I just had to stop and comment on how gorgeous this project turned out. And how much money you saved by using burlap! That is a new concept to me, and I hope I can use it someday!! You have such an amazing eye for detail, and I can't wait to see what you do next!❤️❤️
Although I loved the finished product on the outside, I have a suggestion for making the inside of the doors look more finished and polished. I would remove the staples, tuck the edge of the burlap under about half an inch, so it looks finished and prevents fraying (you may need to cut out two new, bigger pieces), and use small tacks (black or brass) to fix the burlap in place. The tacks look much nicer than staples and much sturdier (it's also the preferred method of artists, next time you want to stretch and make your own canvas).
I can't even begin to describe how much i LOVE burlap! I have done a very similar project for my sister's Kallax and I also added some door magnets to make sure these doors stay shut. Yours turned out fantastic! Love the arch you created!✨
It does look cool Tina! I appreciate your creativity! A little suggestion- hot glue ribbon or cord to cover the exposed burlap inside. It will look even more finished! Thanks for walking us through the process! Be proud of your girl power! Hugs ❤️👵🏻
You gave so many excellent tips! Wow! Like I didn't know about the scroll saw for the jigsaw to make it cut smoother around curves. Brilliant! And hanging the top hinge first to line up properly for the bottom! Thanks so much!
I love the burlap look! I’m not a cane person. I feel it gives things a more boho feel. The burlap makes it look for refined and a bit more modern - which I love! ♥️🎉
My favorite part are the little legs. I think they really finish the transformation. Thanks for sharing! You're so inspiring, and the way you explain things makes so much sense to me.
The cupboard looks fantastic. Well done. Cam we also start having more of your DIY decor ideas too. Love them also you're a very clever young lady Thankyou so much
Absolutely Fantastic job!!! You couldn’t tell that it was not bought like that to start with… good idea to have a practice run as well.. it looks great!!
I appreciate how you work with what you have and make it better. Your sweater looks so comfy and cute! Glad you went with the middle for the doorknobs because it elevates the looks. loool I don't think you need to paint the bottom of the shelf either. Love the end result! It's so elegant and chic😌. Well done, Tina👏🏽
I’m a travel nurse currently in an assignment right now.. I can’t quite recreate all of your DIY projects yet but hopefully once I earn enough money for a house down payment.. I can recreate all of your beautiful projects! Hopefully by the end of this year 🤞🏼🤍
I think the one thing i'd change is i'd add a back to it, things are always falling behind those units, they're awesome until that happens lol. ooo and those sensor lights if you wanna get super fancy? 😂
Wow! What a beautiful piece of furniture! You did AMAZING! You're so creative and I just love your videos! I must say that I also adore the sweater you wore at the beginning of the video!
Hi Tina, I am absolutely spellbound by your ability to visualise and execute any DIY project so precisely. This project is absolutely.mind blowing. Your each work is very inspiring for me to take up DIY activities more frequently. THANK YOU.🙏
LOVE, LOVE IT! THIS makeover turned out SUPER AMAZING! Also I have to say I SO LOVE your background music! It is so retro, 70’s which is the era I grew up in! You have very good taste in music!
I'd love to see you do an antique hack. I see people take and strip like the drawers and paint the body of the piece and it look amazing or they might also change the shape a bit.
Amazing job Tina! I love seeing how much your confidence has grown with your power tool usage and bigger projects. Can't wait to see what you have planned for us next

Your projects are always great, and every time I watch one of your videos you make me want to get on this DIYing thing, because I know I would love it! I also really appreciate how natural and down to earth you look, and that makes you even more likeable! plus, your face lights up SO MUCh with pride when you finish a product, it's just the best! Keep on that amazing job! ❤
You did a stellar job making this over! It looks so GOOD. I lol’d at you talking about running to hardware stores over and over when forgetting things for a project 😂cause I’m totally guilty of the same thing
Thank you ! I had the exact same piece of furniture saved for inspo, and this DIY is perfect, easy and not to many things to buy ! I’ll look out for Kallax units in marketplaces 👀
Wow Tina this looks so amazing and expensive, you did such a great job ♥♥ I'd love to see you hack an IVAR unit, I'm thinking of getting one and I'd love to see you getting creative with it!
Looks great! Only changes I would make would be to add a finished edge to the burlap on the inside & the color of the baskets and the burlap clash to me for my personal preference. But ultimately AUH-MAY-ZING!!
This looks insaaaaaaane 😍 I don’t think the bottom needs paint at all but the perfectionist in me wants matching burlap boxes 😂 maybe the ikea tjena boxes wrapped? They’re super in- expensive and I think they’d look incredible
WOW, Tina that looks Amazing🤩..you did such a Great job refreshing and hacking the unit..You’re giving me some hope for when I’m ready to tackle a circular wood project..Thanks for sharing, Peace & Blessings✌🏽

Oooo that’s a great idea. I was going to suggest sandwiching the burlap between another piece of thinner mdf

I love seeing your confidence when handling these tools. I need you to come to my house.😃 I love it.
You did a great job! My OCD would like to see some ribbons added to the burlap edges to hide the staples and frays!
Super elegante!!!! Me ha encantado 🤩🤩 muchas gracias por compartir tus maravillosos proyectos🥰
Brian saying “this looks amazing bub” 😭😭🥰

I was thinking about adding a back too! But I like to put cords through it, so maybe in the future I will add one with a hole 😇
Wow, wow, wow! I’m so impressed with how great this looks, Tina.
You did a phenomenal job!

Tina , my luv you always manage to keep me wanting more from you… Job well done, I luv it!!!
That shelf looks high end. Love it
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! You might put some fabric glue/adhesive on the edges of the burlap to keep it from fraying!
That is awesome. I was thinking of doing the same but with fluted doors. Loved your video!
You did an awesome job. I love it. The only thing I would suggest would be to get hardboard for the back. That would top it off nicely.
You did a stellar job making this over! It looks so GOOD. I lol’d at you talking about running to hardware stores over and over when forgetting things for a project 😂cause I’m totally guilty of the same thing

I love how you impress yourself, great job!
That’s a fantastic upgrade love,love it
I wonder if you removed every 3rd thread from the burlap (horizontally and vertically) if it would have more of a caning vibe.
Ohh my gosh it looks absolutely beautiful. It came out so good. Love it
Thankyou for all the inspiration! I'm gonna give this project a try but I might try gold legs instead seeing as its gonna go under my gold arch mirror

Tina, Your work is getting to be sooo professional - love it

the perfectionist in me screamed when i saw the back of the doors (o_O) but when i saw the final result I stopped caring (*v*) too beautiful
This looks absolutely amazing! Love the idea to use burlap instead of cane
That is perfect!!! Congratulations!!!
Wow it looks amazing, what a great job!!👌👌
I would definitely paint the underside. And I would cover the frayed edges of the burlap. Other than that it looks GORGEOUS.
