great offer. Looks like im going for it. I used to have a 4K Thinkvision P27 (27 inch), which unfortunately I had to sell due to factory defect on uneven backlight issues. It was a very similar model to this one, and at this size the pixel density will be adequate for my work (3D and CAD). I love the clean, profesional aesthetic of Thinkvision and all Thinkpad products in general, having a T440s laptop myself, as secondary computer. Im surprised to see this monitor goes up to 75Hz, altough not as high as gaming monitors, it will be great for ocasional gaming. I hate the look of gaming monitors, they look clownish. I would have liked the USB-C Power Delivery to be higher, possibly 100W, since im considering replacing my desktop with a laptop in the near future. Something I would have liked to see in this model is that the stand and the vesa mount would be separate, as in some other thinkvision monitors. This enables the possibility to mount mini pc in the back (like the lenovo Tiny PCs), using the independant vesa. A suggestion for your chanel: As a viewer from Latin America, I regularly look at reviews from India and Asia because we get largely the same products and models here, that USA and Europe don't review as much. I supose because both Asia and Latin America do a lot of commerce in the pacific ocean. As a suggestion, with all due respect, please kindly subtitle the parts when you talk in your language (I dont know which one you use, I know there are many in India alone), as we dont know it :( (I would love to learn it someday though!). Lots of information is lost for us. Also when commenting on price, please also say the equivalent in dollars. We in latin america know english because we learn it since we are children in school. When it comes to charging, I am using MacBook Pro 13 2019 edition. in order to get it charged via the monitor, I have to disable and enable smart power option. This is one option. Second option is to enable Super USB-C charging, which will reduce the brightness, lock the contrast control and start charging the laptop.

@@viralchopra917 always go for a 4k monitor when it comes to macbook. If not possible go for 2k. 1080p is of no use for macbook. You need to disable and enable smart Power to make the monitor charge the macbook. I don't have much issues with usb ports on monitor. If you are charging macbook and something else at the same time from monitor there are chances that it creates issues. Fonts are small when using 2k displays. I did some workaround to make font better. Ethernet ports are working fine as advertised
@@sandeepsuresh2006 i understand what you are saying completely, 4k none i can find in under 35k with usb C functionality. This and Dell 2520D were only 2k panel in that price range. Though Dell is way more expensive at 28,000 vs 22,000 (this). I don't intend to charge other devices from monitor other than MBP13. But yes would be connecting - external SSD, pendrive, printer, phone (occasionally for backups, not charging). My main concern is that monitor should provide consistent power of 60w to laptop so that it keeps charging it. Lot of users report that this monitor doesn't do that and is very erratic in nature. So as you are using this monitor - overall are you satisfied with performance of TypeC ? and Display quality? Does it always charge your MBP?

@@neonel2991 I purchased dell u2421e and I am very happy with purchase. Got the dells own speaker also for this monitor which fits in quite nicely. I would suggest you to go for 2k or 4K only if you are into heavy graphics work. But for daily office use this is perfect monitor. But for sure stick to dell only. Lenevo is not fully mac compatible and have lot of issues.

@@djniteshpandey 1) I'm Using Lenovo-Yoga-910 unfortunately it doesn't have thunderbolt port. 2) The USB-C port that I use to connect to this monitor and the USB-C port that I use to charge laptop are different. 3) So I cannot comment on power delivery here as my laptop is not compatible to test that feature. 4) Keeping that aside this monitor is great for work, browsing and watching movies, Not great to watch HDR content though as this monitor doesn't support HDR. 5) Color reproduction is perfect out of the box, but I just increased saturation a little as i prefer little punchy colors. 6) Ethernet port works flawlessly, I use it all the time over Wi-Fi as it provides more stable connection when working through citrix. Hope this helps, let me know if you any questions.

Even I have the same requirement as yours. For more of text based daily work, do not opt for 1080p or FHD monitors. Go for a higher resolution like 1440P or more. Even I am to decide between Lenovo Q24H-10 and LG 24UD58.

1. The base is made out of metal from inside 2. I bought it from Lenovo's official website 3. I didn't face any backlight bleeding or any other issues with the display 4. I think they do offer 14 days of full refund or replacement if you encounter any manufacturing defect (but again take this with a pinch of salt)

The guys seem clueless about their own warranty policy on pixel defects. I asked them about their bright/dead pixel policy and they sent me something about their extended warranty offers. The first two are 2K monitors while the HP model is FHD monitor. I generally dont like 1080p monitors as the text and fonts appear to be very pixelated and blurry. It happened with my Dell S2421H monitor. If you work a lot with text and fonts opt for a 2K monitor only. Even I am to decide between Q24H-10 and LG 24UD58. But LG model is not having inbuilt speakers and is also 3 year old model.

8:26 That is not correct. It doesn't have to be a thunderbolt port or cable. The included usb c capable is not a thunderbolt cable. All you have to do is connect it to a usb c port on your pc. My Lenovo laptop has no thunderbolt but it has usb c with ALT DP mode so I can get video too. If your c port has no DP alt mode then you won't get video.
Also, is possible that i connect my magic keyboard, mouse and a bluetooth speakers directly with MBP. Connect it with thunderbolt cable with monitor, put MBP in clamshell mode, and use all the 3 devices like normal? I dont want to use dongle based mouse and keyboard.

If clamshell here means 'Closing the lid of the laptop and still using it with the external monitor with all other functionality still running' - Yes it does work

Hello sir, I bought Lenovo Q24h-10 usb c type monitor, The screen is very bright for me to work. There is a button of brightness but it is not working. Neither I am able to access brightness or contrast options from OSD menu (it is disabled). Do you have similar issue with ThinkVision monitor. Would you please help me how to adjust the brightness. Mine didn't come with a power cord, I had some old ones lying around and am just using them. I tried calling customer care but it was never connecting. The monitor is great especially for WFH but it would have been much better if I received a power cord.

If you are not able to hear anything at all, change the audio output for your laptop from laptop speakers to this monitor's speakers

I would have never came to know about this model of Thinkvision if I would not have seen this video. Could you please suggest among below what is your suggestion for buying. I have HP Envy 360 laptop which has type C and i want to use monitor as docking station too -
1- Lenono Thinkvision P24H-20
2- Lenovo Q24H-10
3- HP M24fd FHD USB-C Monitor

The first two are 2K monitors while the HP model is FHD monitor. I generally dont like 1080p monitors as the text and fonts appear to be very pixelated and blurry. It happened with my Dell S2421H monitor. If you work a lot with text and fonts opt for a 2K monitor only.
Even I am to decide between Q24H-10 and LG 24UD58. But LG model is not having inbuilt speakers and is also 3 year old model.

8:26 That is not correct. It doesn't have to be a thunderbolt port or cable. The included usb c capable is not a thunderbolt cable. All you have to do is connect it to a usb c port on your pc. My Lenovo laptop has no thunderbolt but it has usb c with ALT DP mode so I can get video too. If your c port has no DP alt mode then you won't get video.

Also, is possible that i connect my magic keyboard, mouse and a bluetooth speakers directly with MBP. Connect it with thunderbolt cable with monitor, put MBP in clamshell mode, and use all the 3 devices like normal? I dont want to use dongle based mouse and keyboard.

If clamshell here means 'Closing the lid of the laptop and still using it with the external monitor with all other functionality still running' - Yes it does work

I bought Lenovo Q24h-10 usb c type monitor, The screen is very bright for me to work. There is a button of brightness but it is not working.
Neither I am able to access brightness or contrast options from OSD menu (it is disabled). Do you have similar issue with ThinkVision monitor. Would you please help me how to adjust the brightness. Would be great help, Thanks!!
Try changing the display mode. On some presets, the brightness option is disabled

Mine didn't come with a power cord, I had some old ones lying around and am just using them. I tried calling customer care but it was never connecting.
The monitor is great especially for WFH but it would have been much better if I received a power cord.

You can control volume through those buttons. There is no dedicated mute button
